HOOT coffee

I heard there was a new coffee place in town so I went to check it out. I didn’t know it was attached to the Party Place. I’ll have to check that out another time.
I like to try a variety of drinks when a new place opens up. I ordered an iced coffee (doesn’t come sweetened but you can add a packet at the coffee bar), iced almond milk latte and and iced tea. I also ordered a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and the cinnamon bun waffles. Don’t worry, I was sharing!
I really liked the latte, but I made the mistake of putting a packet of Sugar in the Raw in my iced coffee. Garbage! Both food items I had were delicious.
This is definitely the kind of place you would meet up with a friend and hang out at, or work on a laptop or something. I wouldn’t make it my daily go to now that I have a infant. I need that faster drive thru kind of thing that I get at Starbucks or Human Bean. But Hoot is a really nice place with cool art (the owner is also an artist, met him while I was there and chatted for a bit).
This would have been a cool place to hang out and drink coffee before I had the baby. But I’ll definitely be back when I’m on that side of town and when the baby gets big enough to play there.

How did this place get almost 5 stars? Clearly all workers n friends n family reviewed it. Worse coffee I ever tasted it and worse $ 14 I ever spent for my kids to play they were bored out of their mind n so was I for them. All they have a bunch of broken games u have to pay extra for a wood house w nothing in it and a little bouncing thing looked like was gonna tip of any min when kids jumped. Oh, n the other party room which was the funnest all kids sneaked in and the worker came n closed the door I thought there was another door my kids m others to be able to get out. My daughter started crying I couldn’t run inside to c her cuz the door was closed I ran n asked the girl if there’s another door she said no this is for party only… I go do u not hear like 7 kids in there u just locked them up?! She was also the one that made my coffee and it took her 5 min to ring me up and another 10 to make the nasty coffee (there was no line 2 ladies came after me and they got their coffees before me?!). I stormed out was so disappointed gave them back the coffee cuz n told them it’s terrible did not hear a word back or a sorry.
Don’t waste ur money the mall playground is more fun for kids.

First time trying this new coffee shop. Met the owner and he was the most friendly guy ever! He made me feel welcome unlike when you go to Starbucks and they’re just wanting you to grab your coffee and leave. Love the artwork on the inside. Coffee shop has a relaxing vibe to it. Ordered «Robs Special» and I would definitely order it again! He also made me a vanilla latte as well :) Recommend to anyone wanting to try a new coffee shop!

The coffee is not as stellar as other reviews. I’m a coffee snob. If you’re not, it may be acceptable. I had a bitter double shot of espresso. The redeeming quality is the space. While awkward that it’s inside a party place for kids, the actual coffee area is cool.

Super cute and artsy coffee spot. I would absolutely love this place if it didn’t have that odd party spot in the back. It wasn’t too crowded or loud but imagine wanting a quiet spot while a party is going on with a bunch of kids in the back. Just odd. Don’t really understand the concept behind that. But the place is super cute and whimsical! Maybe one day they’ll branch off.

Now, if you got kids and it’s a party, and you want a coffee to help you keep up with your caffeinated kids, then this place could work for you. As noted, it’s inside Party Place. So I actually shouldn’t have gone in as I wasn’t with kids and I wasn’t looking to be part of Party Place. I was looking for a good cappuccino. What I found instead was a Latte a couple of notches below a Starbucks. No foam whatsoever. Not hot.
But could work for those with the right mix of adults and kids.

Hoot is located inside of the Party Place right next to Shave Monster and Phở Saigon.
Such a welcoming and calm atmosphere whenever i walk through the door.
I ordered a Carmel Macchiato over ice and the barista asked how i’d like it sweet, ice, and milk levels.
Oh my goodness this place is just too delicious! I could definitely say that their Carmel Macchiato was the best thing i’ve ever had!
The only downside to this place is the location is held inside of the Party Place and it can be quite noisy…

What a cute little coffee shop located inside the Party Place! Doesn’t feel like you’re in a strip mall in Rocklin but instead in downtown Sacramento or something. I got the latte and it was good and strong, just how I like it. For it being pretty busy, coffee took quite a long time to make. Hopefully they were just having an off night. There’s plenty of available seating and outlets though so a good space to study or get work done.

