Roselle Park Liquors

I come to this liquor store almost every day! (No lie) I love a nice glass of wine after a long day of work, and being that this liquor store is very close to my house is very convenient for me to come here. They have plenty of parking, the staff is friendly and they have a great selection of wines (I usually get Malbec). And I must say they have great prices! They are cheaper than most liquor stores around, even cheaper than liquor stores in Elizabeth and Union (trust me, I would know). And everyone that comes visits me I tell them to stop at this liquor store and everyone that I’ve recommended here absolutely loves it, especially their prices! I would highly recommend this place!

Their liquor prices are the same as any liquor store in the area. (I stated that last remark because someone wrote they liquor is cheaper then others). The reason I am giving them one star is because they are unprofessional. I walked into the liquor store and the cashier made a a rude comment towards me so I sent one back. Once I defend myself after replying to the immature comment. The fat Caucasian female cashier continue to try to argue. She stated I shouldn’t even sell you our product which made me feel uncomfortable because I have been to two other liquor stores in the area and never ran into someone so angry. I had walked in with my younger brother which is going to the marines and he is underage but he was not buying liquor or consuming liquor. They let me browse and pick out what I was going to buy then complained about my brother being in the store at the time of the purchase but I felt as if that was a problem they should have stopped him at the door instead of letting me go around and pick the product to later bring that up because of the situations with these comments being thrown. I asked why they didn’t I. D both of us at the door and then another co-​worker came from the back and said I wasn’t here so we didn’t i. d you and your brother at the door. This the first time I’ve been to a liquor store that they ID’s at the door and if that is the policy; why didn’t the fat Caucasian Female cashier Id us ?. The liquor store staff; mainly the fat Caucasian female made this my last time in this liquor store. I think they need better staff that do their job and not worry about how someone looks. Their job is to sell liquor and ID people buying liquor, not to make stupid immature comment and heckle people. In a weird way I felt like she was discriminating against me people I’m Spanish but it’s what ever, I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

Dedicated parking and easy to get in and out for a beer run. Reasonable prices and strong selection of beer, wines and spirits make this a solid place to get liquor locally.
