Why oh why do I keep going to dealerships to try and get stuff done. Its like on some level I like putting myself through agony and pain and stressing myself out about outrageous costs to fix my car. I have a 2012 Nissan Altima that I needed some work done to replace one of my Wheel Bearings. I came to Scott’s after a quick Unilocal search of Auto Repair places near my house. Once I called I knew that Scott’s was going to be a great experience. The first thing you notice is that the person answering the phones(John) was extremely friendly and helpful. You don’t get that when you call most Auto Repair shops. Most of the time you get a grumpy old guy that sounds like he is pissed off everyday, and has an attitude that he could care less about your car or where you take it to. John was immediately helpful. I had been quoted a price from the Dealership and I knew that it was way to much for the cost of the job. John quoted me a fair and reasonable price(Because I had my Vin and the exact part that needed to be replaced), and I immediately booked an appointment. To my surprise, or should I say, not to my surprise, the part that needed to be replaced was actually the wrong side of my car as quoted by the Dealership. Scott’s Mechanics did a great job to diagnose my car even though I had thought I had given them the right information. Good thing they checked my car to make sure they were doing the right work. I waited for my car, and they were quick and professional. All in all this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking at quality techs that do great work.
