I love Dr. Fard! She is helpful and very good at what she does. I would recommend her to everyone and anyone looking for a family dentist.

I procrastinated getting my teeth fixed for years, because I was terrified of the eventual cost, but also was worried about being treated with contempt by dental professionals. Eventually I got my courage together and asked for recommendations, and I am so grateful that a co-worker recommended Dr. Fard’s practice. She was kind and understanding, explained my options and recommended an oral surgeon with whom she would work to fix my mouth. I ended up getting full upper implants, and spent eight hours in the surgical chair. Dr. Fard was with me the whole time, and she was so great, they had arranged everything efficiently on short notice. The followup was perfect, and she helped me through the healing process. My mouth feels and looks very natural now. I am so grateful to Dr. Fard and her staff, and I wholeheartedly recommend their practice.

I called about a week before my eventual appointment, and was told by the polite receptionist that they would call back with a scheduled time. The call came the next day, and my appointment would be early the following week. I accidentally overslept for my appointment… which turned out to be no problem! Initially meant for a 10:15 appointment, they called me around 10:45, woke me up, and promptly got me in at 11:15. The office was cozy, and after filling out some paperwork, I was immediately shown to my chair. After a couple of perfunctory x-rays, Dr. Fard herself came and did the cleaning and checkup. She asked me many questions about my eating habits, my dental history, and her thoughts on the general health of my teeth and gums. I asked a couple of questions, and she gave thorough answers. Throughout the cleaning, she continued to describe what she was seeing, and made sure I was comfortable(I was) at all times. She was very professional, and I was very impressed that she did the work herself. I will definitely be returning to this office, not least because it’s close by, but also because they were very professional and thorough.

I paid $ 420 for a crown in April, the rest was contracted with my insurance company(they were to pay $ 600). In October Dr. Fard’s office contacted me saying I exhausted my dental benefits for the year so insurance wouldn’t pay any more. No problem, I could pay that balance. Oh, but guess what — Dr. Fard hiked the price up over $ 1,000 saying she could charge me as if I were uninsured instead of the original amount contracted with BCBS. These are unfair pricing practices and even after offering me discounts, it was far above the contracted amount that I was prepared to pay. Just because they’re allowed by the insurance company to jack up prices doesn’t make it the right thing to do. I have dropped this to one star now. I requested copies of my xrays and before they had freely emailed them to my endodontist without an authorization form or additional money, but now they want me to fill out a form and pay even more. Anything they can do to extort more money from you I suppose. I’m going to the Better Business Bureau and on this.

I had first given Fard Dentistry a moderate review, but need to amend it. The office is not up to date with newest equipment, but I can accept that. However when my husband needed his wisdom teeth removed, they sent us to with copies of the x-rays that were taken over 5 years ago and we had transferred to the practice. He had new x-rays taken there, but she did not send those. This could have been avoided if the office had up to date medical record system and organized patient records. I work in health care and this is a sign of mismanagement. The worst part of this is that within our 18 months of going to Fard Dentistry– I repeated witnessed the staff being spoken down to and treated in appropriately. More than 4 separate occasions I either called and moved an appointment and/or canceled it– only to get a call from Fard to verify the schedule, and then put down her staff to me on the phone. I would say hired contentment staff, but I don’t think anyone should be treated like that. Bottom line– go somewhere else.
