Always a great place to eat. Sadly will be closing this month and will be greatly missed

Small place, really comforting ambiance. I ordered the two way combo seafood plate. It was just perfect! The seafood is super fresh. It’s probably one of the best seafood I ever had! Highly recommend!

Great breakfast nook with low prices and friendly service. Must have breakfast fishcakes and anadama toast: clean, fresh fish, not greasy, leaves you feeling satisfied but not heavy. Smaller than desirable dining room but they turn tables quickly. A real gem in downtown Rockport.

Crowded ‘Black Friday’ Rockport style. Walked around neck. Wandered into Skiff and got a seat at counter with my daughter. She ordered the BLT, I ordered clam roll. Fantastic in both accounts. BLT was hearty and clam roll is really a clam plate(they should skip the roll — almost hard to find roll under pile of clams). All fresh. Truth though, highlight was banter. Staff helpful, funny and quick. Ill be back.

Best Breakfast you’ll find on Cape Ann. Very small local place, expect to wait, but it’s well worth it if breakfast is what you’re looking for. Breakfast and Lunch only as far as I know. You can call in an order to go if you don’t want to wait.

The home fries are to die for, they reminded me of a childhood dish my dad used to make.

Just a good hearty breakfast. Fish cakes were great and muffins were huge. Ate there twice for breakfast during a three night stay in Rockport. Staff was always friendly. Wanted to go for lunch or dinner but didn’t get a chance.

When your in a small seaside town it’s not easy to find good food for those who aren’t fans of seafood, but this place was great. The staff was really friendly, the service was really quick. My daughter and I split a half pound cheeseburger it was DELICIOUS. Cooked perfectly really juicy. We also had onion rings which were really good, not greasy at all. I would definitely eat there again. Wish I hadn’t been so full from lunch really wanted to try their bread pudding.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating even though we showed up near closing with a large party. The food was out fast, and they were really great with my antsy 18-month-old son. The place itself has that New England hole-in the-wall been-there-forever sea food joint vibe and the food was on point and hit the spot — we’d been craving fried seafood. One point off for making you walk well around the corner outside and into the public restrooms. Regardless, I’d definitely go back!

We love this place! It’s small with super service and great food. Today I had the cranberry blueberry pancake… so good! We love their fried clams, fried scallops and fried shrimp as well.

Tiny little place with ok food. They turn over the tables pretty quickly so even if it looks like a long line you can usually get a table without too much of a wait. The portion sizes are generous and the food came out of the kitchen pretty quickly.

The sea food is very fresh. I tried the clam roll and it was good. Then I tried my wife’s lobster roll… and that was fantastic! I would go here again for the lobster roll. I also like that this is a local and mom-pop type of place.

I visit Rockport often — mostly in the off season, but often enough to smoke most of the breakfast places here and in nearby Gloucester– Red Skiff has the best hash eggs Benedict — and their muffins were out of this world — ask to have them grilled — wow

Friendly small place with great food at reasonable prices. Lobster roll was $ 15 in 1⁄2015

My husband and I went here while visiting Rockport on a recent mild and sunny December day. The place is small and it was very busy but we got seats pretty quickly. The two waitresses taking care of everyone were pleasant and efficient. The food came quickly and was excellent! We both had fish and chips. The serving of fish was very generous. It was tender and delicious and the coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. I told the waitress that and she said«Lots of people say that.» We will definitely come back to eat here next time we’re in Rockport!

My parents live basically across the street from this place and I’ve been wanting to give it a try since there’s always a crowd outside in the summer. I was also craving seafood and there’s not a whole lot open in the winter around there! Small little place with very efficient staff. I had a cup of clam chowder and a lobster roll which were both excellent. Clam chowder was among the best I’ve had anywhere. Excellent location. Definitely will go again!

I have eaten here every morning while on vacation here in rockport. Everything is delicious and the place is usually packed. The patrons are friendly and a fun bunch. I had the egg white vegie omlette. Great. The oatmeal is even good. Coffee flows and taste great not that burnt starbucks crap. Staff is friendly but efficient. Check it out you wont be dissapointed

Today, I had the absolute best clam roll of my life. Crispy crunchy hot and tasted like the sea! Wish I had taken a picture but this had a very short half-life. Delicious!
