Awful. Simply awful. That would be the best way for me to describe my first and last experience at this Ruby Tuesday. I’ve been in the area for over a decade and passed by this restaurant almost daily but never went in. Well, one evening when the wait was rather long at the Silver Diner, we decided to come here. Well, the hostess was nowhere to be found. We stood at the receiving line for a moment, but no one came to greet us, so we decided to go to the bar. When we get there, the dishes hadn’t been cleared from the previous diners who were no longer there. The bartender literally pushed them down to the end of the bar and wiped up the counter before we sat. While we were waiting for our order to be taken, we noticed how empty it was. This was QUITE odd seeing how this was a Friday night. That was a red flag that this place must not be all that if it’s not poppin’ at the beginning of the weekend. Well, when the bartender finally got around to taking our order, it took close to 30 minutes to receive our food. That was ridiculous seeing how the place was virtually empty. Giving credit where it’s due, when we finally received our order, it was hot. If only it wasn’t bland, we would have been in business. Unfortunately the food tasted like it had absolutely no seasonings on it. Just blah! So with all that said, this was not a good dining experience whatsoever!

Ruby Tuesday is now closed down. No loss to Rockville Pike. Their parent company just didn’t care about customer service and then couldn’t pay the rent. Oh well. Serves them right.

The Rockville location is now CLOSED. They were removing the booths earlier today. I suspect the rent went up and they went out.

I should have read these comments before going to this place. They have the worst customer service ever. They suck is this business of serving food. They don’t have what it takes to be there. I work in that industry and our customers are our #1 priority. We are here because of them. If we go eat some where, we expect to have a great customer service. We are paying for it. This place was a mess tables dirty, and it had rude staff. Our server make a sound when we went to sit-down to the area she was serving. A sound of she didn’t like the idea for us to go seat there. At the end she was rushing to get everything out the table so we could leave. And we were not even finished. We told her to stop because we were still eating. The bad service make our food the same way. We didn’t enjoy our stay there.

RUN! We were there about a week or so ago and talk about a nightmare! Omg! The server was totally not interested in working… We had to have the manger come over and he took care of our table! Even he was mediocre! Waited forever for drinks and appetizers to come! There were only two other tables! Horrible service and attitude from the staff! We have all agreed WEWILLNEVERGOBACK!

Ok, I have to say I only went there because I had been at the one in New York by Times Square and wanted to check how it was here. I don’t know if I came to the worst example ever or all the Ruby Tuesdays around MD are like this one because this place really left me wanting to ask for every dollar I paid back. To start, we order the four sampler(im not sure about the name), the one that has the buffalo wings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and the thai things(i don’t remember the name either and honestly, you don’t really need to know because they were bad!), so when they got to the table we didn’t even had our plates, nor silverware because our nice waitress had this delightful attitude that completely forgot to bring them like she did with my drink. The wings were not fried, they were boiled, to say something, because I am not sure what they did with them, but they weren’t anywhere close to fried, and the rest of the samples in the plate were frozen things that they just threw in the fryer until they got golden brown, and in the case of the thai things and the tenders a little bit more than that… My husband had the salmon, with mash potatoes and white rice, he said it was edible, I had the grilled chicken breast with a «creamy sauce with mushrooms and artichokes», roasted zucchini and rice pilaf. Ok, where do I start? The creamy sauce looked like a pudding, threw on top of the poor chicken breast, it was a white thick thing that was just there, not even combined with the mushrooms, that were completely dark, nor were the artichokes!!! which actually was only one piece or a choke cut into half, so these two items were not part of the sauce as advertised. The supposed roasted zucchini was not freaking roasted, it was wrongly sautéed in a big amount of oil, that it was actually floating the rest of my plate, the pilaf was ok in flavor, but i have never seen a rice pilaf with some kind of overcooked vegetables in it, in my world pilaf rice does not have anything, and if it does you specify it. I am giving this place one star because of the Relaxer Ruby or something like that, the drink I had that night, that was actually good! It had cranberry juice, vodka, coconut rum and some other things, but I believe that is was made me paid my 67 dollar bill, for this crappy food and service, otherwise, honestly I wouldn’t have. Don’t go to this place, if you really want to eat good food and make your money worth it, just go across the parking lot to the Silver Diner!

I come here often for lunch with coworker’s since it’s only a 2min drive from the office. I enjoy their salad bar and the servers are always pleasant. Always go on RetailMeNot(coupon app) to obtain an in-store coupon.

This restaurant is so bad. It smells bad, it is filthy and service is not up to standard. I ordered a sirloin steak with mushrooms(medium well). Finally the entrée came and the steak was dry, way well done and not enough seasoning. I totally regretted going there. Never again!

This place SUCKS. I sat here for twenty minutes waiting to be asked if I wanted another glass of wine. I did until it took too long. Now I’m sitting here waiting for my tab which still hasn’t come despite my cc being obviously pushed to the edge of the bar. Either the bartender is high or he has no experience in the field. Still sitting here waiting while he f**** around with bottles. He has looked over here several times and still seems oblivious to me needing my tab. I’m not about to ask him. I’ve already missed my bus so we’ll just sit here and see how long it takes him to catch on. I WILLNOTBEBACK. Find anywhere else to go.

