The food is always great! Everything is freshly prepared. The macaroni and cheese and fried squash is delicious! The buffalo shrimp and burgers are awesome! I try to eat here weekly when I can.

Had the gyro and Greek salad. Both were very good. Son had chicken sandwich… HUGE. Daughter and wife also had gyro and another side. All food was very good. Service was excellent!

Local establishment that is one of my favorite places to eat in the Rock Hill/Charlotte area. Both of their locations serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, this location is puzzlingly closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Nishie G’s is a good mix of Greek and traditional southern food. They have great sides(green beans and corn for the win!), and have a diverse enough menu that everyone should be able to find something to eat. This place is very busy around lunch time.

First time in tonight and really enjoyed it. I had the burger special… loaded generously with bacon, *good* onion rings, American cheese, and half pound patty. The real start though. …the sweet potato fries! Holy Moses! They pour something like a baklava syrup over them with cinnamon and sugar… unexpected preparation but awesome. My wife had the Philly mac and cheese. The was really digging the mac. Good service. Not open on weekends which is when we normally eat out so have to plan weeknight trips in the future. Also hear they have a good breakfast.

Went there today with some co workers for lunch, we have a certain rotation that we follow and for some reason haven’t tried Nishie G’s yet. WOW, what a menu, they had everything but the kitchen sink up there. After staring at it for a while, I settled on my «go to» dish for a «Greek style» restaurant. I let my co worker take the lead and we both ordered the Gyro Platter and 2 sides. I chose the fries and fried squash as my 2 sides. We sat down and the place was pretty full. Good atmosphere and the service was attentive and friendly. It seems the lady was at our table every 2 minutes asking if we wanted refills. My problem with Gyro Platters, here and at Showmars is that they just lump the meat onto a quartered pita flat and give you some tzatziki sauce on the side. When you order the Gyro sandwich they put it together with onions, tomatoes and the sauce which for some reason tastes better. Onto the Gyro… it was«OK» the meat was a bit overcooked and not seasoned well. Their tzatziki sauce was passable. The fried squash was excellent and the fries were just plain fries. All in all, I would go back and support this locally owned restaurant but order something different. I like the varied selection and the fact that it is close to the office.

You’re gonna need some napkins! This place is greasy. Greasy can be a good thing… and all their greasy food is good. The gyros and onion rings make for a nice lunch with a Coke that will be refilled every time you exhale. The service is good and friendly. If you’re wanting a salad(unless it’s Greek), I’d look elsewhere. It is however, my understanding, that healthier options will be available in the near future. Don’t get my rating wrong… Nishie G’s is not bad… it just doesn’t stand out from other restaurants like it. Try: The souvlaki marinated pork tenderloin
