First time I have been in this establishment and likely the last. I was given 210 dollar gift cards from a good friend of mine as a gift less than a year ago. I attempted to use them during this trip and initially was told that it would take some time to validate them. I ordered my food and when it was ready the lady proceeded to tell me that they had no way of verifying that there was monetary value on the cards and that they were at least 6 years old, which I found completely preposterous. She further explained that there gift cards lose 2 dollars in value every month they are not used so the likelihood of them having any money was slim to none. I found her demeanor to be very crass and unapologetic. I checked with the person who gave them to me and he confirmed that he bought them shortly before giving them to me so there is no way they are 6 years old. Being hungry and in somewhat of a rush to get back to work I simply paid for my food. I was charged 16.82 for a «large» chicken cheese steak sub, a bag of chips, and a can of soda. The«large» sandwich was presented to me in a french fry paper boat. How does a sandwich labeled as large fit in a french fry boat? The chicken was sliced and not chopped\grilled like most every other cheese steak I’ve had. They also put lettuce, tomato, and mayo on it which I specifically did not request. By comparison I could go to jersey Mike’s and spend about the same amount and get a sandwich about twice as large and a 20 ounce bottomless soda. The only redeeming quality is that the food was fresh and tasted fairly good. Even still, not a good value for the money and questionable service to say the least.

Friendly staff, good selections, and great portions. The new yorker and bethedan were really good. Wish meat was served warm that would make this a 5 star.

I love the people and the customer service at this place. I ordered the New Yorker which was awesome but you really do have to pick your sandwiches carefully some of them are very average. Either way, great local spot.

Great tasting sandwiches, way too damn expensive. Esp for a filthy, cluttered, deli \seating area. Very nice customer service.

I have been here twice. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Their soup and salad were excellent and the bagel with cream cheese was average. The one feedback I would give to the owners is to take a look at the environment and décor and consider its effect on your business. Walking in I knew they catered only because there is rental equipment EVERYWHERE including a trailer taking the parking spot right next to the entrance. It feels as though one of two things happened: 1) This is a catering company that opened up its office to walk-in customers or 2) This store relocated from one with a much bigger backroom, and they haven’t found a place for all of their things yet. The customers who came in during my lunch visit had great things to say about the food, and they were right. On top of that, the customer service is excellent. But the ambiance is so bad I have to take away 2 stars. Please makeover your restaurant.

Huge sandwiches and friendly staff! Perfect for a quick bite. I would recommend getting just the beanie because it was more than enough(unless you like your sandwiches loaded with at least half a pound of meat and toppings then get the big beanie). I got the chicken salad sandwich since I wanted to try their no-mayo recipe. Instead, it had balsamic vinaigrette and sun dried tomatoes. It was very good!

The owner of the hidden gem is the nicest, most accommodating gentleman! My fiancé and I planned an outdoor cocktail hour for our wedding and were going to use patio furniture. The day before, the weather forecast turned to thunderstorms and we needed to find cocktail tables ASAP to use indoors. With extremely short notice and very few questions asked, the owner had our tables and linens ready for pick up before we arrived. We got there with enough time to grab a bite to eat and the food is even better than the service! My fiancé’s sandwich was loadedd with meat and toppings but wasn’t messy or falling apart. Seeing as it was the day before my wedding, got the Greek salad which was delicious and the big! The dressing was superb!

You need a big mouth to eat here! First time ordering from here(carryout). Got the Georgetowner and a chocolate chip cookie. I had no idea the sandwich was a triple decker, and could only consume half for lunch(and that was pushing it). Delicious, fresh sandwich and the cookie will definitely ensure that I come back! Very friendly staff who greets you when you enter. Nice job, Bean Bag!

Enjoyed a delicious cookie, lentil soup & cappuccino at this hidden away gem. I found out that they do catering which was one of the reasons I hunted down the manager Robyn here. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. More than being helpful, their food is just so good. FYI, the Rueben on their Sandwich selection and the Pumpkin bisque sounds like heaven. Even though I didn’t get a chance to try those today, I am definitely coming back for that.

Great selection of different breads, wraps, meats, veggies and cheese to combine and make sandwiches. The workers are always friendly and funny, and usually remember«regulars» orders. I highly recommend their rye bread — SO good. My mom works near this place and we come here very frequently.

so choice for lunch… generously large and quality sandwiches. Wish they were open on the weekends but hey what can ya do. If you’ve never been, it’s at least a «must try» for anyone living in the area.

