If you come in hungry you are guaranteed to leave full. The chicken Parmesan sub is at least double the size of a normal serving size.

The pizza is fresh, the salads are delicious and the onion rings are awesome, but what makes this place special is the people who work there. We were a large group with lots of demands and noise and all that, and Christine bent over backwards to accommodate us with a smile and a great attitude. The food was great, but she made the evening special.

Loved the food and I was so happy that they close at 10pm in the summer. The pizza is great, the wings are good and the place is pretty clean. Last time I ordered an individual pie with eggplant and peppers and it was delicious. Lunch or dinner this place is awesome! I just wish they delivered.

My family has been stopping at Pizza the Rock for over a decade on trips back and forth from the city to Binghamton. They used to have ice cream inside but no longer. They don’t need it! The pizza is always fresh and delicious, a perfect example of what NY pizza should be. It’s on the way to the city, so I always look forward to stopping for a few slices when I drive to Binghamton to see my parents. The last time I stopped I brought my dog and my fiancé. The woman(believe she owns the place) who was at the counter not only served is amazing pizza as usual, but brought it out to us on plates and even offered to get some water for our puppy. She brought her kids out to meet the pup as well, which was fun. Pizza the rock is one of my favorite places! While I haven’t tried anything other than the ‘za, I don’t need to. Keep up the great work guys!

Sort of neutral personality on the inside at the register. Would have loved a hello even. Eh, maybe a bad day for her. Pizza was decent. That is all. BLT, good/interesting.

We used to go here before there were other pizza options in RH. This place does not sell by the slice and the quality of the pizza is terrible, seriously inedible. The woman who worked there at the time was also nasty(this was 3 – 4 years ago). On another gross note, it had something like 12 health code violations in 2014!!! Save your money and find pizza elsewhere!

I’ll be honest with you. The only reason we got off the highway is because my wife had to use the restroom. Women, amirite guys?* Going forward, my new reasons for getting off the highway here: 1. The biggest chicken parm hero I’ve ever even eaten. 2. Served by the nicest people I’ve ever met. 3. The most adorable Christmas decorations I’ve ever seen in slice joint. 4. Excellent homemade cookies by the register. 5. Superheroes. Not every eatery has Captain America, The Hulk, AND Ironman guarding the front doors. Now, to be fair, this was not the best chicken parm hero I’ve ever had(nor was the Sicilian slice anything to e-mail Mom about). But it was damn tasty, and very affordable. Did I mention it was the biggest thing I’d ever seen? And yes, I definitely felt ill after eating the whole thing, but that’s no one’s fault but my own. ________________ *Please don’t murder me in my sleep, dear.

Yum! I’m from the area but now live in FL and miss NY pizza. This is as good as any NY pizza I remember. Definitely a nice surprise for Rock Hill.

We ate take-out in August 2013 and the food was still delicious! We had the 14 inch cheese pizza, 14 inch veggie, and the Buffalo wings. The veggies were perfect on the pizza and the wings were flavorful and nice & crispy; cheese pizza was just fine. Glad we ate here again!

Came in on a day when the credit card machine wasnt working. Tried the pizza once and and no one in our family liked it unfortunately. Very unlikely to try it again. We’ve eaten lots of pizza in our lives and the pizza we had left a lot to be desired. We ordered a regular pie.

Me and my buddy decided to grab a whole pie and eat at his place so this review is for take out rather than eat-in and it’s for the Pizza only. So the phone call in — sadly had some problems connecting with the people at Pizza The Rock, but after a little«what…no i want a hawaiian pizza… what?» We ordered our Hawaiian pizza(ham and pineapple) and went to pick it up. When we got it — i decided to get an order of wings as well. The wings were cooked fine, but the buffalo sauce was a lot lacking — and the size of the wings were pretty small compared to other places i’ve been. The Pizza on the other hand was piping hot, with a good portion of cheeze and rivals any pretty good pizza place in Manhattan(where i’m from). The pineapple slices were sweet and flavorful after being cooked and the ham was sliced ham. The Pizza was tasty and after 3 slices(i couldn’t eat half the pie) — i felt totally satisfied, sat home with a beer and just chilled out.

This is a pizza joint that does Pizza well. For the area, its really the only option for normal pizza. You can sit there with ease, but its a diner type environment, not a restaurant one. Their small is perfect size. Both Take out and eat in are easy, polite staff, easy parking etc. Its not NY pizza, but then, what really is?(Its a little pricey though)

Was over a friends house with some kids so we ordered a few pies. Average suburban pizza, not bad but nothing special. Just a tiny bit higher priced for this area.

Really the best pizza outside of NYC I’ve had. Traditional NY style like I remembered it as a kid, not the newer Neopolitan syle. I know pizza is a personal thing, but this is my benchmark pizza. I live in NJ now, but have a summer home in Rock Hill. Such a nice surprise in an area almost dereft of good dining. They’ve eliminated the ice-cream, by the way, and I’m pretty sure the mini-golf too. I do like to dine-in because they have the daily newspapers to read while you are eating if you are alone.

I still don’t understand what the name of this restaurant means, but I go here all the time when I’m in the area. The wings are amongst the best that I’ve had in the outskirts of metro New York. The service is fast and they have great pizza and other sandwiches. I always take out from this place and hardly eat in as the place isn’t very conducive to dining. Staff members are very friendly!
