Like the reviewer said below, this is the best value on Korean food you’ll find in the SG area. I enjoyed the food there – loved the sprouts that they gave for appetizers! The stew that my table and I ordered came fast and was flavorful. Am definitely planning to go again!

Awesome deal w/their re-grand opening 30% discount, but don’t forget price is always reflective of the product. All on the taste or flavors — bbq chicken w/tofu soup combo, along w/the sides. Both the tofu soup and chicken lacked flavor, which I was already expecting from the way the food looked on the neigbhoring tables. The bbq chicken was insufficient in the the soy, sesame, oil, ginger, garlic, etc.,-usual ingredients. Tofu soup(seafood) looked like it had the ingredients but somehow the flavor or taste still came up short. The sides were ok but I had better. The japchae didn’t have enough of the soy or sesame flavors, as w/most of the other sides. But the kimchee was more spicy than I’ve had in most korean restaurants and unfortunately, this spiciness overpowered some of the other side dishes. So you get a pretty decent value for the amount of food, but they need to add a bit more of the spices to the food to enhance their flavors.

Wonderful value since there is a 30% discount going on now(I only think this is going on until 11⁄15? Then it becomes 20% for a little while.) — I’ve gone there twice so far. Even without the discount it seems like the price is on par with most other places. The tofu«stew» has good flavor and the spicy combination(beef and seafood) has jalapeño chunks. They’ll give you just beef if you ask for it. The sides ranged from okay to good(especially the kimchee). The rice isn’t serviced in the hot pot(so no crispy rice) but they’ll give more servings for free so that makes up for it. It seems like a family run place and the service was attentive. Parking — I go to this plaza a lot so on Sat/Sun morning/afternoons it’s packed and horrible. At night it’s a ghost town and a huge lot. Both times I ate dinner and then went to the market(very convenient!). One thing to note, I am not sure why it’s called Pork Village(they don’t really have unique pork dishes?). It used to be called Tofu Village — you’ll see all the old signage around and if you flip the menu over you’ll see it.
