Save the Date

What a great experience working with Save The Date! Had my son’s Bar Mitzvah in April and Cara, Christine, Joel, and all the staff at Save The Date were great to work with. Not only did they walk me through every aspect of the day (which was way too overwhelming to do without help) and offer their vendors information (which was extremely helpful as I’d have no idea who to use), but they came up with awesome concepts and were creative where I was not. It was a great team effort. And, once the t’s were crossed and the i’s dotted, they were there, day of, to make sure everything went off without a hitch. And, if anything went wrong, I was blissfully unaware, which makes me very happy and stress-​free :). The event was exactly as I had envisioned, with a good mix of fun, a good mix of sophistication — something for the adults and something for the kids. I am told both adult and kid had a blast, which is NOT always the case and every age was on the dance floor and the dance floor was full, whenever the music was playing. I can’t say enough great things. Upcoming Bar Mitzvah in 3 years, and I plan to use Save The Date again — Love them!

Cara did a fabulous job with my invitations. Her planning ideas are also fabulous! This is the second time we used Cara for invitations and a party planning consult and we were not disappointed! Along side Cara, is Christine Ash, who has great follow-​through. Everything was perfect!

I just finished working with Cara Weiss and Christine Ash in planning my son’s Bar Mitzvah party. Both Cara and Christine were fantastic to work with. I went into this process having almost no knowledge about venues, caterers, party themes, DJ’s, décor, etc. Cara and Christine immediately got me started with ideas and contacts for all the vendors and services I would need to plan a great party. They coordinated the process from beginning to end and helped me with all the details up until the last day. Christine also worked as a «Day Of» planner and made sure the party ran as planned and that everyone had a good time. Their follow up and attention to detail was outstanding. Christine ensured that all bases were covered so everything would be a success and I can say that the party turned out great! I would highly recommend Save the Date for your party planning needs and I would use them again for any future party.

I have known and worked with Cara Weiss for over 10 years. Cara is a terrific party planner; she is creative, works well with the clients, is very respectful of the clients’ needs, calm and courteous through hectic planning times, and is always on top of things. My clients always comment on how easy it was working with Cara and how she came up with ideas they didn’t even think of and put their vision into a reality (life-​size cut-​outs, backgrounds, candy carts, room décor, lighting, etc.).
As a photographer, I am always amazed at the amount of detail and personal touch Cara adds to every event: no event is ever the same, be it a wedding or a Bar/​Bat Mitzvah, and I have seen quite a few though the years.
Cara’s team is always on their A-​game; they run a great party. Cara’s assistant, Christine, who goes to all the jobs with Cara is a pleasure to work with, as well. I recommend Cara of Save the Date to all of my clients.
