Very good food at an exceptional value. Fast service if you only have time for a quick lunch, this is the place.

I really liked this place! Got the chicken and steak combo for $ 7.75 and was greeted with delicious and tender meats, fresh and well seasoned veggies and yummy noodles. Think Sarku but better. And they have a buy 5 get one stamp card. Nom nommy!

Good tasty and quick chicken Hibachi. I wouldn’t get sushi rolls anywhere aside from a sushi place and expect them to be good. So I have not tried their sushi nor do I plan on it. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean.

Been here several times, but never because I craved their food… My dad was so excited for this place to open but my entire family was actually disappointed after tasting our food. We all got different hibachis so we could taste all of them. Portions may be generous, but they were bland and they don’t make you feel satiated. I don’t come here for the hibachis anymore. I do come for their $ 5 sushi rolls. It’s comparable to the quality you find at grocery stores, but cheaper since most grocery stores sell it for $ 6 – 8. Their specialty rolls are $ 8 though, so if you’re going to get a specialty roll, you’re actually better off at Dawson’s(a short walk away) where it’s the same price and better quality. You get what you pay for. Not great, but a good place to save some money if you’re feeling sushi that day.

Chipotle and Sarku got really drunk one night and had a one night stand. Sarku got pregnant… Chipotle denied that the baby was his. Claiming that Quickway didn’t have the freshness and quality of ingredients that Chipotle was known for. Sarku took Chipotle on Maury to take a test. Saying the baby looks just like Chipotle. «He has his nose!!!» Said Sarku. Maury: «The results are in. Chipotle, when it comes to nine month old Quickway Hibachi… YOUARENOTTHEFATHER!» *Chipotle dances on stage* *Sarku runs backstage crying* (Next episode, Sarku brings Panda Express for a test)

Food was terrible! The rice was hard and under cooked and the shrimp was almost tasteless.

Hm I came here after my exams, and wasn’t too impressed. We were happy they opened at 11, as many other places in RTC were closed. We walk here, order our meal, and they make it fresh in front of u(a plus), but it’s not exactly hibachi. You order off a menu what you want, which I didn’t like. Anyways, the food wasn’t even fantastic. IMO Panda Express is better…

The food on the menu looks great but once you order(hibachi or bento) you get the same quality food as Panda Express, greasy and oily and stale. My friend ordered the tofu because she’s vegetarian and we tasted chicken and meat flavoring in it as if it were steamed with the meat. The sushi is at par here. Also there’s a creeper dude behind the counter who won’t stop staring at our table. It’s real annoying lol.

Quickway Hibachi reminds me of airport Chinese food — it’s not great but it’s not too bad. On a whim(and in a hurry), we stopped by Quickway when we decided to get some bubble tea to go from Kung Fu Tea(next door). Given the wait for a bubble tea(~10 min), we had plenty of time to pick up a combo to go and we went with the hibachi chicken with noodles + double meat. The double meat(for $ 1.47 or something like that extra) was definitely worth it, because we were able to share a ~$ 7 meal that served us well for a few hours. However the taste of the sauce was bland, which automatically make the chicken taste bland. And the veggies are what you expect — somewhat soggy, somewhat crunchy, somewhat salty. The chicken itself however was cooked great, with the right amount of tenderness and fat/lean ratio, so I’d suggest not to order with sauce, or have sauce on the side. They also have a frequent card that gets you a free meal after purchasing five. Decent promotion if you work nearby. In the end, it’s great for a quick to-go place, but it’s definitely on the airport Chinese food level, so it’s highly contextual whether it’s a 1 or 5 star.

Quickway is not too far of a walk from Rockville Town Center and right next door to Kung Fu Tea(who wouldn’t want boba & milk tea to go with a Japanese hibachi meal?). People have said it previously, but it’s similar to the Sarku grill you can find at a mall food court. Quickway, however, has more options than Sarku because you can get your choice of white or fried rice, and a variety of protein(chicken, beef, shrimp, and salmon). They also have vegetables and tofu if you don’t want the rice/noodle options or any of the meats. On my first visit, I got the salmon & shrimp combo. The fish was a bit hard and dry, but the shrimp made up for it because it was cooked well. Make sure you get the«Yummy Sauce» because it’s the best add-on to your meal. It makes everything taste SOGOOD. The food is prepared in a timely manner on their hibachi grill. Once your order is ready, one of the workers calls your number and then quickly garnishes the food for you with chives, sesame seeds, and a teriyaki glaze. It’s a pretty solid place for a lunch break or if you don’t want to go to a sit-down restaurant in town center. I would recommend it, but I’d stick with either the chicken or the shrimp(or why not both?). Bonus: they have a stamp card. Buy 5 meals, get a chicken hibachi meal free!

Quick way is a new addition to the Rockville Town Square area. It is located across the street of Town Square next to Kung Fu Tea. The interior of the restaurant is casual. They have booths, low tables, and high top tables. But there stools are to die for, extreme cushion wrapped with a velvety textured cloth. To order you walk to the left side where the cashier is. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi costing roughly $ 8.00. It comes with your choice of rice(fried or white) as well as vegetables(which are my favorite). After you order, they prepare your food in a good line where you can watch the food pile up on the plate. When your food finished they call your number and you have to make your way to the right of the counter. The exceptionally nice lady, who is always there when I go, asks you if you’d like teriyaki sauce, onions, and sesame seeds. Your food is also served with a side of yum yum sauce. The chicken and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The rice and vegetables were great as well. I cannot think of any negative features of this restaurant. When you order your food they also give you a quick way card where you buy 4 and the 5th is free. Let’s just say I’m on my 4th meal already… A MUSTGO!

