Very happy with service and food, plus kids eat free after Redsox win.

On the way down the cape last week we decided to try this location for dinner — when we walked in no one was at the host station and it literally took close to 10 minutes before a waitress came by and asked us if wanted a table — the place was filthy dirty and the food was extremely salty — needles to say we would not be going back to the this location

I come here all the time and am loving the pub food but the service leaves a lot to be said. We sat down at noon and our waitress didn’t get to our table until 12:15. Wow! 15 minutes for a greet is unacceptable. It took 25 minutes for the hamburgers and I had the wedge salad. What really gets me is that I asked for the buffalo wings I ordered to be delivered with the check. We sat waiting for again another 15 minutes waiting for the check and she forgot the finger order. I asked for extra blue cheese due to it being an XL order. I finally received my wings and inside wAs the smallest little container of blue cheese for 14 wings and 3 little wilted sticks of celery. What the heck? Really bad to go meal sizing and I suggest anyone ordering to check their meal before you leave. They could care less and I am disappointed in their customer service.

Went there tonight with my fiancé and two friends, the food was really good and the experience was nice but what really commended a five star review was our waiter Paul. With complete confidence and no hesitation he was able to take our orders and recite them back to us without writing anything down, he didn’t even carry a notebook. He also didn’t forget a single thing, including drinks and sauces. I’ve never had a waiter so astute and attentive to all of my dining needs.

Rose and Mark are the best! Always feel welcome here! Trivia on Thursday is a fun time! Don’t trust drunk people’s reviews.

Service was excellent. Quick on refills. Food was ok. I got the ny strip. It was just a ok steak not a lot of flavor. Kids got cheeseburgers and said they were good. Also tried seafood mushrooms never really tasted any seafood. Mozzarella sticks could of been cooked a little more. 3 stars for the great service

Kids and I love this place. Have a great 9.99 list of meals. This 99 out beats any other, we have been to many different ones. My sister moved and she will travel to come to this one.

I came here on a Saturday during the busiest part of the evening, with a party of 8. Given that, I was prepared to make allowances with dinner — that didn’t help, unfortunately. We were hoping to be seated at 6:15 for an 8pm show nearby. We got there shortly before 6. We knew we couldn’t make a reservation, but we did not know we could call ahead. So we were satisfied when they said an approximate 35 minute wait, and we were much more satisfied when we were seated in 25 minutes, at one of those sets of booths where they remove the center partition. We then proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. She was fine with splitting us on 2 checks of 4 people each, but her method of taking our orders could have been better optimized. The big problem was the amount of time we waited after she took our order. Those of us who had salads with our dinners waited 25 minutes just for those. At the other half of the table, one woman with food restrictions worked with the waitress to order something that would work, only to have the manager come out not once but twice to work with her some more because things she could have and wanted to order were not available. To make matters worse, when the dinners came out, there were only 7 of them, and this woman’s husband was the one with the missing dinner. The waitress told him, TWICE, that it was«on the way.» When it finally came, the rest of us had finished our dinners. The waitress apologized profusely, but I’m not aware of any compensation beyond that, and she really should have checked on us a little more often, even if it was just on a pass-by. At our half of the table, our 4 meals were 50⁄50. The turkey tips and sirloin steak were good. The sirloin tips were way overcooked, and my ribs were charred on one side. I understand how hectic a restaurant can be at 7pm on a Saturday. They just didn’t compensate well here. Hopefully service and meals are better at other times of the day and week.

The 99 is a stable, affordable family restaurant. The food is not stellar, but will satisfy. They are constantly changing the menu to add variety and interest, and do a good job with providing some items in the lo-cal/heart healthy category. I’ve always found the servers at this location to be decent and friendly, however sometimes the service from the kitchen to the table is slow regardless of time/day. Not sure of the draw of the free popcorn, ad it’s often stale or burnt. For a local chain, it holds its own.

Nice atmosphere, decent prices but the food is not going to knock your socks off. But if you are hungry, want to catch the game or bring the family then boy are you in luck. I find to be very similar to Applebee’s, lets face it is a chain, so the menu will change little. It was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I went with my family I think there were 7 of us 5 adults and 2 kids, we were seat fairly quickly. I had the steak tips which were good but nothing special, 2 beers and a salad(though wish the salad didn’t look like it came from a bag).

So it’s not gourmet dining and once you can get over that, you’ll find this location is very status quo for the Ninety Nine. The restaurant is a laid out a little weird, but there is a huge bar in the center which is great for meeting friends and splitting appetizers. Plus, they serve their 23-oz beers in frosted mugs! The service is pleasant and efficient. We came in one night as a party of four and split a few appetizers. The server knew the bill wasn’t going to be huge, it was late and she was the one responsible for closing down the restaurant, but she was still really friendly. Portion sizes were much smaller than what was advertised in the pictures, but I wasn’t at all surprised. That’s why this review gets a 3-star A-OK from me! You really can’t go wrong with the Ninety Nine. There is something for everyone.

I didn’t get my free popcorn even though everyone else did… the steak was more like 4 oz than 6 oz… and the salmon was sugar glazed instead of lemon pepper… the french onion soup didnt have the sour dough bread as said on the menu… well but at least the food tasted okay and the crab cakes were decent. I will be nice this time and give it 3 stars.
