SkyVue Outdoor TVs

I bought the 42″ NXG early in 2015 and I’m very impressed with the quality of the protective frame. I mainly use (90% of the time) just a leaf type antenna which picks up 80 channels (approx. 12 channels are my type) and several of my friends have commented on how clear the picture is with great color. Occasionally I bring out my cable receiver and connect it and the picture quality is even better. The sound bar is also more than adequate. I did have an issue with the TV recently that was resolved in a timely and professional manner. I’m happy with my TV and Skyvue’s customer relations.

I love this tv. I recieved it about 6 weeks ago, and have been thrilled ever since. My pool area is BRIGHT but the tv does great. I love watching sports outside. It works great during the day. But it is designed to be beight, so my pool area is like times square at night. Love it. It’s great.

Customer service takes their job very seriously and jumped to help me when my installer wouldn’t or couldn’t.

after looking around for a outdoor TV, I decided to go with skyvue. After all their reviews on their website were great. Not so fast. Purchased the TV earlier last month with a shipping date of august 8 2014. Today received an email from sales manager stating that they had received word from their supplier about a delay in shipping of tv components from china. he stated that the components were being delayd in customs. they had received word of this last Friday. Today is the shipping date. so he decided to email me today at 9 am or so regarding an extra week delay. he didn’t even offer any thing. not that I was looking for it. but it would be a nice gesture. after all $ 2800.00 on a tv I would expect a dollar off! Any way, any company that gets their components from China, and have to worry about customs, I would stay away from. so I cancelled. even the customer service person, didn’t offer any discount to keep me as a customer. I decided to go with Sunbrite Tv. A little more expensive but what the heck. at least its made in California.