Ok, think Sarku, but just a blander version that’s a little slower. It’s a new Cali chain addition to the complex that hosts the popular KF Tea, and now a spa and in the future a bakery. It makes sense. Quick lunch, then quick tea next door. The parking doesn’t make a lot of sense to me for that complex — you need to drive into the Social Security Administrations center and loop through the lot to behind Quickway, and then walk to it. Inside Quickway, there’s plenty of seating. The beige soft stools are too high for my petite figure and too far from the table though, so FYI to shorties like me. Process: place your order and pay. Move across and watch the grill, then wait to be called. The chicken entrée is exactly the same as Sarku, just a little bit less of everything. The veggies you can tell is some pre-packaged cabbage carrot mix that they throw on the grill, paired with white rice(or fried) and chicken teriyaki. At the pickup area they’ll ask if you want extra sauce(we opt without, it’s flavorful enough) and sesame seeds /scallions. They throw in a little container of their«yummy» sauce, which really is just a glorified mayonnaise(probably has a hint of siracha). The bento entrée has all of that in addition to two mini veggie egg rolls, two deep fried dumplings and four pieces of California roll that they make in house. The rolls and dumplings come straight from the freezer to the fryer. Seeing them pull it out like that made it much less appetizing… And then I saw them make sushi out in the open. They straight up dumped a cooked vat of rice(lightly browned at bottom), spread it out without care to temperature, and poured in a ton of vinegar. That’s quick sushi. It’s quick, cheap takeout for those on the go who can’t make it to Sarku and want something easy. Not true Japanese hibachi, though I guess anything with a hot grill with soy sauce is called that these days.

Plain. The meat is low quality and everything is just unremarkable. I had the chicken, SO had the beef. It’s cheap and has protein. That’s really all I can say about it.

Had lunch here today during my 2nd visit — this time, I had the chicken hibachi with noodles, which was a steal at $ 5(though this is the intro price — regular price is $ 6. The chicken was flavorful, especially with the yum yum sauce. However, the noodles were a bit greasy, a sentiment shared by several coworkers. I recommend going with the rice.

Food was okay. You get what you pay for. Walking in, the first thing I think of is Chipotle minus the giant amounts of people since I went at around 3:30pm. The service was what caused the two stars. The young lady taking the orders did her job fine, but I did not feel welcome, which I would expect in a new location. She couldn’t speak english very well and it was difficult for me or my family to understand her. The food was made at its speed and given to us in a relatively quick manner. There were a few tables sitting around that were dirty, and although the tables weren’t needed for patrons, it is not a welcoming sight. A worker was standing behind the counter on her phone when I looked over during my meal. I then looked around and counted about 3 dirty tables. All in all, the food is okay. A decent amount for a decent price. The service is poor at best, and there appears to be a huge lack in management. The chances of me going back are slim.

I visited on Sunday afternoon after I grew tired of waiting for Kung Fu Tea. I’m reading comparisons to Chipotle, but I would call this a glorified Sarku Japan location. This location doing a grand opening special: Chicken Teriyaki meal for $ 4.95 plus tax. I was a bit disappointed in how much meat I got, and she told me it would cost $ 1.50 if I wanted more. Probably a good deal for lunch, but I’m not sure if I will be a consistent customer.

At this place, they cook the food behind the counter(hibachi style) and then serve it to you. I went twice because it is quick(at the times I went) and affordable for this area. I went for lunch and it is best to get there before 12:15pm, if you don’t want to deal with a line. The hibachi choices they have are tofu, beef, chicken, shrimp and salmon or you can do a Quickway Combo of chicken & shrimp, chicken & beef, salmon & shrimp or beef & shrimp. You can get those choices served with mixed vegetables, rice or noodles. On one visit, I tried chicken & shrimp with rice and another time I just did the chicken and noodles and also 4 pieces of spring rolls. In addition to those dishes, you are also served with what looks like steamed cabbage, broccoli and onions(I may be wrong on one of the items here — onions). There are other items on the menu that I have not yet tried — Bento box or Sushi /Specialty Rolls. Both meals were okay. They both came with a peach colored sauce(I wonder if that is the Yummy Sauce they have on their menu… hmmm). This sauce is a light sweet taste — I am not sure what to use the sauce on, but so far I have tried it with the chicken and it tastes good. The spring rolls that I had were given to me in a styrofoam container with no sauce(I went back to request some of the sweet sauce that comes in the little packets). The rolls ended up tasting cold as if it were sitting there and they handed it to me(me no likey). On your visit to this place, be sure to get a frequent visit card(even if you order sushi, still request the card — it will not be stamped for that). How it works is that every time you get a hibachi meal, your card is stamped — buy 5 of those and you get 1 free hibachi chicken. Make sure to check that they have stamped it for each visit — on my second visit I handed the cashier my frequent card and she handed it back to me without stamping it(I guess they are new to the process like we are). In the end, she stamped it. Most of the tables in this place are circular with 4 stools each that are bolted to the ground. The stools seem a bit far from each table(due to this, it would have been nice if we could have had the flexibility to move these stools). There are also 3 bench-like tables that looks like they can seat 4 people each. They also have a few tables with 6 chairs each(these chairs are not bolted to the ground, but the tables are). They also have outdoor seating as well(with umbrellas). There is a driveway that has been added to take you to the back of this restaurant — I think it may be underground parking(not sure) as I do not see a lot behind it. If you want quick and affordable, then try this place out. For this area, it is not too often where you can get a meal(chicken & noodles), a side order(4 piece spring rolls — mini) and a small drink(that looks medium) for under $ 10. Note: This place is not located in Rockville Town Center, but a few blocks from it on N Washington Street.

I got the Salmon Lover and Green Dragon. Salmon is not fresh at all. Tempura shrimp is pretty small for thr roll. I recommend getting the cooked food. My friend got hibachi, which looked pretty good.
