The Phở Soup portions are very large but the soup itself was nothing special. The small is probably enough for most people. The phở was bland. I needed to add a lot of seasoning to it. The usual sauces are on all the tables. The meat in the soup was tasteless and tough. We had both eye of round and brisket. The meat seemed like commercial cold cuts and not the quality sliced meat we expected. My daughters Bò Lúk Lāc(G7) was delicious and better than any of the 4 Phở soups.

One of the best phone and bahn mi spots in upper Rockville. The broth is on point and doesn’t lose its luster as it cools like some of the other Viet counterparts. Great service and a line out the door at lunch so u know their doing it right.

They do a pretty good job here. Eat in can be busy but every time I’ve ordered take out it was ready to go when I arrived. Phở hits the spot!

I was looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant to go to on a rainy day closer to home than driving to Eden Center. We decided to go to Phở Nom Nom. Being a Vietnamese, I was highly disappointed. The service was fast but the food was not impressive. The food was more Americanized than authentic Vietnamese. We ordered Phở dac biet and seafood hu tieu. The phở dac biet was okay, edible but nothing special. I wouldn’t order the seafood hu tieu again. For about $ 14, you get a large bowl of bland soup with three shrimps and several frozen seafood meatballs, which you can buy from H-Mart for $ 5.99 a pound.

Came here during lunch and every table was full. Had the Phở with top sirloin and it was heavenly. The broth was addictive and I want to bottle some of it for latter. This is a simple place, prices okay, and quick service. Will definitely return!!!

I love this place! I haven’t had bad service here yet. Since October I have been going to get some phở almost every Friday and every Tuesday and maybe even Thursday. I am obsessed with this place. Let me tell you I am vegetarian, and they have quite a few options with the vegetarian selection. I love the tofu rolls, I think they’re called summer rolls, so delicious! I get the vegetarian soup and make it extra extra spicy. And the tofu banh mi is soo good too. Amazing flavors and u get ur money’s worth. I recommend this to everyone! Enjoy!

Phở Nom Nom is awesome because it’s one of the few Vietnamese places in the area that offers veggie broth instead of the traditional beef broth for phở. Their phở is yummy and prices are great too. I also highly recommend their vermicelli wrap! Yum yum yum. Another home favorite. I’ll definitely be back again… and again… and again… Haha

I really enjoyed my Sunday lunch at Phở Nom Nom! One of the better Phở restaurants in Rockville area. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue soup(asked for regular phở noodles), grilled pork Vermicelli noodle dish, as well as the grilled chicken banh mi. Everything was delicious! The broth for the Bun Bo Hue was so satisfying and refreshing, perfect for a cold day. It didn’t taste too salty so I really liked that. Vermicelli was fresh and everything just went well together. Generous portion size. Banh-mi was good although there was just a lot of bread. I had to rip a lot of it off. Staff was quick and friendly. Parking is kind of hard to find during busy hours.

I come here for the non conventional meals S2 and S4, they are the other traditional servings from Vietnam, aside from the very popular Phở. s2 or Hieu Tieu is jam packed with flavor, it is pork and seafood based. When you order, you can request for it to come in a soup or dry. I eat nothing else when I come here!

BP and I came in with the intention of buying two different types of Bahn Mi, but actually just split one Chicken. The Bahn Mi are on a separate menu and it was frustrating that we were not told this or given both menus at the beginning. Anyway, we left about 10 minutes later with our Bahn Mi in hand as a carry-out. I did not like the amount of onions in the sandwich or the quality of meat. I don’t like dark meat or tendons/veins in the meat. This was all the meat the sandwich consisted of. Some bites were pretty spicy and others were not. BP and I both liked the soft French bread the sandwich was made on, but that was about it!

This is one of my favorite phở places(if not my favorite) that I’ve found in the MD suburbs. It’s broth is flavorful, the meat is satisfying in both tastiness and amount, and the price is reasonable(especially if you get the large bowl). I’ve also had banh mi(chicken and pork) and bubble tea from here, and they were satisfying. No complaints on my part!

Now I really understand why this place has 300 Unilocalers standing behind it. The phở broth is DELICIOUS! It’s comparable to the phở broth that I’ve come to know and love from the Bay Area — home of the most authentic phở spots in the US. We also had the com tam dishes, but it’s nothing compared to the phở. If you want great phở, but don’t want to drive all the way to VA, this place is the place for you! I recommend coming in the off-hours though. This place get packed!

Great for vegetarians! Veggie phở, veggie rolls, and even though it’s not on the menu, vegetarian banh mi. The tofu banh mi is so delicious. It’s done a little differently than other places. The tofu is marinated in a savory sauce. It’s absolutely addicting.

The restaurant is very small, about 10 tables which is good a a quick meal. I had the chicken phở– could use more seasoning on the chicken and in the broth but still very tasty. The small is quite enough to fill you up!

