I have been there every Thursday for the last 6 weeks and the service and food have been fine so this review is not about that. I am most that I cannot get hold of anyone there. I was at the restaurant yesterday evening before my flight. I forgot my I pad on the bar when I left to board the plane and did not realize it until the plane doors had been shut. I immediately tried to call the restaurant while still at the runway, when I landed in Dallas and this morning. There is never any answer at the only phone number I can find for them which is ridiculous. As for the haters there I understand that I am the one that forgot the I pad and that is solely my fault and not theirs so I am upset with them about that just that there is no way to contact anyone to see if they have it.

Service was quick and friendly. My chicken sandwhich came out fresh and hot from the kitchen! They were out of avacodos this evening though… really could have perfected my sandwhich. I didn’t bother ordering a drink. All airport drinks are over priced. No Thank you

Been here twice. Each time I left thinking I wouldn’t go back. 1st time, the place was about ¾ full. Waitress was good but the food was so so. Came out in ok time but wasn’t good quality. The 2nd time it was really quiet, with 4 waitresses. 3 were talking with the hostess. 1 was actually working, although she was chatting with customers more than anything. Incredibly slow to even recognise customers, let alone serving them. There was a guy there before me still waiting to order and was getting impatient. I had decided what i wanted and was waiting for over 5 minutes for her to even look over. Eventually she turned around, and came straight to me. Then went to him, he looked pissed off, rightly so. Food again was ok time, but quality was lacking again. What is with airport restaurants? Do you not realize that customers are in an airport and expect very fast service, and after all we are paying a higher price than regular restaurants? Get your shit together, no excuses.

Quick wait for a table for 1. Polite server. She seemed a bit confused about my order(plain cheeseburger) and I had to go over what that meant(just cheese, burger and bun). Wine was a generous pour. Soda hit the spot. Meal was delivered quite quickly but there was a slight delay in getting the check. Overall, it’s an airport, it’s food and the wine was lovely. Can’t complain much.

Stopped by for a beer waiting for a flight. Quick service, place was packed due to weather cancellations. I would come back on my next trip.

I am a weekly traveler through the Detroit Airport and their hours are inconsistent. They close when they feel like it. This place needs to be replaced with one that provides a service that is consistent. I went to have dinner there tonite at 7:25 and they were already closed. They are supposed to be open until 8 pm. I don’t get it.

It’s 12:46 and they are out of salmon. Very disappointing. The service is very good. Atmosphere is good for the North Terminal, which has a lot of fast food. I’ll try this place again, in hopes that they get their food ordering right(there hasn’t been poor weather lately so that excuse won’t fly). On a positive note, the chicken I ordered was very good. Tender and served at the perfect temperature.

Because of a series of delays and unfortunate events a five hour flight turned into 24 hours of grueling travel. Nevertheless, our meal at ruby Tuesdays was by far the lowest point in the day. Ordered the RT featured item of Spinach and artichoke dip. The chips were scarce and mostly stale. The dip itself was barely warm. Just microwaving it longer would’ve made it passable. Bit into a thick artichoke and it was cold. Got whiffs of a nyc subway or a bathroom by the booth where we sat. Burgers we got were mediocre. Not worth the $.

Zero star would would be given if I could do so. It says add $ 3.99 for garden bar wit order of entry. So my bf order an steak entry with the garden bar. And I ordered the $ 9.99 Thai shrimp under the category of appetizer since I’m not too hungry(10 bucks for an appetizer is just same price as some of the entry). Once we got the bill, the waitress Brittany K charge is the garden bar for $ 9.89 full price instead of 3.99. So totally bill is $ 40 dollar(steak + shrimp + garden bar salad) When we asked her why, she said because I ate the salad also. First of all, I did eat the salad from my bf’s order. But ask yourself would you never share food while you eat out with your friends and family? So, according to this Brittany waitress girl, if you order dish A, you should never ever cross the dish to try any of your friends or family’s dish, not even for a bite. Because this Brittany waitress will come after you, she sure will keep an close eye on all of you. And if you question her, she will say, I can have my manager come out to talk to you guys with a horrible attitude. She never smiles also, maybe she’s having a bad day I don’t know. Let’s talk about the food quality. –Steak is alright, –the appetizer shrimp is so oily and old. Like it’s been there for a day or so then re heat it with microwave. –salad is okay also, but the thing is, half of the trays are empty. And they don’t even bother to fill it up for the entire time. Conclusion is Simple, stay away. If I knew it would be like this, I’d rather starve my self to dead instead of stepping in this horrible place.

