This review is specifically for the bakery. I’m not a bell air shopper but decided to order my baby shower cake through Bel Airs bakery and was very pleased. I found a cake in the book they have on display and the associate working informed me that the size cake I wanted doesn’t come in that exact style but that she could accommodate and make a sheet cake almost exactly the same style. The price was very reasonable and I ended up getting there earlier than my pick up time and was still able to get the cake. It looked amazing and tasted even better. I highly recommend Bel Air for any bakery needs.

This bel air has such an amazing staff!!! They are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I get the sushi weekly — it’s always wonderful? I feel fortunate to be near such a great supermarket.

You got to give them props for trying to carry organic, however who’s going to buy organic food that is aged out? Frustrating to see Aged out produce at such a high price. Although convenient not worth the money guess I’ll drive to Whole Foods

I have been a customer, at this location for over a decade. I’ve always had great experiences both in store and with e-cart. I’m disabled and have found, for the most part, that the staff is very helpful. Sonja, Johnny, and Steve are three of the amazing staff. They are wonderful. I’ve been unimpressed, however, with the behavior of the young manager. This young man us rude to the employees. He also lacks customer service. This morning, he expected me to do my own carry-out, while pushing myself in a wheelchair. If you choose to work in the field of customer service, that’s exactly what’s expected. I’d rather shop at Nugget, than receive sub-par customer service.

This store is neat and people that work here are nice. Their premade sandwiches are really good and the wraps.

Four stars for a nice, clean supermarket really friendly staff. I like coming here although it’s a little more expensive than winco. The supermarket itself is always very clean and I always enjoy talking to the staff because they’re so friendly. I don’t shop here for weekly supermarket shopping but sometimes come here for special treats. I recommend their bakery and deli since both have really good food. Thanks.

I am fed up with this store. The only reason I go to this store is because its 3 blocks away from my home. I just purchased some rice cakes, took a bite, and realized they were expired since February of 2014!!! Its August of 2015!!! I swear — this is not the only time. EVERY time I buy something from this store it spoils in days. Now I only buy things from this store that don’t expire. Go to the NUGGET. The ONLY great thing about this store is the staff — super friendly. Who ever is managing the food/expirations/etc needs to be reevaluated.

I frequent this BelAir at least once a week but I am loyal to Safeway because it’s closer. I have always had great service at BelAir until yesterday. I was purchasing OJ($ 6.49!) and was in the 15 items or less and of course the gentlmen that cut me off had about 20 items in his cart and was a regular. The Asian teller(I didn’t get her name and always do) greeted him and was so polite to him. Had an extended conversation about everything under the sun and there were 2 of them packing his items. When it was my turn, not even a friendly smile but she was already greeting the other couple behind me and started with that conversation. If she was quick and efficient I probably wouldn’t have cared as much but then she rudely turned to me and said your bank declined these charges loud enough that the self checkout could hear her say that! Mind you I was annoyed and I punched in something wrong I told her I must have entered something incorrectly. She barely looked at me because she was busy speaking with the customers behind me. I am paying for OJ that cost $ 6.49 I am sure you can give me 30 seconds of your day!!! Once I entered everything correctly she just gave me my receipt and that was it. 2 things — I get you have your regular customers but CUSTOMERSERVICE is for everyone! And 2nd how rude to say out loud where everyone can hear YOURBANKDECLINED your charges! It was a mistake but what if something did happen that I was not aware of in regards to my credit card. How embarrassing is that! So FAILFORCUSTOMERSERVICE! Kudos to Hannah, Jack and the head clerk that assisted me with a rug doctor right before this transaction. I am sure the cashier at the 15 items or less line has good customer service but she should have it with ALLGUESTS!!!

