Very good and friendly! They will let you sample the meat and it all tasted fresh and the people were very nice!

Good Food ! I told the counter help that it was my first visit and she was very helpful. She suggested the Italian and she was right it was great. The ham was some of the best that I have had on a sub. The store is clean, well furnished and comfortable. Go e them a try you just may become a regular.

I’ve eaten at other Lenny’s before and was excited when this one opened up in Rockwall. Looking forward to an alternative to Subway. But after several visits, I don’t think I’ll be back. The service was consistently slow and they don’t seem to take pride in their work. The sandwiches are too lightly seasoned as compared to the other locations I’ve been to. In any case, I’ve experienced better.

Let me first say I love Lenny’s sub shop in general but man oh man! The last few time at the rockwall location when the owners not there has been terrible. Today the employees were very slow and lackadaisical, my sandwiches just sat on the counter incomplete because they had to finish their conversation! Only to quickly return to the shop because they messed my sandwiches up! Not trying to bash but just done with mediocrity. Pete

Was good overall but no puling any interest to leave subway. Negatives were the buns are very bland. Next time I will try the other bread option. Also moving into Texas and no ranch dressing offered is not a business choice

Dozens of sandwich shops around, first time to try this one. My son and I were not disappointed even though I forgot it was Meatless Monday and ate an Italian sub! Like the options of getting it Skinny, regular or large. The options are many but they don’t overwhelm. This particular location had great staff and a clean spot. My son’s words«we must come back!»

Cheese steaks and subs are the real deal. Worth going a little out of your way to grab a good meal. They changes the menu and now have a lot less meat and close to the same cost. Lost my loyal following. Another example of corporations trying to drive revenue at the cost of quality. Welcome to the new America.

ain’t half bad– i’d eat Lennys over subway any day of the week. They actually stack the dang thing and everything has been fresh every time. If they delivered i’d be in heaven! I’ve never waited too long in line, and the store is kept pretty clean.

Cold Italian sub. That is all. It’s a wonderful thing. The hot pepper relish is a must.

Mmm… I love Lenny’s. It’s not just their food that I love either. They are always clean, professional, and friendly. The first time my family ever went there was amazing. While we were there the weather got really bad. Bad turned to worse and the next thing we knew we were hearing tornado sirens. This was at the very end of he night and we were their last customers. They let us stay(actually begged us to stay) so we didn’t have to go out into that weather. It was amazing. Thank you Lenny’s your staff is awesome and I will always remember that.

Well this place is having a bad day if your going here today have patience. This is the worse experience at a Lenny’s. the cashier was slow, I’m watching the sandwich makers are messing everyone’s order up. I really like Lenny’s but today was swing in a miss

I called and asked if they delivered and they said typically not but the manager said he would! I’ve never seen the venue but the fact he delivered 5 yummy ever so tasty subs in less than 30 minutes gets 5 stars. Watch out Jersey Mikes!

Nice little shop. The hot sandwiches are to die for, and obviously the cold cuts are light years ahead of it’s main competition. I like that they have a rewards program and that you can order ahead of time online. Great perks.

The staff is very friendly and the meats are fresh and sliced right in front of you but that’s about all I can about the good side of this place. The sandwiches are over priced. I could go to a nice restaurant for the price I paid here. You can’t even see the vegetables available. They slice the bell pepper horizontally leaving the middle part in which tasted funny. And as for onions I got two little circles the size of quarters. I will not be going back. They focus too much on half a pound of meat on a 7 inch sandwich and don’t even it out with cheese. I literally had to look for any cheese. It’s just a very weird atmosphere.

I keep coming back here and for me that’s a rarity. I would almost like to say I’m a regular. This place sure beats the shit outta subway, I mean they actually slice the meat in-front of you. Staff is very nice, the ordering system is very, very weird. It takes a few times to get used to, i still don’t think I’m used to it and I’ve been here like 12 times. It seems you walk up and place your order at a counter, the attendant is clearly pushing buttons on a computer, they also print up a ticket, then they hand you said ticket and tell you to walk over to the other register and pay, when you walk over to the other register, the guy asks you for your ticket, you hand him the ticket the other person printed and pay, then he will hand you your drink cup, while this is going on there is normally a third person putting together your sandwich and asking what you want on it, It is really weird to me because you cant see what they have, I always say«All the way, which on the menu says its«oregano, oil, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and hot pepper relish», somehow I still always get asked if I want mayo or mustard(no) and the hot pepper relish(yes). Like I said very confusing and doesn’t seem very streamlined, however the end product is pretty damn magnificent, every single time. I have not been let down once by my sandwich experience here. Cheese-steaks, Deli-style, or Subs… you cannot go wrong. All the meats, breads, cheeses and produce taste very fresh. I especially enjoy the regular cheese-steak with added lettuce, tomato and hot pepper relish. Also, their house brand of sour cream and onion chips are legit. That is all.

OK… let’s keep things in perspective… Yes, Lenny’s is nice and clean but that is because it is brand new. And yes, the owner is super nice and actively managing his new baby. But c’mon…this is not in the same league as say Great Outdoors or a family-owned boutique sandwhich shop or deli — this is yet another Rockwall chain restaurant and there is more than a passing resemblance to Subway. Everything here is 10x better than Subway, of course, but it suffers from the same pitfalls that plague most of the dreary corporate chain eateries that have saturated Rockwall: clean ‘n bright but with little to no character and a cookie-cutter corporate personality. Now if the nice and friendly owner’s name was actually Lenny…

Love Lenny’s. We used to live in Las Colinas where there was a Lenny’s sub shop, and there really aren’t many here in town(except the chains… ugh). I was excited to see this go up. The manager and employees are super friendly. Try the philly cheesesteak. They’re hot subs are melt in your mouth.

I waited until my 3rd sammich before I decided to toss in a review of this new establishment in Rockwall. As noted the place is clean, it’s brand new so I’d expect no less so not a bunch of brownie points there. The teenagers working the place were very friendly, chatty without being annoying and thoroughly appeared to enjoy their work. I’ve eaten at the best deli’s in the country, this isn’t one of «them», but for what it *is* this place is worth 4.5 stars. Even for a franchise it doesn’t feel like one and were it not touted in the literature etc… I’d not have known better(never seen one before TBH). I’ll assume for this review that you’ve not eaten at a Lenny’s before. When you order your sandwich, the cut fresh baked bread and then SLICE your meats /cheese(s) to order, stacking the sandwich as you watch. I’m not sure the brand name but the meat quality is definitely good, prosciutto, salame, capicola etc… on the italian sandwich an excellent oil/vinegar amount and fresh ingredients. The hot relish was good, but I found I like my sammich’s without. This Italian sub was excellent, especially when you consider where I got it… Rockwall ;) If you’re in the ‘hood stop by and enjoy. As soon as I’ve had a chance to have the cheesesteak I’ll post an update. K–
