Pizza Palace

Very disappointing. Ordered 2 pizzas, and they said 20 mins. I waited 40 mins to pick up, as I didn’t want to wait. They had not even started my order yet when I arrived. When I told the man working at the checkout that I had to be at work in less than an hour and needed to feed my children, not only was he not apologetic, he actually laughed. They seemed very frazzled there. I also note that it took 10 mins for him to ring up the person in front of me.

I’ve yet to have worse pizza than this. To quote Kevin on The Office, the pizza here tastes like a «hot circle of garbage.» I used to get infuriated as a kid whenever my mom brought back pizza from this place. It’s not pizza. If you want cheap pizza, just do Domino’s. They’re not much better, but they’re definitely a notch above… And that says something.

Do not order from Pizza Palace– worst service and food in Montgomery County. Case in point, on ¹¹⁄₂₄ our order took 1 ½ hrs to arrive, they were not answering phone for over 30 mins when we were trying to status our order (they never did). When the driver finally arrived, we were missing a salad and the steak and cheese was burnt and cold. The lamb in the Gyros was scarce and burnt. Driver had no explanation. We will never order from there again. They deserve negative stars based on our experience. Jim Foley-​North Potomac

I must give them an extra star for consistency. I had a chance to speak 3 languages here English, Russian and Hindi. There is every possibility of a great experience as there is of things going slightly wrong but they make sure you are satisfied as I have found going here and ordering from here for over a decade.
Have not tried their kebabs and can speak for their pizza. Only wish that they will have a whole wheat pizza in the future.

I used to order from here a lot.
The problem is the delivery. The drivers are down right creepy, always asking for extra tips (not having any change).
On several occasions, I told the person on the phone that I needed the pizza in 40 min. No problem – he assured me. Well, after 40 minutes, I had to call and cancel my 8 pizzas. I ended up just making mac-​n-​cheese for the hungry kids. Will I ever order from them again? Probably. but I use other pizza places now.

Greek Pizza was pretty good — not greasy! Got a garden salad — it was real fresh. Delivery time was about what they said. I will definitely try this place again

We have now ordered from Pizza Palace 5 or 6 times so I feel I have an idea of their baseline service and quality.
Food: I have to say, the pizza and the wings were quite good. Enjoyed every meal we had. My middle school aged daughter — a big fan of wings — loves the wings here. The pizza itself won’t change your life or anything, but it was fresh, not too oily, and tasted great.
Service: the last time we ordered delivery, they messed up the order (wrong toppings — not the end of the world but a mistake nonetheless). Mistakes happen — the real test is how someone deals with it and how they try to fix it. After I called to let them know, they offered to rush over another pizza (free of course). When I told them it was too late, the kids had already started eating, they promised to help me out the next time. Fast forward a week or so and I ordered again. I went to pick it up this time and mentioned the issue I had last time. The gentleman working there gave me a free a pizza on my word alone (he wasn’t there for the earlier problem and I had no proof). That was super classy. Little things like that show you what kind of people you’re dealing with. And these people working there were incredibly nice and friendly.
Though spots like PIzza CS and 2 Amys have nothing to fear from these guys, I will say that Pizza Palace is now my go-​to delivery spot.

I ordered online and had my order delivered promptly. Good online system, fast delivery, friendly driver, and all items ordered were delivered and tasted good. They even bagged the cold and hot items in seperate bags and provided paper plates, forks and napkins (you would be surprised how often other places forget to do these things). I am very happy with my order today.
I ordered the chicken parm (without the subroll) + speghetti and meatballs + a garden salad, and the tiramusu. The chicken parm was really good, the speghetti sauce is slightly sweet with a hint of spice and they top it with lots of cheese. The garden salad is basic (lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, tomotoe, red onions) and I am disappointed that the tarimasu is prepackaged.
Overall, I am happy with this order. You don’t find to many places that offer online ordering and delivery.

I love pizza palace. Great family owned place. Whether I call it in or order online i get the same great fast service. Love this place… some of the other reviews are not correct! Everyone makes mistakes… Great price, fast delivery!

The food was unimpressive. The pizza was mediocre and the wings are kind of a joke (small drumsticks with a generic sauce packet for you to «make» yourself) for the prices they offer.
The delivery guy was borderline rude and fumbled around trying to find my receipt (which ended up belonging to someone else) while being on his cellphone the entire time.
Save your money and hit up a Safeway instead.

A frozen pizza tastes better, and the wings were disappointing! This place is overpriced and not professional. AVOID THIS PLACE.

This place SUCKS. They messed up my order during the Skins game last Sunday.
I’d rather get a frozen pizza from the grocery store than eat this garbage!
