Waltons Restaurant

This was my first but definitely not my last visit to Walton’s. I found the atmosphere, service, and food exceptional! Our waitress was friendly funny and on top of her game! I ordered smoked chicken while others ordered fried fish and hamburger steak. Everyone was more than pleased with thier food. I found the hush puppies they brought to our table while we waited on food to be delicious. Our table gives this place a thumbs up!!!

Good catfish & shrimp. Pleasant people. Enjoyed our visit. Very casual. Simple menu items. We left full & happy. We didn’t have any rude waitresses, in fact everyone was very friendly.

If you are ever in Rogersville Alabama on highway 101 and wanting something to eat then stop at Walton’s to eat they have the best food there lunch and dinner everything they have is great we love there ribeye steaks plates and there bar b que is out of this world and when you go they will bring a side dish of hush puppies to your table to eat when your ready to order they are have a very staff that works there family own that is there that works just as hard is anyone else and makes sure your order is to please, very friendly and nice it’s always clean and the food is great what ever you get there we’ve took a lot our family there to eat and they love it too. So go to Walton’s for your next meal and I’ll sure you’ll love there food to and you will tell others about it they are a Christian family.

Good food — nice folks. I got the vegetable plate. I forgot how good purple hull peas are. I avoid ordering cornbread and okra where I live– I always end up disappointed. They know how to do it right here. 3.5 stars

The food as pretty good. The hushpuppies and white sauce were great. My girlfriend ordered the chicken sandwich though and it had two of the smallest pieces of chicken I’ve ever seen. When I asked the waitress for more chicken, she actually laughed at me and then came back and basically tossed two more small pieces on a plate.
Her, and every other waitress for that matter, were rude and need to take a class on how to smile and communicate with customers… I’d go back for take out, but I’ll never deal with that atrocious service again.

Great ribs; ribeye & fried catfish. Huge glass of tea that never gets low

Decent menu and items but nothing else. The waitresses (sp) need a class on smiling and waiting tables.
