Super 8 Rockwall

Shower was hot, bedding was clean had enough towels and air conditioner worked. TV had a few choices not bad it’s not the ritz but got a good nights sleep

This place was a joke. The man at the front desk spoke broken English and was not very nice. They came out and asked us if we could move our truck and camper trailer (of which is a commercial load) after we had unhooked and gone out to have a couple beers. Because there were a lot of trucks that stay here and apparently they were more important than our truck…
We talked to a couple other guests who said that the cereal had cockroaches in it. Of all the people staying there, nobody seemed to like it. The only reason anyone was even staying here because the other hotels are at least $ 100 a night or more. (although for 2 adults and a dog it was $ 72.00)
The outside of the hotel is pretty dirty and dusty. The room that we were staying in was old but it was clean. The internet said that there is a pool, but it is closed. I didn’t see anything that was really nasty though.
If I could do it again, I would spend the extra money on something a little nicer and maybe a place where the guests were happy to be.
