I am currently looking for 9 pairs of converse for my wedding, I went on Monday night and spoke to a rep there and told me to leave my information with him and he will call the OWNER to see what is the best discount he is able to give for 9 pairs of shoes and that he will call me the next day. my call was never returned and when I called on Wednesday, the employee and manager was no help and was unprofessional and the manager did not want to take the call when I ask to speak the manager directly and the manager keep having the employee be the«messenger» and putting me on hold for more than 5 mins.

I came here because I didn’t want to drive all the way to Santa Anita mall so I decided to give it a try. I’m actually surprised that a store this small has such a big selection and such a great customer service. Compared to Foot Locker or any brand store, Shoe City has really good deals. I would come back.

This store is the coolest shoe store in SoCal. If you’ve never been there, I highly recommend checking it out. They’re prices are unbeatable, and they offer several awesome deals and discounts. I really doubt there would be a style of athletic or casual shoes that you couldn’t find in this store. I have personally bought about 6 or 7 pairs of shoes in the past year from this store. My shoe size is Mens 13, which is very hard to find in most styles in most stores, but they have them all.

One time I bought a pair of chucks here for $ 26.99 and that wasn’t on sale! Price-wise they will always be cheaper than your footlockers or Journeys but thats about all I can say about this place. If you want to find some new USC or UCLA sandals, they will probably carry it here.

Unfortunately, the much larger location of Shoe City on Atlantic in Monterey Park closed a few months ago, but I really wanted some sneakers so I went this location in Rosemead. It is WAY smaller, so I was skeptical that I would find something that I liked. Somehow, tho, they manage to cram a lot of selection into such a tiny store. The guy working was very friendly without being pushy, and that’s a fine line that I really appreciated. Let me browse around, but helped me find a size when it was clear something interested me. So I tried on a pair of shoes, took about 20 steps inside the store, and I was done. The prices at Shoe City seem pretty reasonable to me, so I don’t really compare them against Big 5, Sport Chalet, or Sports Authority, altho I probably should. Anyway, I think it’s a fair deal so they get 3 stars for an A-OK shopping experience.

If you don’t know me, my daily uniform involves a Rocawear chicken suit, bedazzled aluminum grill, and Chuck Taylors( ). Since high school, I’ve always stocked up on my Converse kicks from Shoe City for the low, low price of $ 29.99. And no, I will not tell you where I get my chicken suits. I ain’t gonna play Single Yellow Female.

It’s a really small shop, conveniently located near the Target plaza, with a random variety of shoes. Yet, I’ve always found good prices for Chucks. They have a wide selection of colors of Chucks. The return policy is pretty good and their staff is friendly enough. You can check our their selection by going to their website . Just keep in mind that their prices are higher online than in the stores because they factor in «free shipping.»
