This place is amazing! Pulled pork is delicious, bursting with a flavorful kick without sauce! Didn’t try the ribs yet, but they look mouth watering… the surprise is the tri tip(beef). We took home a pound thinking it was like brisket– it’s a cross between steak and roast! Its a bottom sirloin cut, tender, flavorful, bursting with flavor from their magic secrets of rubs and prep. Never had anything like it, and had no idea what I was missing. We also tried the potato salad, which was a great complement. Sauce was delicious with pork and beef, although the meat stood on its own and seemed as insulting to Pop’s as putting ketchup on steak when it came to the tri tip! Pop said they are trying out a horseradish based sauce for the beef which is probably amazing, but the meat alone is the best I’ve had in years.