What should I do? Lol … I order a small size. Then I got it like that. I paid 8,50 dollar. I can get a large size with that price in another restaurant. Lol

I was greatly surprised with Phở Nom Nom. My dining partner had been here two years back and commented on their phở being a disappointment. We both agreed after dining that it was one of the better Viet establishments we have eaten at in both food and service. He ordered the lemongrass vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken. I ordered the seafood«phở» soup, on the back of the menu. His dish(which is my longtime favorite) was one of the best I have had. The chicken was grilled to perfection, with plenty of flavor to accompany the juicy meat. The restaurant did not skimp on vegetables and herbs for his dish. My seafood«phở» broth was light and flavorful. I enjoyed it, but have no others to compare it against. I don’t know if I would order it again, on the pretense of wanting to try other dishes. Overall their menu is fairly standard. I did notice the veggies were very fresh. The jalapeños had a bite! Service was amazing. Dining at Asian establishments, I expect poor or subpar service. They were on the ball here. Definitely impressed.

This is actually my second time coming here. Since I am a vegetarian, I ordered the C2 phở. The noodles were nice, however, the soup was lacking in flavor. It felt like water and no taste. I know that most people here probably eat the phở with beef or meat, but if you are a vegetarian, then get the other options. Get the Iced Thai Tea though. It is really good. I would like to come here again for Phở. The bad side about this place is that it is rather small and parking can be a real chore.

We went to this place after hiking. The place is kinda small but it was swamped with customers standing in line waiting to be seated for lunch even at 3 pm. We luckily found a seat the moment we walked in and placed our order immediately. We were served immediately with sprouts, lemon and fresh mint. I ordered veggie phở and my mind was blown with the first slurp! There was a burst of fresh flavor. The phở was very light and full of veggies and refreshing! It was the best phở I ever had. Perfect justification to «nom nom» 8.50 $ for a bowl of phở enough for making two meals for me. What a steal! Both me and my wallet were very happy after the lunch! I strongly recommend trying this place as you will fall in love with their food at once.

3.5 stars. omnomnom. I finished up the entire bowl, down to the last drop of soup, but I’m not sure if this was a good or bad thing. The phở here definitely has a delicious and homemade flavor to it. It’s the kind of soup that you don’t need to add hoisin or sirarcha to. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the meats were tender. BUT the price was a bit hefty. Phở nom nom offers a «create your own bowl» option where you can chose up to 5 meats at $ 7.25 for a small, $ 8.75 for a large, and $ 10.95 for a super large. But what bothered me was that meatballs cost $ 2.95! Those better be some magical meatballs… that was unheard of for me. Most of the phở places I go to charge $ 1.50−2.00 for meatballs. The price for the phở itself was also a bit on the pricier side, considering that their«small» size is maybe about 15% smaller than a regular sized bowl elsewhere(estimating from the fact that I was able to finish the whole bowl without taking a break). Phở Nom Nom without a doubt lives up to its name, but the prices knocked down their rating for me. If i was in the area, I would come back, but I’d rather stick to the more reasonably priced phở places near home that are equally as good.

4.5. A phở place that takes credit card? Count me in! Despite the questionable name«nom nom», this place offers solid food. My family is a Phở 75 regular, but I may have to introduce them to this place from now on. I read reviews saying this place got packed quickly, so I was nervous when I showed up at 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. To my surprise, parking was easy and the restaurant was only 1⁄3 occupied. When I left at 1:30pm, however, there was a line of people by the opposite wall and starting to go out the door, and maneuvering my car out of my spot in the tiny lot was a struggle. So come before 1pm if on a Saturday and perhaps carpool to avoid stressful times in the mini parking lot. The service here isn’t that attentive so you have to flag them down sometimes, but our food came out promptly so I didn’t mind. My friend and I ordered the A5(grilled shrimp summer roll), the phở, and the bun bo hue. A5: I haven’t seen many places grilling the shrimp in these rolls before, so I was pleasantly surprised. It added another layer of flavor that I enjoyed, and I would definitely order this again over the regular rolls. Phở: I only had a bit of my friend’s but the broth was very flavorful, I could probably drink the whole thing. It’s cool that they offer small, large, and extra large sizes. The small was big enough for a chill weekend lunch if you’re not looking to head to food coma right away. Bun bo Hue: To be adventurous(not really), I decided to take the suggestions of a few Unilocalers and try the bun bo hue instead of the normal phở. I loved that the broth was spicier but not too spicy, and it was full of flavor. I kept on drinking the soup and had to stop myself from finishing. I’m not a fan of the type of the noodles they use though(just my personal preference), which is ticker and rounder. I would order this again, and maybe see if I can swap the noodles to the phở noodles or the egg noodles. All in all, I would definitely come here again. Great food, more choices, and credit cards! Another plus is that it doesn’t smell as strongly as other phở restaurants, woot woot!