First time customer here. Met a friend for coffee and a chat. Walked in ooh-​ing and ahh-​ing at the industrial shabby chicness and amazing art.
We were greeted and our order was taken.
We ordered two hot drinks a caramel macchiato and a mocha. We added an apricot shortbread pastry to share. Our drinks were brought to us at our table in ceramic mugs. No fancy designs were made. No heart, no leaf, nadda. I mean it looked delicious. moving on to taste. Took my first sip thinking it would be scorching hot. Not the case, we both could’ve chugged down those hot coffees. They were room temp. But the taste was so rich and delicious we didn’t make a deal about it. So we finished up. Getting ready to leave and the guy barista asked «how’d you like my coffee?» with a proud smile on his face. My friend and I looked at each other and caved in. We told him «his» coffee was cold but delish. He did mention the temperature or thermometer gage was broken and he was relying on feel of the cup (?) but thanked us for bringing it to his attention. Super apologetic. I’ll be back!

Yum! This place is amazing! Locally crafted coffee, a unique and kid-​friendly atmosphere, and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit all make this coffee shop a go-​to destination. I prefer this place over Starbucks and Dutch Bros!

This place is amazing! The staff was so walk and welcoming right as I walked through the door.
When I ordered my drink, they even told me that the beans that they use is from a local roaster in Rocklin, which makes me love it even more! I love being able to support local businesses. I got a mocha and the espresso tasted so rich and not bitter or burnt at all. And it was super affordable too! The prices are less than what Starbucks would be. And they even have kombucha (a fermented tea on tap) and a nitro brew (nitrogen infused cold brew on tap).
The atmosphere is super hipster and calming. The employees told me that the owner is the person that painted it! The woodwork on the tables and bar is beautiful and very eclectic, plus the chairs are so comfortable.
This place is my favorite sit down shop. I would recommend this to everyone I know. ⁷⁄₅ stars. Because it’s that good.

I love finding new coffee shops to try. I would say this is one of the best I’ve try and will go again. Try the rob special and make sure that the person making it remembers to put syrup in your coffee.

Wow! You just have to take a minute to stop in. Just have Robert make you a coffee. One of the best I’ve had in a minute and a half. I did see another review about it taking too long to get their coffee. Bottom line, it isn’t that kind of coffee. LoL! He makes yours fresh and the right way. Definitely expect better than your average starbucks «order, make, here you go, Bam done»… This is real coffee. Anyway, I will definitely be back to this place.

Coffee was very tasty, smooth and silky. None of that bitter starbucks aftertaste. Very artsy inside and hip at the same time. Love the people who serve the coffee and the coffee. Perfect match ;)

My new fave coffee spot! The ROB special is a must, it is so delicious! Cheaper and way better than Starbucks…:)

I am in LOVE!
This will be my favorite coffee shop. Located in Party Place across from the century theaters this coffee shop is none the less but amazing. I had the iced white mocha and sampled my friends tuxedo and they are simply amazing. Fragrant and tasteful and the prices were amazing. They have a wide verity of drinks and plenty of more to come.
We were lucky enough to meet with Robert the owner and he was nice enough to give us a tour of his business which is a full blown coffee shop and a party place catering from the young to the old. Robert a dashing man who was born and raised in Roseville is passionate about the coffee and the dream of his party business. Behind the walls of the coffee shops you find rooms themed for different occasions and parties. What stands out the most? The craftsmanship and hand painted murals and art.
Once this place gets rolling you can expect open mic nights, lip singing battles and live bands. I can not wait to bring friends here to have coffee… The list goes on but you will just have to check out this place for yourself.

Tried their coffee for the first time last week. Sugar free with almond milk, double shot: yum! Came with a couple of friends and our children. Great place for coffee while we let the kids run loose and play. Some of the kids even enjoyed cupcakes! Went back again yesterday, this time with a mommy group. All the mommies loved their iced coffees! Made it a weekly meetup for the moms group. It’s such a fun spot and the customer service is excellent. We will definitely be coming here quite often.

Hoot is located inside the Party Place building, right at the front. It feels like you’re in a fabulous coffee shop though, don’t worry! The décor has a fun vibe, a mix of posh and industrial.

Hoot Coffee is the BESSSSTTT!!! I Love the Hoot Special and get it all the time… my not so guilty pleasure! lol For my little one he gets the Italian raspberry soda! Little does he know its not soda with all the bad stuff, but just CARBONATED water with some yummy magical flavoring =) i cant say enough about this place because the place and staff are awesome! Its a coffee shop with a fun indoor play or its a fun indoor play with a coffee shop! Either way you put it, its the best place to go for the entire family to have a fun time and also get some yummy treats and COFFEE! This place rocks and i assure you wont be disappointed!
