Good value, plus you can grab the shuttle. Wish they would have had the coffee ready in the lobby. Yep, it’s 3 am but I’m jumping on a flight and it would have been nice.

The staff make it hard to give less stars even though the building deserves it. The building is one star at best. The staff are five stars. These ladies need to get jobs at a hotel that isn’t a complete mess. The rooms are falling apart, smell like old carpet with water damage and make you feel like you don’t want to take your shoes off in your room. The hotel may need to be knocked down, but the staff is better than some high quality hotels. I don’t know how that works. I’d say to avoid this hotel at any costs. Oh, the shuttle may or may not come to pick you up. Mine didn’t

Paper thin walls. I should not here coughing or the sink running next door to me. Construction was going on during my stay and they were still at it extremely late at night. I travel a lot and have been forced to stay at some bad hotels, so trust me in my declaration of this hotel as being one of the worst.

The other reviews here are spot on. This hotel is worn at best, but the free shuttle, hot breakfast, and nice staff(the woman who works the desk late night is extremely helpful) make this a decent place to get stuck overnight while waiting for the next flight.

This is a great hotel if you need to stay the night before flying out of Detroit in the morning! It has a car valet so you can keep your car there for as little as 7 $ a day. It has a hot breakfast in the morning which is great as well. The manager is very sweet and helpful, so is the rest of the staff. I only gave it 3 stars because it isn’t as fancy as the other hotel I’ve been to. But, you get what you pay for; Which is a great value.

The other reviewers are correct; this is a functional hotel and certainly not a destination. The rooms were okay if not a bit dingy. The price is good and the airport shuttle is fast and efficient. With that said, the staff were fantastic. They have worked out the shuttle and the parking issues and the staff were all knowledgeable and cheerful, even though they were clearly under a lot of stress. I highly recommend it for travelling in and out of the Detroit airport.

After getting stuck in Detroit for the night, the Quality Inn seemed a good, cheap choice. You get what you pay for. The room we were in was soooo noisy. In the hotel’s defense the wind was blowing like crazy, but they need to anchor the gutters better. The gutter outside out window had fallen down and banged on the wall all night long. We were on west coast time, and being night owls any ways didn’t even get to sleep till 6am, but we wouldn’t have been able to sleep any ways. Not the cleanest place ever. The bathroom mat had yellow stains all over it. We were told breakfast started at 5am, since we were up we went down at 5:10, no breakfast until 6am, even though I had just called and was told 5am. The staff was friendly and its super close to the airport. Maybe ok if there was a clean mat and no wind. Also, nothing open late close by, especially if you don’t have a car. The Cottage Inn delivered and was decent.

Recieved a comp stay due to a delay with Delta Airlines. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. They offer complimentary wifi, hot breakfast and a shuttle to DTW. Staff was quick, friendly and helpful at check in. No frills but pleasant hotel. Recommended for layovers at DTW.
