I was pleasantly greeted at the visitors center by Carrie. Very helpful and informative.
It was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are kept so well! And everyone was so friendly. I had the most perfect fall day, basically all by myself. Couldn’t have been more impressed.

We stopped here on our way up to Madison and allowed my 3 year old to run around a bit. It is beautiful and peaceful. It has a nice little walk to a pretty children’s garden and a splash fountain that my son enjoyed playing in. There are some paths to take walks on that would be relaxing as well. A nice oasis to be with nature. I’m glad we stopped.

This place is wonderful. The woman working the front desk wasn’t the friendliest. But the people working the grounds were extremely helpful and friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially if you’re a student.

Gorgeous arboretum and garden. Expansive and diverse specimens on the grounds complete with ~3 mile loop. Paved walkway, free parking and clean flush bathrooms make this a very laid back park for taking the whole family. Even more unpaved trails in the more heavily wooded area to the east of the visitors center will appeal to more avid hiker types. They are super dog friendly which is a plus. The only downside is the Mosquitos; I got murdered by them today. $ 6 entry fee for adults.

We had our wedding here, and it was absolutely beautiful. The lady that helps to set up the wedding was so helpful, always answered our questions and wanted to make sure our day was right. If you’re planning your wedding here, DO! You will love it! We didn’t decorate much because… its already so beautiful!
