Walmart Supercenter

Most of us go into a Walmart knowing full well not to expect stellar customer service. This particular Walmart is not the exception. Let’s stop at the paint dept first. I once bought a small can of paint to use for an accent wall. All was fine and dandy until I got to the self check out… The paint can was not tapped down well enough and paint dumped all over the register and my hand. YIPPEE… I had to take my son to his afternoon preschool class looking like I forgot to wash my hands after using the bathroom!(or better yet I USED my hands to wipe) Next stop on the list of departments NOT to visit… THE DELI! If you should happen to want a nice turkey sandwich for lunch, it may not be until next week before they are ready to slice it for you. Seriously EVERY. TIME. I’ve tried to get lunch meat one poor soul is helping at the counter and 2 – 3 extremely slow people are playing with the fried foods. God forbid they come over and help someone. I’ve only complained to a manager ONCE in my life and it was over the women ignoring customers and playing with fried chicken. The asst. manager had to come back behind the counter to get someone to help out the customers that had been waiting 20+ mins and those 2 ladies STILL played with the chicken! I don’t even think I got an apology. The management is a joke to say the least. Of course, I’ll still go back to this Wally World but to the paint or Deli dept… FORGET ABOUT IT!
UPDATE: The electronic dept was AWESOME when they were out of a tablet is wanted to purchase. They called around to find one at another store!

You can’t expect much from Wal-​Mart — it’s a given that they’re sourcing subpar materials from around the world, and minimum wage doesn’t attract the quality employees.
There are 3 Wal-​Marts in town, and this one seems to be the best taken-​care-​of in town, so if you can’t depend on this one to meet your expectations, then don’t bother going to the 2 others.
We recently picked up a memory foam mattress pad from the store, and when we got it home we found that someone had previously bought the item, replaced the item with some used upholstery foam, sealed the box back up, and then returned the item. Walmart restocked the mattress pad and sold it back to me. I was highly upset about this turn of events

Of the three Walmart stores in Rockford, IL, this one is the largest and the most «hoity toity» of the three.

After being pleasantly greeted by the gentleman or lady at the front door, whisk yourself away through the shopping nirvana better known to many as «low prices, always.» Bask yourself in the plentiful aroma of golden arches and rotissery chicken via the western entry point, and also in the glow of natural lighting throughout your wide-​aisled shopping experience. You will find the generously ample selection of items imported from around the world, including from Africa, Latin America, and the far east of Asia, to be the absolute finest in inexpensive quantity, having been produced by the finest inexpensive labour your riches can buy. Marvel at the tall ceilings painted in subdued earth tones as you leisurely stroll through the action alley. Patiently pass the time queing behind others while your servant hastily packages your purchases.
I am rating this store with three stars because Unilocal’s rating description says this is «A-​OK» and Grade «A» is definitely OK — tally ho, chaps!
