Let me say I am not a vegan, I do not keep Kosher because I am Catholic and I will take a grilled steak topped with blue cheese drizzled with truffle oil or a bushel of steamed blue crabs before I would eat at this place! Wow I was impressed, super nice staff, clean and good food! I ordered the schwarma because it sounded cool. It was a great sandwich served in a freshly baked pita stuffed with this wonderful sauce, onions, seeded cucumbers(you know why you can’t eat the seeds) tomatoes and my guess is chickpeas like little meatballs. Perfect for a hot summer day. Lots of detail to the preparation and quality and next time I will try the pizza! My only gripe, if you want water the give you this teeny little plastic cup and they need to put more detail in the menu to let us Cathlic meat eaters know what we are getting in to.

I really like the pizza here. I can’t really describe why exactly except to say it has a great texture. I have talked with the owner a few times and she is such a nice lady. Me and the kids will continue coming to Siena’s.

Had the falafel… it came out warm and fresh. The flavor was excellent. Yum yum! Several things on the menu to try. Be back soon.

Friendly service, consistently good food. I like the salads, fish, and pasta dishes but the pizza., well, the regular pizza is somewhat underwhelming in taste and texture. I prefer their Sicilian style. What would make this place unique among DC kosher pizza places and special among all DC pizza places, is to offer the«Grandma Sicilian» recipe that one can find in NYC area. It would be better than Siena’s regular or conventional Sicillian… a zesty marina over a think cracker-like crust and topped with fresh mozzarella and basil. That would make this my favorite pizza place and worth a 5th star. Siena’s, are you listening? :)

Love this place. The woman who works there is always super friendly and very helpful. The Calzone and the salads are better here than your average pizza place. They have more vegetarian options than a lot of pizza places. Highly recommend it.

I genuinely wanted to like this place. I drove out to Rockville from Gaithersburg to try this place since I saw they have vegan cheeses on their menu and are an all vegetarian place which stocks faux meats. This place is also kosher which(although wasn’t my reason for going here) is great for others. They have a menu with good variety and I thought the place itself was comfy and quaint: tabled seating and a tv. It’s definitely casual. I ordered a Sicilian ‘deep dish’ pizza with vegan cheese, mushrooms and«pepperoni.» I didn’t hate the pizza, in fact I thought it was fine. Not amazing but not absolutely horrible or anything. but was it worth $ 30? Absolutely not. Their prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. If the food was amazing I would pay that much for it(especially to support a partially vegan place) but its just lackluster. Based on reviews I knew they were expensive but I thought that maybe the taste would make up for it, unfortunately it didn’t. The ‘deep dish’ isn’t really ‘deep’ for one thing. And it felt very thrown together. The sauce wasn’t covering the dough entirely, there weren’t enough toppings(especially considering how much I paid!), and their dough is very. doughy. The crust could’ve been crispier for sure. It didn’t taste very flavorful at all, very bland, the pizza I got wasn’t very big, and its just way too expensive. For vegan pizza I’d recommend skipping this place and going to &Pizza(at Crown Park or one of their other locations). They offer vegan cheese and vegan beef crumbles, vegan crust and a wide assortment of veggies and sauces for your pizza. The prices are way more reasonable there($ 12), it tastes significantly better and they don’t charge you extra for as many toppings as you want!

I’m in Rockville for work this week and made it here unfortunately on my last full day! The restaurant is quaint, with soothing music playing in the background. The weather permits four outside sitting and their patio is nice! I had the Mediterranean salad with a side of mushroom barley soup. So delicious! Good portions, nice presentation, great flavors. It’s evident they use very fresh ingredients and care very much about their food! To top it off, staff are all very nice people. :)

I’ve only been once, but I’m impressed. The prices are a little steep, but if you’re vegetarian, vegan, or you keep kosher, it’s a gold mine. They have pizzas, calzones, sandwiches/wraps, pasta, etc. — with veggie meats and cheeses. They also have a schwarma but I’m not sure if it’s vegetarian — I will definitely inquire next time because I’ve been looking for a veg schwarma. We had the calzone… the crust was very light so we were able to eat the entire thing and not feel overly stuffed. It needed a little salt, but we salted it and it was perfect. Will definitely return!

They charged me $ 16 for this veggie calzone(swapped tomatoes for black olives) this is not a full size pizza box this is a 10×10 box, the calzone is tiny and UNDERCOOKED, there were no customers waiting before us and it took 20 minutes to make. DISAPPOINTING doesn’t cover it.

After dining here several times since I moved to the area, I can confidently say that this restaurant is simply terrific. The staff is friendly and personable, making you feel right at home, and they offer an outstanding selection of dining options prepared just right. Last night, I enjoyed their veggie calzone — with veggie pepperoni and veggie sausage, and it was perfect. The vegetables were fresh, and the calzone was delicious. There are still so many additional choices on the menu that I’m dying to try — everything from pizza and pasta to quesadillas and salads — and I will be back again soon. Thank you, Siena’s! You fulfill a vital need for vegetarian restaurants in the region, and you do so with class.

I feel like they are so highly rated because of their captive audience. They have many vegan and vegetarian items, but I always feel that they are very cheap here. They get grumpy at you if you want to order the $ 5 lunch special. The portion of the special also always seems smaller than if you order the same thing at full menu price. Don’t offer it if you don’t want to sell it. They have vegan cheese here, but it is only available on things that you pay full price for; not available on the special. Seems like dietary discrimination to me. Food isn’t great, but isn’t awful either. The feeling that I get from the owners/operators is what makes me hesitant to rate it higher.

I went back to this place in a bind. I was hungry and it was close and offered soup. That’s all I wanted-just some soup. No one can mess soup up right? WRONG. The butternut squash soup appeared to look like bad baby food. Even worse-it ended up tasting like baby poop. This place can mess up some soup. Once again, I inquire; how exactly does this place stay open?

Anyone who keeps kosher need to know this place. The pie is great! And the SHAKSHUKA is awesome! They have their own parking lot that is great. And there prices are ok. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. And its the only kosher pizza place in Rockville so its nice that there keep everything clean and affordable price. I totally recommend this place

Great Food, Great People… Loved it!
