Wild Willy’s Burgers

I passed this place for years because it didn’t look appealing. I now come here weekly, if not more. Their food is consistent which is what I like best. I order the same thing and it tastes exactly the same everytime. They have homemade lemonade and frappes, they sell family farm raised burgers/​chicken sandwiches, and they even have veggie burgers. I highly suggest it, everything is so good and everyone I have introduced to this place has fallen in love with it. Worth the trip!

I am starting to not be able to eat burgers at other places because of my knowledge of this place’s existence. I’m a 30 – 40 min drive away but I still find time/​energy to head down. They have a Prime Rib burger and a Bison burger for only $ 2 more than the regular version (which I’ve heard is fine in and of itself). My advice is to splurge on the extras since they are worth it. I get the Tatonka burger which has chipotle mayo, cheese and sauteed onions, and I add the green chilis because they are Hatch chili peppers from New Mexico. Anyone who knows anything about peppers knows of the distinct taste/​flavor of these chilis. The Herb fries are deceptively good, and the pickle chips are all right (you will need the chipotle mayo that comes with it, however they get bonus points because they use pickle chips instead of pickle spears)

Update — visited again on 4÷9÷16. Burgers, as usual, were big and tasty. This time the onion rings were excellent — not t all greasy. French fries need some work — they’re pretty soggy. Small fries and small onion rings are pretty big side dishes — plenty for 2 people. 2 burgers, small fries, small onion rings, 1 beer and 1 small soda — $ 28.61.

This is one of our families favourite places to eat locally. The food overall is excellent and on the occasional time we’ve got food to take home and there’s been an issue (only twice in 3 years), the manager had gone above and beyond to make it right.

Been there many times and never disapoints. I love the chilli and burgers the kids love the shakes and both kinds of fries. Big enough to take some home portions and a friendly just rough enough setting that invites both the family and after work crowd.

I’m not from around the area, but when I’m here, I’m always at wild willys for dinner! I’m surprised it’s not more packed than it usually is. The food is INCREDIBLE. From the delicious fried pickles to the double wide burger of your choosing. The salads are surprisingly delicious for a burger joint. Fries and onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I also love their chicken tenders. They have a decent amount of beer of choice which is nice and their service is excellent. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Every time I’ve come here I’ve never been disappointed. When you walk in the staff is always friendly and ready to take your order. The burgers, onion rings, fries, and shakes are the best around.

Fair value, but nothing special. None of the four of us was thrilled by their burger. One was undercooked. Fries fine, onion rings good. Had to hunt down sugar for iced tea. Staff just going through the motions. The one of us who had been here before said it’s been better; maybe we just hit a bad night.

Stopped with a bunch of friends, none of us have ever been here before. When we first pulled up we were expecting a different looking place (what that would look like I don’t know) but the restaurant is a small non-​nondescript yellow building. We were a bit skeptical but went in anyways, medium sized dining room, booths and stand alone tables (we wen’t at 2pm on a weekday so it was pretty quiet and we sat ourselves) Took a menu to the table and went to the register to order, food is then delivered to your table. 5 of us in the party got 5 different burgers and we were all very pleased with them perfectly cooked and full of flavor, a good burger far beyond anything you’ll get at a fast-​food joint. Fries, onion rings and the fried pickles were very good as well.
Only thing I can see about this place is that during the busy times, I would guess especially on the weekends during the winter/​summer when the ski/​lake season is in swing that this place could fill up rather quickly. That said its only speculation, if your looking for a good burger in a casual atmosphere at a fair price this place won’t disappoint.

I recently went here with my family and my brothers family (3 small kids).
Although the burgers are sort of pricey at $ 6, I have to say, they are VERY worth it! We got cheesy fries and sweet potato fries and we all got some type of «Willy» burger which were all fabulous. The small kids were comfortable, as were the adults.
They had a nice dessert selection, although we had no room left!
Excellent experience, great family food, great family atmosphere! Oh, an 10% of our bill went to the kids school as a sweet bonus!

What a great find! On our way to the white mtns and needed to stop for lunch. Got lucky and found this place right off 16. 10x better than any fastfood burger! Perfectly cooked. Hand cut sweet potato fries! Yum! Will be stopping again on the way home.

It’s a little bit pricy but it’s a good local burger joint nonetheless. The Bubba Bbq burger is out of this world, tons of other great options as well. It’s good for a pretty quick meal, service is usually pretty good too.

This is a great spot to stop for a burger on our way up to the lakes region up in NH as it’s right off the highway. My husband sometimes gets a grilled chicken sandwich which he says is delicious, and I’ve gotten a few different burgers. All have been good. Don’t expect fast food speed though because the burgers are made to order.

Love this place! Always get the bison burger on GF bread. Super good, my favorite burger restaurant out here.

Went here for the 1^st time tonight. Ordered wicked good burger. It was delicious. I ordered medium & it was a little on the dry side. Fries were great. You have to order them separate though. Everything is ordered separately. I’d go again & recommend it

i’ll be honest, i was unexpectedly pleased. we found ourselves comparing Wild Willy’s burgers to Five Guys. strange…
+1 for a fantastic BBQ burger
+1 for using butter-​grilled buns. that makes the sandwich, in my opinion.

Forget the burgers, they have lime rickeys!
Unfortunately I felt this particular location wasn’t quite the same as others — no fresh squeezed lime in the rickey, burgers were small and just OK, fries were soggy and the ambiance /​service was pretty drab.