I had a specific craving for broccoli cheese soup & the salad bar, so we chose this location for dinner. Huge mistake. All I got was annoyed. It took about 5 minutes of waiting at the front before the host came out from the back somewhere. The store wasn’t busy, it was between ¼ and ½ full. When the host finally got there he told us he didn’t know if there were tables available. He looped once around the dining room and was hemming and hawing long enough that we finally just volunteered to eat at the bar. The host said that would be great and handed us menus. When we walked over to the bar area, the bartender was doing sidework. He looked up and caught my eye, then went back to working. And he kept working. He did stop twice to talk to coworkers, but he never left the bar area to even greet us, let alone take any orders from us. After 15 minutes I gave up and we left. He did finally say hello to us AS we passed the end of the bar closest to the front door. When we got home I immediately sent a message through the website. I got the typical form letter back but have yet to hear from anyone. It’s been a few days now. I will absolutely not be returning to this location. Edit: So LITERALLY as I posted this, I got a call from a regional manager. He was extremely apologetic and responsive to my issues, and said he’s actually going to that location tonight to see what’s going on. I’m still not sure I will return to the Rockville store, but this gives me much more faith back in the company itself.

With nowhere else open for food at 8.30pm on Thanksgiving, we reluctantly walked into this Ruby Tuesdays. It was surprisingly busy In here. I for one am grateful that I have at least experienced the food, so now when I pass judgment it’s with knowing authority. They may well have done little in the way of squashing any prejudgments about the quality of their food, however it was at least hot and edible. I was mostly impressed with their service. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the staff were attentive and friendly. They looked like they cared. The furnishings and décor are a little worn and need updating. However, the cutlery and crockery that came out were clean. I’m not sure I would come again but I am thankful we were fed and watered.

Surprisingly decent! My wife and I were taking her father to lunch and didn’t feel like pushing up the Pike in traffic or waiting 20 minutes for a table at Silver Diner. The salad bar’s veggies were bright, fresh, clean and varied. My blackened tilapia was surprisingly decent. If you look at my reviews, I am total foodie. But for what it was, an informal lunch, it was very good. I’m surprised to be saying this but I’ll be going back.

Strongly recommend their green garden bar! Most entrees come with a choice of salad bar. Be sure to try this all-you-can-eat fresh salad. Main course tastes ok, but price is not friendly… Anyway, I’ll definitely pick a soup with salad every time going there.

We were seated quickly, the server knew the menu, and we had four dishes — two petite steaks, one salmon and a grilled fish. All were cooked properly and the side dishes were as well.

I have come to this location for dinner at least twice before so I am surprised I haven’t reviewed. Dinner last night was wonderful so naturally it deserves a review! BP and I brought his family here last night around 6:45 pm. Our server, Shasa, was sweet, kind, and attentive. She even brought me extra biscuits(a bit cheesy, soft, and not too dry) when requested. BP ordered the cheese ravioli. At $ 12.99, I thought it was a bit expensive for a meatless dish, but looking back, the quality of the meal was superb. The ravioli squares were nice and bite-sized, covered in a cheesy square with a rich of tomato. The pasta was tender and perfect. I had the Jalapeño Pretzel Burger and my brother-in-law ordered the Portobello Mushroom Burger. We ended up splitting the burgers in half and sharing. A great idea on my part! I am usually bad with beef meaning I get it cooked well-done, but on a recommendation from my brother-in-law, I bravely ordered the burgers to be cooked medium-well. The burgers came out juicy and simply perfect. There was no hint of pink. On top of that, they were delicious. I loved the very crisp onion straws against the tender mushroom and the light char on the burger. The Jalapeños really made the other burger I had. They were crispy and not too spicy, with a nice zing! The pretzel bread was very soft(sometimes at other places like Corner Bakery, I scrape the roof of my mouth on the pretzel bread, but not here!), buttery, and really set the burger apart from a standard one. Worth the price at $ 10.99. Oh, the burgers also came with delicious fries. I seriously loved them and am craving them now! Nicely cut, a crisp golden color, and not too salty. My mother-in-law had the Broccoli Chicken Alfredo. I did not have any, but it looked like a generous portion. The sauce seemed to have covered every inch of the dish and it looked rich and filling. She enjoyed it!

One star is too many. Our bartender was there 10% of our stay. Apps took 30 minutes to come out and they were overcooked and tasteless. I sent them all back. Then I ordered wings. Right after, our bartender went outside for a cigarette. I was done. I wanted to cancel my wing order and just leave. But, while the bartender was outside, sitting on the bench smoking, I couldnt get anyone else to cancel my order. No one was attentive. Im sure the manager wasn’t there because eveyone was in their own little world. The hostess was sitting in a booth talking to another waitress and only got up to greet people after they had been standing there for a couple of minutes. Terrible. Awful. Pathetic. I finally left and went elsewhere to eat! stay A-W-A-Y! Didn’t even get water.
