A-1 Acupuncture

I have had a few different acupuncturists both here and in Connecticut. I find Wun Hee is really effective. She is spiritual, which I think supports her healing abilities. She is intuitive, seems to know what I need, which has led to improvement in a few conditions. Wun Hee has a wonderful sense of humor and appreciation for life and encourages her patients to look for the good in life. Her kindness, gentle manner and keen ability to heal is a wonderful combination.
It is only 4 stars as parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the amount of cars and the configuration of the parking area.

I was going to Wun Hee quite often for pain and it would help temporarily but the pain would come back shorty. I was also so depessed and was laying on my sofa in mental agony most evenings. Finally I could not afford it any more and went to a different less expensive (sliding scale) accupuncturist. This turned out to be a good change because when he evaluated me he noticed immediately an essential energy meridian was so low that it was keeping me from getting better. After one appointment I felt like a new person. I was able to get up off the couch, depression lifted, energy returned, and pain started to subside. I feel like Wun Hee has a lot to deal with and is not at the level she used to be. Another problem for me was the religious prosletizing. I realize people get excited when they find a religion/​belief that works for them, but she would not let up on this even after I said something. I didn’t like being badgered. I think it is simplistic to think everyone wants to hear about your religious beliefs and denotes a lack of professional boundaries.
