If you are in Rockland and looking for a burger, your choices are quite limited. 10 bucks here gets you a half pound Angus burger with good crispy fries. Pleasant and quick service. Good spot for pub food.

Waterworks is great for a burger and beer. Their portsider is delicious as well. I enjoy the fried mushrooms, but the price is high. It’s fun to grab your own popcorn! The salads are so-so as are the sandwiches on regular bread. Chris is always a great waiter, accurate, pleasant, fast, and great memory! He can make up in waitstaff skills for inconsistencies in the meals!

I am amazed at all the 4 – 5 star reviews. Has no one here ever eaten GOOD pub food? The prices were really high for a bar. Okay, it’s a tourist-trap area, I’ll let that slide. It’s really hard to find at night. It’s a tourist-trap area. That’s really bad marketing. It’s INCREDIBLY noisy, even for a pub/sports bar, which made enjoying the company difficult. The service was bad — rude waitresses who slammed food/checks on the table and walked away while still talking or being talked to. I know it was busy, but I’ve never been treated that way in any restaurant. And the food… the food was awful. The chicken wings tasted like pure salt. There were plenty of them though. For my entrée I ordered a tuna steak medium rare and it came out raw. Seriously, it was still cold in the middle one forkful in. I had to send it back which I have done MAYBE once before in my life. They brought me back the same piece of fish cooked slightly more, which I think might be illegal. There was still something very off about the flavor and texture and I could only finish half of it even though I had arrive REALLY hungry. My date said his haddock was okay, but quite plain. He also has said he would not go back.

The food here is so delicious! The wings were incredible along with the clams and onion rings! I highly recommend this restraunt and I will totally be coming back. The only thing I think was«bad» was the long wait for the food to cook, but in their defense the place was busy!

This was such a local dive bar. Which is fine when I’m expecting it… Dinner was okay and quick. Just a bar feel and even felt dirty. Just not what I expected for a restaurant.

Was not expecting the actual care put into this food. Simple thing like adding salt to the fried pickles! Great place will come back!

After walking past brewpub after fish house after brewpub, my friends and I happened upon the Waterworks. We were beckoned by the sparkling fairy lights on the expansive deck and lured in by the music being played inside. Usually in places like this, where most people come for the atmosphere, you would find the food and service lacking. Not so with the Waterworks! I had a warm, gooey steak sandwich that the chef sprinkled bleu cheese on at my request. And the drinks seemed to never end, as our servers Amber and Ashley were quick with drink suggestions and a smile. I was away from home(West Coast) but felt very welcome here. Thanks!

I love this place!!! My husband and I stopped in today for lunch and were lucky enough to sit outside and feel the warmth of the sunshine… This is a very warm and inviting place… not fancy but with local charm. Menu was great and they took such care in the quality and preparation… We are very very very picky… and we were pleased… We started with fried pickles that were to die for… simple and delicious… I had the broiled haddock caesar wrap and my husband had the fried clam caeser wrap. The wraps were so fresh and soft, the caeser was just lightly dressed with crisp lettuce and the haddock would melt in your mouth and the clams were cooked to perfection… The sides they offer is a nice bonus… you have many choices… all fabulous… We will be back again… Simple lunch but prepared so very well!!!

A wonderful bar located in a building with antique charm. I recommend sitting by the fireplace in the cold months and enjoying a whiskey and ginger ale. The food is good pub fare and last I knew they had a little popcorn machine like a fair vendor would have it was nice touch. This place is walkable to hotels and other bars and restaurants. Don’t miss it as it’s not on Main Street but tucked just a few doors down on Lindsey street which is off Main Street.

This is one of our favorite spots to grab a bite, relax, and be social. Good fries and onion rings, the angus burger is delicious, and prices are reasonable. Good selection of draft beers. Fireplace adds warmth on a cold winter night. Free popcorn is always a plus. Good pub food. Not fancy but down to earth and friendly.

This place is huge and has a fantastic atmosphere. They often feature live music, and locally brewed beer on tap.
