The Big Screen Store

We chose these guys because they insured us they could do a tricky install. Boy… what a bunch of clowns! After our experience I have absolutely no confidence in their installation department and unfortunately the sales guys seem to be a bunch of yes-​man. The big screen prices are pretty good but I would definitely look elsewhere for installation.

Apparently their store does not communicate well with their install team. Install team came to our house to install the tv using the scope they created several weeks ago and determined they could not do the masonry work that was required to install a tv on a fireplace. We had the fireplace when they created the initial scope and proposal. Now a few days from Christmas with new games for the kids from Santa and it looks like they will not be able to enjoy their gifts on Christmas Day. Very disappointing.

This store’s price matching policy was a scam. We came in for an advertised TV, classic bait and switch, the salesman immediately explained why we didn’t want their sale TV. He did spend time walking us through the available options. After we decided on a TV, I showed the salesman online prices (including Amazon) that were lower than this store’s and asked him to match them. The salesman made excuses for why he couldn’t match what we found.
So much for their policy.
Soooo…we left the Big Screen Store, went immediately up the road to Best Buy, pointed out the TV we wanted (thanks Big Screen guy), showed them the Amazon price, they immediately agreed to match the price, and we went home with our brand new TV. Best Buy threw in a free sound bar too!

Knowledgable staff and price matching. Unfortunately they delivered the wrong tv and I had to take a second day off of work in order to meet the delivery guys again.
They didn’t really seem concerned with the inconvenience this caused me.

We recently bought a tv from the Big Screen Store in Rockville. All around, it was a very good experience. Much better than buying in a large store. Prices were just as good and the salesman (John) was very knowledgeable about all the different tvs. We did not feel any pressure to buy one tv over another; we had all the time we needed to make the right decision. Installation was also done well. Definetely would do business with them again.

I recently bought a 60″ Samsung LED TV, Bose Soundbar and installation services from the Rockville store. The sales people, John and Steve are excellent. They know the details of each TV model and provide very good recommendations. Their prices were competitive to BestBuy, Sears and Costco. Similar to another reviewer the price on the TV I bought dropped $ 500 after Thanksgiving. They quickly filed the paperwork for my $ 500 refund and I received a check within 10 days. I definitely recommend this store.
