The only place where I take my son. The ladies who works there are awesome and were always nice and gentle with my kid. Sure, they are busy but, they are fast too.

The work they do is quality. 5 stars for that. But the place is not managed well. There are only two people working on Wednesdays, their busiest day. There is no receptionist to answer the phone, greet customers, manage the sign-in sheet and wait times, and ring customers out. We came in and were told our wait time was an hour. We came back 30 minutes later and our name was crossed off the list. Ultimately it could be managed better so we left and went to Great Clips.

My sons first hair cut. First the stylist was not friendly at all. Didn’t smile one time. I showed her a simple picture of what I wanted, she barely looked at it. She half way did what we wanted. Then I needed a little trimmed from the side of his bangs and mentioned how I liked that she didn’t cut bangs straight across, well she cut the side and about an inch width right in the front straight across. Now his bangs are half way what I wanted and half way not what I wanted. It was like she didnt care and just wanted to hurry. Nowhere near friendly. Over priced. Taking him elsewhere to fix it. Thanks for my sons first haircut snipits in Avon Ohio

We’ve been here multiple times for both my kids– a girl & boy and have always had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is super cute and designed for kids. There’s games and tv’s at all the stations for the kids to look at. When they are done with their haircut they get a card to swipe and get a «prize.» The girls who have cut their have always been sweet and have no complaints. Yes, it is a little pricy and yes there are times when there is a long wait. But, you’re paying for the experience and for a happy kid who doesn’t feel comfortable getting their hair cut(luckily that was never the case with my kiddos). To cut down on cost, I bought a handful of haircuts at once. Prepaying brought the price down lots!

Took my 2 year old son there for a hair cut. We waited about an hour and hair before he got his hair cut. This place doesn’t let u call ahead and make appointment. So a two year waiting that long was not fun for me. The women that cut his hair shouldn’t be cutting children’s hair. She had no patience with my child. When she was done cutting his hair she said nothing. So I just took my son up front and paid. How rude, no thank, no have a nice day, no hope u come back. I guess she was to busy talking to another employee about her night. First time ever I didn’t tip! The only reason I gave this place 2 stars his hair cut was ok.

I am thoroughly disappointed in my son’s first hair cut. I wish I would have came on here prior to read the reviews. We got there at 3:30 yesterday(Sunday) and there was no wait. We were greeted by the intense smell of chemicals as one of the workers was mopping the floors. My son(15 months) was so well behaved I almost died. Which is why I was completely surprised when his hair cut turned out crooked, uneven, and completely choppy. Don’t get me wrong, the«stylist» was really nice, but I honestly don’t think they hire certified cosmetologists. I think anyone can just walk in and get a job. I’m disgusted by this hair cut and I will never be returning. I can’t seem to get ahold of anyone for a refund, and every time I call I get hung up on. Stay classy, Snip– It. Stay classy.

Probably better for boys cuts. My son has been there twice– both times the stylists were patient and did a nice job. Pricey, yes, but not sure where else you can take a child under two who is NOT happy to have his hair cut, and have a stylist who is able to get the job done well, with a somewhat smiley disposition.

I’m not too picky, but«lopsided» and«crooked» are not good options when it comes to haircuts. Stay away.

Just came to this place and arrived at 515pm to find the door locked. Sat in the car a moment to find a lady cleaning the window. I asked at 528 what time they close bc I thought it was 530. She said oh we are open tomorrow at 11 – 4. I said no what time did u close today bc I was here at 515 and the door was locked. She said we close at 530 and i was mopping the floor and didn’t want anyone to fall. To me that’s bad service. I know u may want to get out as soon as you can on a Saturday but u don’t lock the door before end of business hours. I drove 25 mins to find a locked door before end of business hours. Shame on you. follow up: After writing this review, the manager did get in contact with me and seemed concerned about this. She assured me that this was not considered appropriate and not how they operate. She stated that they take their last customer as closing time and it is expected with the job that they will be there past end time. She offered a free haircut, which at first I did not plan to use as I did not want to go back. I ended up giving them a second chance and they tried to make up for it. It was a long wait but was a cool experience. It was so busy so I am not sure how that particular employee managed to close and lock the doors before closing time.

Thanks Mary M for reminding me to review Snip-its. For our daughter’s first haircut, we wanted to do something special. Of course that had to include a picture, lock of hair, and certificate… totally unnecessary but that’s what we had in mind. I called in advance and was told there were no appointments for first haircuts. So we went … And waited for an hour. UGH! There were some things to look at/watch, but mostly we were chasing L around making sure she wasn’t bothering other kids. And the place is tiny. We spent a lot of time walking around outside. When we were called, we were placed with a very nice and friendly stylist. That’s the one positive of this experience. Even though L didn’t really want to sit still, she worked around that, and gave her a pretty cute haircut(though honestly, it took 5 minutes and she didn’t really cut much other than the bangs). It cost us $ 25 for this. The picture was cute, it came in a paper frame that is bound to get destroyed. The lock of hair I could have done myself but whatever. And they were«out of certificates,» and we were supposed to get one mailed to us and never did. Not that I want an extra piece of paper lying around my already cluttered apartment! The next time she needed a trim, I did it myself and it looked exactly the same. I have learned my lesson and won’t go through this again!

This place was very cute looking. That is the best hong I can say about it. The staff was not at all friendly to girls. We made an appointment to have their hair trimmed and styled. One of the stylists was nice. Unfortunately the other was not at all, and we were forced to wait for Unfriendly to finish wig one before starting the other. We were there for more than and hour, were late for our picture appointment and where charged 3 dollars each for blowdrying. Mind you they did not have their hair washed just spritzed while being cut. We were charged 16.99 plus the 3 dollar blowdrying, and for 2 of them 24.99 for premium pampering, which is apparently what curling hair and putting a few bobbie pins is. So 103 dollars later we left unhappy and disappointed. The girls did not even get offered a lollipop after the hour. I recommend you save your money and find a truly kid friendly hair salon.

My kids love this place. It’s the only place where my son didn’t scream through his whole haircut.
