Checkers

Food is cold, salty and taste really bad. Staff are okay, but they need to look neater and wash their uniforms. The floors are always sticky. Only been there three times and will not go back.

The food at Checkers is great. The best part of Checkers is the fries. They are battered and are topped with pepper. I’ve had their burgers before and they are juicy and filling. This time I had a BLT, chicken tenders and it was tasty. For the BLT, the burger bread is decent size and isn’t small like the other value sandwiches at places like Wendy’s and McDonald’s. The chicken tenders were good size, bigger than other places. The service here was decent and had friendly staff.

The food is like any other checkers. My fav is the fries and strawberry shakes. The service is a hit or miss

It was a hour before closing and the line moved incredibly slow. Finally when it was my turn i made 7 orders of different meal combos. Stupid me didn’t check the bags, so of course I paid for it when I got home. I was missing 2 burgers and 2 bags of fries. Wow! That’s a lot of money to have missing. I got curse out by my family and took the lost. I wasn’t walking back 5 blocks at 11:35pm. I called and told them about the missing food, so they told me to come back with the bill. Yeah as if I would make it back before they close the doors at 12am. Just take my advice, check your orders before you leave.

Horrible service. Food is put together like a bag full of crap cooked half assed. If ur gonna eat junk food, at least get better quality junk.

Me and my girlfriend went in for some lunch at this checkers one day for something different. …and this seemed to fit what we wanted. I’ve been to other checkers before and compared to others this one was actually cleaner on the main floor… Did not see other sections. But when we ordered we clearly stated what we wanted and which parts of the meal we did not want included. And the girl at the register seemed to have a hard time doing this, as well as giving us the wrong drink when we distinctly said diet coke we got root beer… Instead of getting a new drink they just poured out what seemed like half or ¾ of it nd just refilled it. The food was nicely made and hot and cooked well. The loaded fries were very tasty. Aside from the location being right by the beach and close by to where we stay it is in a good spot and fast and convenient but service kind of lacks. They need to tend to customers and be more friendly instead of having an attitude and seeming like they don’t want to even be there. Overall for a quick bite to eat it’s somewhere to go and pretty good tasting. Pricing could be more clearly stated but in general would say stop by to try it out.

I actually like this Checkers the best, compared to other Checkers i’ve been to. The food is nice and hot and the burgers are juicy and grilled. The cajun fries are given to you flavorful and hot. This place is a little bit more expensive than your typical fast food place, (mcdonalds, burger king, etc.) but its worth every penny. When it’s crowded it takes some time to get your food, like 5 – 8 min, but once you get your food and eat it, you realize it was worth the wait.
There’s a little bit of parking outside of it, but if you cant get parking, just park across the street at stop and shop at your own risk. If you get a ticket dont come blaming me!

I liked it, it’s a step up from mc Donald and it’s by the beach and train. Hard to beat combo.

i order a number 11 which clearly stated 1.99 — the female employee stated «the computers says it is 2.49» they just opened up less than a month and already proven to be terrible restaurant
