The only reason this review gets 3 stars is because I don’t despise the store itself, but the tire, lube, express department is lacking some serious smarts. Went here tonight for a simple battery replacement for my truck, the guy at the desk looked less than pleased and when he asked if I was taking the new one with me, I asked if they could install it and he said«I won’t be installing it!» Ok, I didn’t specifically ask for him to install it, I just asked if SOMEONE could! He then started the process of writing up the work order, all the while moaning and groaning about the battery getting ready to die in the handheld. Not my problem. He then asked for my keys so that he could check the mileage, I specifically told him what it was and he ignored me. When he came back he was muttering something about a barcode being missing, not sure what he was talking about but he wasn’t happy. Once the work order was written up, he printed a barcode and handed my keys to another guy. As we were walking out of the TLE to go into the store for a few items, I saw my truck go zooming by the window and he was laying on the horn. Not very professional, I would never think of driving someone else’s vehicle like that unless I knew them! While in the store, waiting in the«express» line for 10 minutes because the lady ahead of me had about 40 items, I heard the TLE paging for me to come back. I get back there just to have them tell me they can’t replace my battery because they can’t get the bolts off the terminals. They gave me the option of buying the battery and taking it to, and I quote, a «real mechanic,» or just leave it until it dies. The latter was definitely not an option. One of the guys came out from the back and said«Want some more good news? You might want to leave it running until you get to your destination, we just had to jump start the old battery!» The battery was testing at 456CCA out of 700, no way it should be needing a jump! I texted my mechanic and brought the new battery to him(should have just done that to begin with), he had the old one out and the new one in within 15 minutes, the terminal did break off and it was stuck in the clamp, but he replaced that all within the 15 minutes I was there! When he first looked at the old battery, he noticed that they had left one of the clamps loose(which is probably why they had to jump start it) and they never tightened up the bracket that holds the battery in place either. This was a lesson well learned, if you need car repairs, tires or a simple battery replacement, go somewhere where they know what they’re doing!

Really great store! In terms of Walmart stores, it really is a 5 star store. Incredible variety, fresh seafood and produce are just a couple of the neat things this place has to offer. I went there expecting to have to make a trip to another store afterwards to get all the stuff on my list but ended up not needing to. You can even refill your 5 gallon water jugs here! Highly recommend!