A hidden gem of incredible deli creations! The sandwiches are built for dinosaurs and usually require a band of strongmen to finish. Amazing portions without breaking the bank, and some of the best coffee I’ve had in town. I’ve you frequently drive down East Gude, forget Starbucks and make a pit stop at Bean Bag! Fresh soups of the day, bagel chips, hot dogs, salads, and more. It’s a place that you MUST visit more than once to appreciate their greatness. Recommendations: –chicken on the ranch –Chicago hot dog –the Georgetowner –any of their salads(must be a Brontosaurus to finish)

Great sandwich and so efficient! Was in a rush and was in and out in about 5 minutes! Love the sizes they have, as a woman I don’t really want a sandwich that will take me three meals to finish and the beanie was a great(filling) size.

Came here after lunch for something to drink with our desserts and found a nice selection of beverages. We got and iced chai tea latte and iced cappuccino. Both were good, but I’d return for the service, too. Area is small, the flat screen TV’s were set to the World Cup games, which added to the cozy, homey feel of the place.

small parking area for the stores on the strip but i think it’s enough spots. went on friday around 11am and stayed til 230(almost til closing) parking did not seem to be an issue when i looked outside the store. there was a good rush of people coming in and ordering lunch. the whole staff is awesome! super friendly and helpful. i remember my friend who use to work around this area told me about a good sandwich place and pointed out that it was near the korean restaurant he said everything he tried was good. i got the steak and cheese and honestly thought it was okay. in my opinion the bread was a little too soft and since it was too soft i think it would have been a lot better to toast the bread. i did like the jalapenos or hot peppers on the sub :) the bean size was more than enough. i ate half and gave the other half to my mom. my friend got the miami beach sandwich? it was huge! lots and lots of meat! looked good. i definitely want to try it again.

This is our go to place for lunch, but I think their prices area bit overpriced. Perhaps they can add a meal combo with chips and drink to lower the price a bit. I guess you get what you pay for because the food here is so good! Their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are fantastic(New Yorker), as is the West Coast sandwich. Their cookies are so darn good. One of the best cookies I’ve eaten. The Beanie is the smaller sandwich size and Big Beanie has so much delicious meat.(I think almost half pound). I would eat here for lunch every day if I could afford it(about $ 14 for lunch for one Beanie sandwich, chips, drink, and one cookie). Haven’t tried their breakfast items yet.

So glad this is right down the street from my office. While it’s not the New York style sandwich I was dreaming of, it’s darn close for Rockville, MD! This isn’t a cheap sandwich place though, if you want something cheap and under $ 5 go to Subway or Quiznos. This is not that kind of place. These are BETTER! I ordered the Bean Bag Club which is roasted turkey, multi-grain toast, bacon, mayo, lettuce, tomato with avocado and swiss added on for an additional fee. I also ordered the«Big Bean» size which is like ½ pounds of meat and toppings. I had to go all out for my first visit. And my sandwich was about $ 12 — $ 13. Pricey but well worth it when craving meat meat meat. The pastrami and corned beef sandwiches look delish and are next on my «to order» list. The cookies ALSO look amazing and also next on my list! I went in to pick up after placing a group order for my office. The owner was extremely sweet and helpful in getting our orders processed. She let us know about catering and delivery when ordering 24 hours in advance. I liked this place. Best sandwich place in the area and look forward to coming back and trying out the other huge sandwiches.

Chicken on the Ranch Sandwich $ 12(4⁄5 NOMs) You can never go wrong with bacon and avocado. I defiantly liked the addition of their special BBQ ranch dressing on top. Comes on a nice wheat roll with light flavor that does not overpower all the toppings. Good balance of gooey toppings. This is on my order again list for sure for next time. The Hulk It’s Here! Sandwich $ 11(3⁄5 NOMs). Hulk smash, because of such of fun name I just had to order and say«hulk nom» with every bite. Its big size does require hulk size mouth or some jaw hinging. With such a fun name and so much crazy meaty stuff, I thought this will be a very nomnom sandwich. Sadly it wasn’t a hulk smash nom. I was just expecting so much more because of the name. Could be that rye bread has too much flavor was fighting with the rest of the sandwich. Don’t think I will be ordering this one again.
