If you like barbers that still put a razor to your neck at the end with a little hot shaving cream– then run, not walk, run here.
Everything about this place made me think of the barbers I have had as a kid or in the military. They do a fantastic job of cutting hair too.
Figure a ten to thirty minute wait most of the time, but so worth it.
Oh, and they have a guy that does shoe shines. Seriously.

I get a haircut about once every 4 months. I’m foolish that way. But I always go to Lad. I went in yesterday and asked Fran to give me a crew-​cut. She did an amazing job. It felt so good to lose all that unwanted hair.

This place is so good I downloaded the Unilocal app just to brag. Today was my first time going and it was by far the best experience. Ever. I have been to barbershop’s in the past that have the grumpy old man mentality, not this place. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door sat in a chair I told her what I wanted and she went to work. All the way down to a straight razor and hot shaving cream on my neck and straightening my beard. If you’re looking for an old barber shop feel with a smile on their face this is your place.

Nothing feels better than a trip to Lads. A clean fade, Hot shaving cream and a straight razor, finished off with a neck massage. You couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Fran is awesome! I have paid as much as 40 dollars for a haircut at OTHER places and Fran cuts it for $ 9 is is the best time over time.
