Queen Bee Nail Salon

Even though I have three nail salons in my area, I honestly prefer to drive the extra 5 minutes to this one. Its one of the newest in Rosedale.
They have free street parking, but its very limited. Theres a Rite Aid across the street with a parking lot you can use.
This shop is the second addition to the first Queen Bee nails that is a few doors down. I do not advise anyone to go in there. It is is always crowded compared to the new one. It is very outdated. The new location is small. There is six nail stations and 6 pedi stations. The seats are very comfy! Theres only one tv to keep you entertained. The drying stations have a unique look to them, but they dont dry your nails well at all.
The staff is very nice. They are informative and patient. However on a very busy day, you will notice them rushing their work. I only get mani/pedi’s so I’m unsure of how their full sets come out. The manis are nice. They offer you these cool warm towels to dry your hands with. You’ll get the regular hand massage before and after you polish your nails. The same goes for the pedicure. They have A LOT of different types of pedi’s they do.
I spend $ 50 (tip included) on my gel mani and regular pedi. The gel honestly lasts me 2 – 3 weeks.

I’ve been going to this nail salon about five years. The quality of the work is decent. Ever since Wendy (the owner) has gotten a second shop on the block, her attitude has gotten gross. She has a second shop because of loyal customers like myself. I think she’s forgotten that. The only reason I still go there is for convenience. I just ignore Wendy. It’s not too far from me and there’s always parking available. I don’t have a favorite nail tech there. I pretty much direct whoever is doing my nails. Andy does a nice job. So does his wife. But like I said whoever does my nails I direct them on how I want my nails. I also get my pedi and my eyebrows done there.

I’ve been living in Rosedale for a long time now and this is one of my top 3 choices of nail salons I go to. I’m very picky with everything; hair, nail, you name it lol. Always came here to do my eyebrows since high school and come here to get my pedicure and fill ins & etc. I def recommend this place. Love love love

They always do a good job. Full set $ 20, fill in $ 15, pedicure $ 13. Even on a Saturday morning they always have enough people to make sure they wait isn’t too long.

Stop here to get my nails done in a pinch however I didn’t appreciate being nickel and dimed and the paint job wasn’t as nice as it should have been… inexpensive and limited nail polish and color choices the technician was pleasant enough but I will keep looking

Limited nail polish colors. The high end nail polish are behind the nail technicians somewhat HIDDEN.
Other than that the price are responsible, and their work is good.
Need better costume services skills.

The 4 stars are for my girl Tina not anyone else if your from the area it’s an easy 123 but customer service from anyone else in the nails salon especially the lady in the first chair is horrible but they get the job done

Andy did such a great job he took his time and was very neat and patient I got there at 830 and he still took me and did not rush and was so nice I got the Gel manicure I was very pleased I’m so thankful I found them last min.

Excellent service very tentative to their customers I recommend this nail salon it’s close by a 5 minute drive and very convenient.

Been going here for about 5−6yrs and no matter where i end up in a bend… lol…I always come back. Very fast & efficient service… really reasonable prices. And u come out feeling brand new as always! Too bad Tony left. he was one of their best.

I’ve been her twice in 2 week increments. Tina was the first person to do my manicure/​pedicure. She was quick, clean and did a good job cleaning my nails. I do take all my own nail polish: base coat, color and top coat. Of which she was fine using. I wish she had waited a bit before applying top coat, but it’s fine. straight forward basic mani/​pedi and cheap $ 20! The second time I went, i do not know her name. She did designs on my toes and ring finger (for $ 3 extra on my fingers, toes are free design Mon-​Thurs and I always go on a Thursday). it’s a quick cheap place to get your nails done. It is a full service salon in the sense that they do acrylics, gel manicures, waxing, etc, but it is not your posh salon. I like it because it is convenient on my way home from work to stop in.

If i could give this place zero stars i would. This is the worst place ever!!! I would not recommend this place to my enemy or go here if it was free. I went for a basic manicure and pedicure. Nothing fancy… no designs, no gel manicure just the regular.
Let me start with my pedicure. Took the polish off fine, went to clean the cuticles up and she kept poking me and I felt like she was cutting me. She finally got the hint from me jumping all the time and took it easy. Now the scrub. They tried to use a hand grater! Yes folks… A regular kitchen hand held grater that you would use to zest a lemon, to scrub away the rough spots. That gets followed with a scrubbing of you feet with a brush but she used it on the top of my feet and scrubbed like she was trying to take my skin off. Let me just say that I go regularly to get pedicures so it was by no means call for such extreme measures.
Now for the manicure. I wanted my nails short and evened out as some recently broke. She couldn’t even file right. You could tell from the way she sawed back and forth on my nails. I kept pointing it out to her and finally asked another lady that was working there to explain to her. The lady ended up fixing the filing. Now for the color. I was getting a light opaque nude color put on. She put 3 coats on and in the end it was still streaky and she missed the sides I complained and the man came over to help and redo my nails but in the end they came out the exact same way.
All I can say is I will never go here again. The girl that did my nails claimed that she didn’t speak any English and i swear she had never done nails before. My 8 year old niece would have done a better job.
In the end I was just too annoyed to even keep trying and left to come home and do it myself. Please save yourself the headache and don’t waste your time or money here.