All we had was cocktails but the service was great. We had three people getting our drink order out to us and never had to wait for a refill.

A place to sustain you with overly processed food and cold drink as you await your flight out of Detroit Rock City…

Somewhere to fill the stomach, before a flight leading me to a Scandinavian cruise. Had the salad bar. It was decent. Not as many options as regular ruby Tuesdays. Everyone was watching usa in World Cup soccer. Waitress was not around very often and it took about 15 minutes to pay my bill.

I chose to go to this Ruby Tuesday since I had a coupon for 50% off 2nd entrée since we had a flight out of DTW. Well that didn’t work out — they REALLYARENOT Ruby Tuesday, just have name out there — corporate doesn’t honor them refund! Stated food is the same ??? I ask about the crab cake if it’s just like Ruby Tuesday’s — YES, all our food is the same. NO it’s not. I ask to make sure the crab cake was boiler, came grilled seared. My husband as if they had a boiler, since they did he sent it back! Waitress did bring back my side after a bit so I could eat them. I ended up waiting for the crab cake after we were both done the food on the table. My husband had some kind of hamburger, slightly under done for medium. The fried were done nicely and warm. Felt we should have been offered a discount because of the long wait for my crab cake being corrected. The waitress was nice and polite. Once we got home I noticed on the bill(my husband had charged) that we were charged $ 2.50 for ice tea — I had water !!! His beers were correctly. Go some where else. Why didn’t I check before going here ???

Perhaps the staff was having a difficult day — customers at an airport MAY be in a bit of a hurry. The staff on December 2nd never smiled. The hostess never made eye contact. She mumbled something which may have indicated a server would be with me. I waited nearly 10 minutes with no contact from any wait person. Even a, «We’ll be right with you,» would have been welcome. I was not offered water while I waited. Meanwhile, I observed several(three) wait persons in a spirited debate that last nearly as long as I sat, ignored. As I rose to leave a waitress approached. I told her the restaurant needed to improve their response when they are dealing with travelers on a schedule. Her response? A curt, «You just got here!» Then she stomped — YES, stomped — away. I blame the immediate management and ultimately the corporate hierarchy for not properly training staff. The best restaurants I have found in airports begin the interaction with a simple question: «Is your flight leaving soon?» At that point they can adjust the speed of service as needed. Doesn’t cost corporate anything and it sets a STELLAR tone with the customer. This encounter has soured me — perhaps unfairly — on ANY Ruby Tuesday’s.

All I can say good about this place is they have alcohol. Beware, they automatically bring you a tall bear(at $ 6.95 each) and it isn’t that tall :) My food sucked, why ask how I want my burger cooked when it is well done anyway, french fries were cold and the people sitting the restaurant looked as pissed, upset as I did… get me the hell out of here. Cleanliness was questionable and my waitress was a ditz… nuff said

Walked in an was seated promptly. Two different waitresses walked by and did not stop. They went to other tables… one that was seated AFTER me and took their orders. I waited until she returned with the other«arrived-after-me-and-were-waited-on-first-table» and when she left their drinks and went back to the waitress conversation pit… I left. Not happy. There are other places with better service on this airport.

I fly through Detroit occasionally and have eaten here a few times over the last several months. Usually I’m looking for a light lunch so I stick with the endless salad bar and cup of soup, usually a chicken chilli with white bean, very reasonable at $ 9.99. It’s hard to find salad bars in airport restaurants and I especially like this one – not big but good selection and you can have your fill. The chilli is pretty good. Service is always fast and friendly and there are power plugs near each table. I’m not there at rush hour but it never seems crowded. These are all reasons I go back whenever I need lunch at the airport.

This is the Ruby Tuesday’s beyond the security gate at Detroit Metro Airport. It’s located in the North Terminal. At first glance, it looks appealing. And if you’re desperate for a reasonably pleasant place to sit, this will do. But don’t expect to get anything resembling healthy food. When I was there earlier this month, there were no side orders of vegetables. I waited forever to get a little plate of broccoli that was so overcooked & spongy that it was barely edible. The bean soup was clearly based on some sort of gloppy filler. HOWEVER, if you want a burger with fries — or anything fried — the hefty platters coming out of the kitchen looked good. Serve was friendly but sloppy. Never again.

Not the cleanest place in the world. But then again, you’re eating in an airport, what do you expect? Food is good, not expensive for an airport, and servers are friendly, for the most part.
