This place is so fun. The sandwiches are clever and super tasty and the desserts are fun

Awesome high quality food! The fries alone are worth the trip. Spend the extra .75 cents and get the dipping sauce. What sets this place a part from everywhere else is they don’t skimp on the ingredients. Everything is of the highest quality and perfectly balanced. Other reviewers rave about the fries and you will understand after you have tried them. Good selection of craft beers. Comfortable atmosphere kid friendly, yet a decent bar scene.

Their sandwiches are amazing! The bartenders make some great bloody mary’s as well. I would definitely recommend this place. The meatloaf sandwich and any sandwich with steak in it is awesome!

Service was great. Get your #10 the prosciutto and mozzarella panini, it was delicious. Belgium fries were crispy just how I like them. It went great with the chipotle mayo, garlic mayo, and pineapple sriracha sauce. Highly recommended. I also ordered a burger and asked for the beef to be cooked«medium», it was well done. Next time, I’ll just ask for it to be medium rare instead.

I love this place. I’ve come here so many times and a review is long overdue. Let me start off by saying that many people misuse the word ‘literally’ but I’m being honest here: Press 195 offers *literally* the best fries I’ve ever had. They’re perfect without anything but as a kicker, this place whips up creative dipping sauces.(Try the pineapple sesame Sriracha sauce) The sandwiches are BOMB. I haven’t had one I didn’t enjoy. You have to keep coming back because there are just so many to choose from. Everything on the menu has an innovative touch to it so you’re not just getting a boring sandwich. They’re obviously pressed and delicious. The beer: really good selection that’s always rotating. Craft on tap and in bottles. I love the variety and there is nothing better than pairing a craft brew with a hearty sandwich. Press 195 has everything I can ask for in a restaurant: generous portions of awesome food, good beer and a great staff.(Oh and some TVs) Ok. That’s enough. Seriously — go here. I bring all my friends and family here when they visit. You won’t regret it.

I’ve come here multiple times before and have enjoyed myself. Paninis are great but don’t come with fries so expect to pay another $ 7 for fries and they have don’t an option to get a smaller serving of fries even if you are ordering take out alone which is annoying. Also 75 cents extra for each dipping sauce… rip off! And expect to pay $ 30 for a pitcher of ice with a splash of sangria. Now all this said I’ve returned here many times to eat because the food is good. Came on Friday and had a reservation for 7:30, we were 25 minutes late because we forgot how impossible it is to park in RVC on a Friday night. Now when we get there I would have expected them to just give our table away since it was busy which I would have been fine with, no they kept our table but the manager? continued to roll his eyes and be extremely rude when we said our name at the hostess area. Then he came over whispered to our waiter while pointing at our table and when I looked at him he covered his mouth with the menu and continued to talk about us! So rude, I will never be back.

Always a go to place. Great food, atmosphere, staffs always nice and attentive and of course good beer. I always have good conversations with the bartenders too when i sit at the bar. I’ve never had anything i didn’t like. I love the burgers, steak sandwich, wings and of course their amazing fries. I always order wings and fries to go and its a 15⁄20 minute drive for me but is my favorite place to get wings. The size of the fries they give you when you dine in is enough for 2⁄3 people. The to-go fries were enough for a family of 6. Definitely get your moneys worth. And kudos for the vented bag they came in so they don’t get soggy lol. Anyways, i always recommend this place to anyone. It’s a must try! Oh, and you cant leave without trying the Nutella press, it’s so delicious!

FANTASTIC food, excellent bar, great service. The downside: the parking, always the parking in this town. Run or walk there instead, but get there, because you will leave full and happy!

New to the Rockville Centre restaurant scene, I am so happy I discovered Press 195. It looks like a normal deli from the outside, but it’s deceivingly large and trendy on the inside. I loved the recessed booths near the bar, the curved orange stained glass, the craft beer handle décor, and the bright sunny spaces throughout. For lunch, I got the #9 on a crispy pressed whole wheat wrap(roast pork, cilantro, jack cheese, onions, jalepenos, and garlic spread). My taste buds were in heaven! My fiancé, a burger aficionado, ordered the Winner Winner(burger with pickled green tomatoes, fontina cheese, sweet onion ranch, Bermuda onion, and lettuce), which lived up to its name! He ordered a side of Belgian fries, which had a great texture and consistency. I regret not trying their other sauces, but will gladly return for another taste of this deliciousness!

I’m taking the 300 review spot for Press 195. This sandwich spot in Rockville center has everything done right; from the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by their friendly hosts and servers. Their customer service surely isn’t lacking. Paired along with outrageous food this place obviously deserves five stars. For starters I went with the Fried assorted pickles which was a basket of deep-fried sour pickles, pickled tomatoes and pepperoncini with a sweet onion ranch dip $ 9.00 For an entrée we went with the cold press Bell BBQ Classic $ 11, Brisket Knish $ 10 and Belgian fries $ 6.75 with 3 specialty sauces: barbecue, chipotle mayo and sweet onion ranch($ 0.75 each) I got the perfect seat in the house at the high top table which had a perfect view of the bar and glass mirrors in each little booth which felt pretty private. It was a very relaxing atmosphere the waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant they do have a very large menu which will keep me coming back to try something new. Their sandwiches are a little pricey but they’re totally worth it.

