I come here for lunch sometimes, generally when it’s cold out and I could use a little something to help warm me up. I’ll be honest, I can’t say if this is the best phở in town, because this is the only phở restaurant I’ve been to. Ever. I know, I know lol. But it’s delicious enough that it keeps me coming back and I haven’t had a complaint yet! The phở comes out pretty fast. And it’s still hot by the time I get it back to my desk at work! I like the way that they package it for you to go. With all the fixin’s on the side… the sprouts, the basil, the lemon wedge and the brown sauce. Meat and noodles in one container and the broth in another. My 2 faves are P17(slices of chicken white meat phở) and P9(Slices of well-done beef brisket, well-done beef flank steak, and beef shirt flank steak phở.) If you’re looking for quick and hot lunch(or even dinner,) I totally recommend this place!

Ordered for delivery two times and both times the food has arrived luke warm to just cold. I have this place the benefit of the doubt but after the second time it felt as if the appetizers were taken straight out of the fridge. The broth was barely warm. I do like the tastes of the food so this review is solely based on my delivery experience. After receiving the cold food I’m kinda turned off with this place though.

I usually go to Phở 75 in rockville and was recently introduced to pholuscious. I can definitely say their broth and meat are Great tasting as are their egg rolls and spring rolls. If you’re in the area and looking for a Vietnamese restaurant this should definitely be on your list!

This place is quite close to my residence which makes me happy. The service was very good. The phở was not very«wow» and was more«soup» than phở… which is just ok.

First time; ordered spicy chicken noodle soup– was not disappointed. Clean, delicate broth with a kick. Came in hoping for a soothing and comforting meal and that is what I got! Pleasant service staff, too.

I had the vegetarian phở, after doing a takeout order Sunday night. It was so delicious. I had plenty left for lunch today. It’s light, but filling, and the bean sprouts, peppers and basil give the soup a nice flavor and texture. This is about a 15 minute drive from my house, but who cares. It’s so good! The spring rolls in the rice paper, with peanut sauce dipping are a delicious appetizer. This food is new to me, so I’m not sure what to say other than go here and eat. Big portions, fresh and delicious!

First time here. Great hosts and love the food! My wife and I live outside the area now and we love coming home to try new places. PHO definitely hit the spot. After eating dinner we ordered more to go!!!

Haven’t been here in a while and the PHO is still excellent! They seem to have developed a loyal following, with a growing menu, specials and lots of drink options. I had the Phở Tai, as usual, and it is the most tender eye round I have ever had, at any Viet place. Not a chewy piece of meat in the entire bowl. Excellent. All the dishes I saw going past to other tables looked great. As tempted as I am to try something else, I’ll be hard pressed to get anything but the PHO! Good stuff.

Today was a very busy day. working on my car. Didn’t just do a simple oil change, I actually did 3 to perform an oil flush using one of Gunks products and it went over well. I was pretty tired after working for 5 hours and a little bit into a chilly night and felt like having Phở. That’s when I realized here was a local one that I had never been to so I headed over with a friend. When we arrived, we got seated and got the menus quickly. The food even came out fast. The quality of the food itself was good and pricing was good for the amount of food as well. The part that really bothered me was getting out of here because I still had a lot more work to do. When they saw we were done, they brought the check over quickly. They spent 15 – 20 minutes to pick it up which was a huge waste of time. There are other locations that take less than 20 minutes to drive to and have better quality. It’s up to you where you go. Will I come here again? Probably not but doesn’t make this the worst place ever.

I love spring rolls, the fried ones, and this is the only place I know of in this area where they still do it with rice paper. The other places do it with the same dough than the egg rolls because as some stated«it’s easier». Nice people, good food, and I am a fan of Phở, and grilled shrimps or meat, so for me it’s the perfect place. You can, on top of it, order it online, and pick it up at a specific time. Just great people, and great food.

I had the Bun Rieu. The broth is light, not as flavorful as the ones I have had in California. Spring roll is ok. Not as good as phở nom nom or phở 75. However, I will return to try other dishes. I do wish they have outdoor seating for pet owners. For now, just 3 stars.

This place is located close to my house and is a great go-to for when my friends are in the area. Customer service is great and very friendly! Try the spring rolls! Bubble tea is good but definitely on the sweeter side. The phở is yummy and the portion size is good. Worth the money, and they do take-out which is a plus!

Found this place on Unilocal!Love their bun bo hue soup here, I have visited over a dozen of Phở restaurants in MD and the broth is a 5 stars here(Just like how my mom would delivered it) They had the right amount of noodles and meat so that was good thing to keep in mind. We also order a bowl of Bun Rieu, it was also very outstanding(just like how my mom would delivered it) In the Bun Rieu, they have the Vietnamese ham, about 3 jumbo shrimps &3 pieces of tofo. They also had the right amount of noodles. Both bowls were big and just right for us, we even got full before finishing it! Lastly, to top our meals we order a Taro smoothie for our dessert, it was delicious and concentrated! In conclusion, I will definitely visit again for their soups and try other dished on their menu. The only NEGATIVE feedback was our waitress, she was being pushy during the duration of us trying to figure our orders. She kept coming back every 2 minutes when expected we are new customers and was trying to take our time to browse the menu. After we ordered she disappeared! Found that annoying :(

