I cannot talk about the food, only the late-night drinks/darts/karaōke. Though, due to the ambiance and experience with late night, I imagine the food leaves much to be desired, but I can only assume… Anyway, this place is mostly a good time. I live within walking distance to downtown and pretty frequently go for late night drinks and karaōke. I even suggest this place to many people. One of their problems is that their turnout is so inconsistent.(which I can only partially fault them for) One Friday, I’ll go in, and the bar is full, the line for karaōke is at least ten songs long, there are large and small groups of people, etc. Then I can go the following two Fridays, and they’ll have no more than 15 people in the bar at any given time. I enjoy both circumstances, but can never gauge what to expect. I understand that this is a dive bar and the building has probably been there for a long time, but this restaurant’s biggest knock is the bathroom. Walking down stairs to go to the bathroom: with each step gets a stronger and stronger smell of pee mixed with some weird cleaning solution. The men’s bathroom just wreaks at all times and it seems they don’t care enough to clean it. It seems like a few times a day, someone walks down there, sprays some weird disinfectant all over and walks back upstairs. The drinks are what you’d expect from this bar; it’a a dive place, with 4 taps of domestic styles. They do also have liquor, but I generally just go for a couple tall beers and the company. There’s always someone sitting at the bar too wasted. The crowd gets a little bit weirder as each hour passes, which I suppose I’m not too surprised about. All in all, this is a bar I go to pretty regularly, and bring friends. But there’s nothing much to expect. I don’t really go here to go here, I go here to grab a beer and hang out with friends. Whereas some places are more of a destination. It’s almost like this place is just kinda there… I know that kind of makes no sense… Like, I go to Thee Office Pub down the street for bands, craft beer, awesome food, etc. Whereas this just seems like a place to meet up, not much the attraction as other bars. I do however, continually hear from locals that this place has gone downhill! I know many, many people who used to frequent this bar and have flat out stopped going due to poor management. Ultimately, there’s not much wrong with this place, but there’s also not much going for it either…

Lamest place I’ve ever been. Don’t bother. Pansy bouncers and waitresses. $ 5 cover to be bored out of your mind.

We came here for dinner and a drink before going to the piano bar down the street at Younger’s Tavern. It’s a small bar in a small town with decent bar food… Nothing amazing or remarkable, but solid, and if I come back I would come here again. I really wish there was more to say, but there really isn’t. It’s a bar.

This place is great for a beer but I do not recommend coming for food if you are hungry. We had to wait a long time to get our food. The pizza was terrible but my friend liked his chicken tenders. Our waitress was very friendly but she forgot a lot of things — to be fair she was the only one working in the whole restaurant. I would come here again but just for drinks.

AWESOMESAUCE! Every Friday they have all you can eat fish and chips… do yourself a flavor and get them. Very tasty with a light batter and moist and delicious tasting fish… I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with a tall glass of PBR. The atmosphere is very small town bar, but ever welcoming to new faces :-) My parents frequent Main Street for the Friday fish dinners, and after a busy day of Estate saleing with them, we stopped in for dinner… hugs, kisses, wonderful treatment from the owner was bestowed upon us as we sat, I then watched her greet other customers in the same manner… this place definitely has loyal customers… and with good reason. Just another wonderful Romeo establishment. Stop in when you’re cruising through town on your bike, or when heading to one of the many orchards around town! You won’t be disappointed!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Waited 40 minutes for our food and when it finally arrived, the fries were cold, the cheese sticks were cold, the chili was awful, and the pickle that was supposed to come as a side for my sandwich was nowhere to be seen! NEVERAGAIN!

I live out of state. Whenever I am back home in MI there are few places that are always a must visit: Shields Pizza, Coney Island, and Main Street Bar & Grill. I love this neighborhood bar more than any other in the Romeo area. Place has a great atmosphere, great staff, and amazing drink prices. On top of all that they have the best bar menu hands down. I am a pizza lover and I put theirs up with some of the best pizza in all of Metro-Detroit. Stop by this place around Easter time and you will see how crowded they get and why people come from all areas on Fridays for their Fish N Chips. I highly recommend Main Street for any social gathering, or for just an excellent all around great meal!

My husband and I went out for dinner after doing the Halloween walk down on Tilman street. We went into Main Street. They were pretty busy. Tigers were on and it was Saturday night. Our waitress was very nice. But she kept touching and patting and rubbing my husband on the shoulder. That kinda bugged me. But I figured that may be the type of person she is. The service was good though. We ordered a couple of drinks, breaded mushrooms and pizza. Drinks were good and the mushrooms were awesome! They were not your typical breaded frozen small mushrooms. It was like they were home made! Now to the pizza. Honestly I had better. My husband said it was the worst he has ever had. It could have been an off night. The sauce tasted like grocery store bought sauce. No spice just tomato blah. I will give them another chance when I am in the area. But we didn’t leave on a good taste.

Great food, great place to hang out, it is one of my favorite bars to go to when I am home in Romeo visiting family. I definitely love to go on Saturday and belt out some karaōke with my sister and am thankful it doesn’t get too crowded. If you are in town and looking for a good watering hole this is your place!