Three cats armor cheese at a burger house in the snow on a Tuesday with a boat. The boat was very mean so the carers went home and ate dog food

I have officially had enough with this store. After being a faithful and nearly everyday customer since moving to Rocklin a year and a half ago I just can’t handle their BS anymore. I have had issues with expired items a day after purchase, rotten food and 2 veggie wraps that legitimately tasted as though they were soaked in soap. Among other things that wouldn’t be so annoying if it wasn’t all the time. But my final straw is with the bakery department. I pre purchased my sons birthday cake 2 weeks ahead of time and even called the night before pick up to ensure everything was in order which they confirmed it was. Upon our arrival the cake was not even close to finished, they didn’t even have the necessary items to finish the cake. Nobody bothered to call us before hand. It’s not as though it was anything elaborate or difficult, just a small«monster» cake. Leaving our entire birthday party prep 45 minutes behind. Totally not cool.

Have not been here in a while, this is a nice Bel Air, much cleaner & neater than the one where I usually shop. Went to deli case, was busy this AM. It was very clean & neat, nice presentation & selection. All employees here were friendly & welcoming. The beer & soda section was all behind glass doors, have not seen that. All stocked & organized, visually appealing. Glad I stopped here this morning, bought a lot more that I had planned. Even got my cash back at the self checkout, love that, saved me a trip to the atm. My $ 40 came out in $ 10’s & I liked that. In the competitive grocery world, they are doing an outstanding job at this location.

Just had a BAD experience in the meat dept. with«Lisa» the butcher. I asked for a piece of steak to be cut in half because I only wanted half. So she went and cut it in half and then brought both halves back in the package to me. I said«I only wanted half.» She said«well I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with rest of it. We can’t do anything else with the rest of it.» I said, «That’s not my problem.(b****)» I told her that I’ve never had a butcher say that to me before. I was actually hoping she didn’t slide my meat on something gross, it was that bad. It was really strange. People, they’re there to serve YOU. You’re not there to serve them, no matter how much of a b**** they are. My advice to this Belair, you better send her to another store.

I picked up a steak on Monday with a five minute drive home. The steak was immediately refrigerated. I brought it out on Wednesday and opened it up. I noticed a bad odor but the steak looked fine. I turned the steak over to fined it dark grey. Red on one side and grey on the other, hm! It had a sell by day of 10÷23÷14. I would like to add a photo I took. The week prior, I had brought to the attention of one of the meat stockers a obviously spoiled(grey) steak. I cannot trust this store. Nor do I want to waste my time returning something that is advertised as fresh. Never again Bel Air!

Bel Air used to be a great store. The produce at Bel Air used to be the very best anywhere. No more. Mike Teal(owner) has really run this place into the ground. If you are a big fan of store-label products(I’m not) you’ll find a lot of them here. The produce is definitely second rate. I used to buy beef here, now I go to Nugget. I used to buy seafood here, now I go to SaveMart(best seafood anywhere). One reason I used to like BelAir in Rocklin was that they unloaded your cart for you… no more(thanks, Mike). I no longer have a reason to go to BelAir.

Love that it’s so close to home. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the wide variety in brands and products. I’ve gotten some bad produce here, but it’s not going to stop me from shopping for other things.

love their deli section salads. Fresh, local produce, excellent combinations of flavor. Favorites: black rice and mango/bell pepper; quinoa kale walnut blueberry broccoli SuperFood Ancient Grain(yep…that is one title!) and the Southeast Asian Cucumber magnificence.

A great neighborhood store in the heart of Rocklin with a friendly staff! Produce is always high quality and very fresh. Great meat department with knowledgable butchers and yummy marinades. Excellent bakery with a wide variety of breads, cookies and cakes. Great deli with pre-made salads and to-order sandwiches.

I am new to California so Bel-Air is new to me. I love it. It is vegan/vegetarian friendly with all the alternatives to dairy and meat(tofu lunch meats, veganaise, soy cream cheese, etc.). And my goodness, I have never seen such happy and willing to help workers. They approach you to ask to help. They are friendly and upbeat. Amazing service staff and customer service. This is my store.

The store was renovated so it’s super clean and shiny, big aisles, self-checkout stations, their everyday rewards are a cut above Safeways and other store’s member programs. Plus they’re always so much more friendly here.