I live super close to the shopping center, but this is only my second time trying this place. Came with my parents the first time and we got Bun bo hue and one of their other beef noodle soups. It was alright. I wasn’t blown away, and there wasn’t anything too bad to remark either. It was a pleasant visit. Went there today for lunch with my parents and sister and it was quite disappointing. We got some egg rolls, which come 2 in an order. Upon splitting the second egg roll, which was impossible because we came to see a giant piece of plastic inside the egg roll when we slid the halves apart. We called over the manager/waitress, who took the plate, said«aiyaaaa» as she looked at it, and then disappeared to the back. No apology. As they came out with the rest of our food she informed us that they were going to give us a fresh order. Note: she didn’t say they would discount it or comp the order. At that point I didn’t even want to eat another order of egg rolls. It ended up coming out super greasy anyways. The egg roll wasn’t anything special. Didn’t really seem to have flavor and neither did the sauce that came with it; the sauce was just really watery. I got the Bön bo hue, which was not spicy in the slightest. It seemed to be packed with«flavor». I say that in quotes because, yes, I got some of that meaty flavor, but then a lot of it must have been salt/msg too because after eating mine, I tried some phở, and I could not taste anything even though my mom’s initial reaction was that the phở was salty. They gave a piece of pork on the bone, and I come to expect that to taste really soft and tender since it has been simmering in the soup, but nope. The skin was ok– but my dad’s is even more tender, but the meat itself was somehow kind of tough and dry. Also I’m really picky about water, and at first it tasted fine, but after they gave us a refill, the water had this moldy aftertaste. Like even worse tasting than regular tap; even the ice couldn’t mask it. Um, this isn’t DC; water should not taste moldy. Even though I live so close, I doubt I’ll be coming back here to get a phở fix, even for the convenience.

Initially tried phở when I was in college. This location has fresh items and pretty quick carryout. I’ve always called ahead and picked up for carry out never actually ate in. I asked for recomendations from the lady at the front desk and she couldnt really help me she said everything is good.

I’ve been trying to recover from a cold for over a week. I normally don’t eat phở but I thought it would help with my recovery. Unfortunately, everything tasted bland to me but I don’t know if it is because I’m sick or because it really was bland. The spring rolls were the typical with the fish sauce for dipping. It was decent but I’ve had better. The phở(p11) was alright with the beef eye round that was sliced thin enough but the flank was a bit chewy. My niece’s egg noodle duck soup wasn’t what we were expecting. The broth was really dark but the duck meat was tender enough. Well, overall we’ve had better. The service was good. The waiter was attentive and our waters were refilled often without having to ask. However, I think it’s annoying when they give you your change in coins. Really? We got, 4 quarters and a dollar coin. Next time, I think I will head to Va. There’s Phở Sate in Falls Church that is supposed to be awesome.

Supposedly a Viet/Asian fusion place. Food wasn’t as expected(ordered a Roast Duck Noodle Bowl, got a Boiled Duck Noodle Bowl with something that resembles the same soup base used in Cantonese Beef Brisket Noodle Bowls). The bowl comes with one duck leg with the thigh attached, Bok choy, scallions, and egg noodles(can be substituted). Leg had no flavor, skin was mushy and falls off easily, so I’m suggesting that it was boiled instead of roasted. Mango Lassi was disappointing, so I suggest to skip it unless you prefer a more dairy/condensed milk taste. The Roast Quail appetizer was perhaps the only decent dish that was enjoyable(two birds served in halves with pepper salt on the side). Skin is crispy enough, and the marinade is saturated so the meat is tasty(like duck). Decent place to do a mini get together, but I’ll say don’t expect high quality food to be served.

2.5 stars for mediocre chicken phở. The noodles weren’t al dente so they got soggy quick. The chicken was spongy and sliced too thick — reminded me of processed meat. They do accept credit cards but like Stephanie N. suggested: Phở Nam is a better choice. Friendly service and a nice restaurant — I would come back but not for phở.

Phở’s always a great choice for a meal when you’re on the go. I’ve been here 7 times so I must like it, right? Pholuscious Vietnamese Grill is one of my favorite places to go in Montgomery County, MD. The restaurant looks modern — with the green walls, metal sculptures on the wall, wooden tables, and white plastic chairs and is clean. Within minutes of entering the restaurant, you are seated and given menus. My favorite items on the menu are: –Crispy Spring Rolls –P#1(Slices of beef eye-of-round steak, well done beef flank steak, fatty beef brisket, soft beef tendon, and beef bible tripe in Vietnamese Noodle Soup) –Grilled Lemongrass Beef(R#2) /Chicken(R#3) on Rice or Vermicelli(which comes with rice /rice vermicelli, fresh bean sprouts, lettuce, Asian basil, topped with crushed peanuts, and accompanied by fish sauce) –P#17(Slices of chicken white meat) However, I wish that they could make a Chicken Phở with either just dark meat or a mix of dark and white meat and come in two sizes — regular or large(like what they serve at Phở 75) I have yet to come back and try some of their traditional dishes and desserts!