I personally have not tried any other sandwiches other than #38 because I simply cannot part with it: Grilled marinated sliced steak, avocado, sweet onion jam, fresh Mozzarella and creamy roasted pepper dressing — all beautiful tastes hugged by ciabatta :) I typically end up taking the other home, but trust me when I say the leftovers go quickly!

I get the«the New Yorker» sandwich and it is sooooooo delicious. The portion is big, good for two girls. But I ate the whole sandwich because i can not stop! Before ordering that, I really doubt about the taste of turkey and pastrami together. Then I found they compliment each other. The sauce is creamy, I hope I can get more. The bread is crispy and the sesame smells super good. I like the decoration here. You can find some details here, surprising. If it has a store in Manhattan, I will DEFINITELY go there every week.

Best panini ever. No seriously. It was amazing. I ordered the #13(essentially a caprese with pesto) and fell in love. They use their own signature maple pesto which is to die for. I almost asked for a jar of it to go but had to restrain myself. Cooked just right and full of flavor. These guys do it right! We shared an order of fries with assorted dipping sauces as well — definitely worth the calorie splurge. Huge selection of unique and local beers too! Service was awesome and ambience is decent. Worth the stop if you’re in the area!

Four stars broken down as follows: 5 star Belgian fries and 3 star American panini. I also learned a lesson. Listen to your server! When they tell you something is hot or spicy believe it. I didn’t and I suffered. We tried the steak with homemade chimichurri and the pastrami knish. Although both were acceptable neither spoke to me. On the other hand the fries are great and the portion is large. It’s worth a trip just to try them…

It was several years ago that I first came here for dinner with friends. They recommended I go with the fries. The fries were on point and I had several dipping sauces to choose from. My friends didn’t steer me wrong on the fries. Now it was time for the panini. There were so many choices on the menu, I had to ask the waitress for help. She was friendly and she too didn’t steer me wrong. Where don’t I need help? With the beer. They had many options on tap for me to choose from. I came back several times over the years and I was never disappointed. The only thing I didn’t like was when they turned the sound off the televisions with the Mets playing the World Series so a guitarist could perform and sing. We’re all entitled to a gaffe every now and then. It absolutely won’t stop me from coming back for more delicious food. Maybe the guitarist was good.

Mmmmmmmm is all that comes to mind when I think of Press 195. I remember coming home from work and specifically craving their truffle fries and a good ol sandwich. If heaven was a restaurant & bar, I promise you, this would be it. Very friendly staff. The wait isn’t bad at all. They always almost play sports on the tv for the sports fanatics :) i truly love coming here. The food is always fresh too!

Oh Steak Salad from Press 195 where have you been all my life??? I have searched high and low looking for that salad that straddles that line of a perfect salad combining a tasty assortment of ingredients but at the same time isn’t excessively unhealthy. In typical Thomas(that’s me if you are wondering) fashion I didn’t make it easy. I came to press 195 on numerous occasions and stuffed myself full of panini’s and mounds of French fries. Spicy meatball panini… check. Steak panini… check. Number 38 whatever you are… check. Oh Steak Salad, I am now complete. I am obviously a huge fan of Press 195 and the steak salad(chopped of course). The place has a great vibe. Very upscale/Brooklyn feel if that makes sense. They have a lot of different beers both on tap or by the bottle. I have never had anything here that wasn’t great nor have I left here not feeling absolutely full. Have I mentioned I love the steak salad!!! Highly Recommend Press 195!!!

So I’m definitely a sandwich person and Press 195 continues to impress me. I’ll even go as far as saying it’s my favorite restaurant in Rockville Centre. La Bottega used to be my go-to but now that spot is shared with Press. For the sake of comparison, I would say La Bottega offers more authentic Italian paninis, while Press is more about American sandwiches and craft beer. If you’re an indecisive person, the panini selection will probably overwhelm you. There’s a lot to choose from and everything that I’ve tried is really very good. They do organize the menu well. Aside from paninis, they have REALLY good knishes, burgers, wings, salads, apps, desserts, etc. I love everything. Also, this is probably the only restaurant that I can have a salad for a meal, enjoy it, and not wish I had ordered something else. To be honest, you really can’t go wrong ordering anything here. I get the Belgian fries often as well but I still think they’re overrated. Still very good, hence why I continue to order them. I’m not super into the sauces but people seem to go crazy for them. I’ve tried them all and they’re good. Also, the sangria here is definitely my favorite. I LOVE the red(they do have white as well). If I could buy it by the gallon and keep in my fridge at home, trust me, I would. I haven’t tried any of their beers because the sangria is too good to pass up but they do have a nice selection. For a sandwich joint, it’s really nice in there. More upscale than you’d expect, pretty spacious, lots of seating, a nice bar, all the works. They even have cute Press 195 shirts that a lot of the servers/bartenders wear. As far as service goes, everyone working here is very nice and personable. Overall friendly staff which contributes to a positive atmosphere. I’ve been here with a number of different people/occasions: happy hour(only at the bar though), friends, dates, dinner with younger cousins, dinner with parents, bigger groups, smaller groups, take out, late night — it’s really something for everyone. Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about Press.

Paninis just got a whole lot better. Press 195, I am a fan! Whenever I am in need of a panini to warm up my heart(no pun intended) I head here! The food always comes out burning hot! I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the paninis on the list. every one I’ve tried so far has been magnificent. Super crunchy and toasty on the outside — warm, cheesy and gooey on the inside… drool! The fries are also to die for. Will be back time! P. s. The inside is pretty big, lots of seating and clean
