The food is ok. It’s not amazing. There were more things that were edible than I expected but not as many as I would’ve liked. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired. I didn’t get sick which is a plus but I expected to which is a minus.

This is the second time I’ve been to the Sky Dragon Buffet, and I found it to be passable both times. The hot sour soup was better than most. The fresh cucumber salad and the stir fried green beans were excellent. My son enjoyed the Japanese Teriyaki Chicken. The service was extremely fast picking up the plates, but not intrusive.

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in town, and other than the sky Dragon it might be in town. I highly recommend their crab Rangoon, dragon rolls, and coconut shrimp. Service there does a really good job of removing plates, refilling beverages, but sometimes the service isn’t always the best they don’t always seem that happy. One of their drums is that their ice cream machine is always broken they do have vanilla but never chocolate and twist.

Good food. Decent place as far as buffets go. I could do without the waitress asking me if I’m done with my plate every 5 seconds tho. Kinda annoying.

I had Sky Dragon when driving through town for work. I would say just your average Chinese buffet nothing special but still decent food. It is fairly cheap on price and I guess I couldn’t complain for when I got. The general chicken here was very good though

I’ve come back a few times because of the proximity to work. Over the few months, since writing my first review, Sky Dragon has really improved. They have the same, extremely friendly employees here pretty much every visit. They take dirty dishes away and refill drinks almost instantly. They always have a smile on their face when they stop by the table. I’ve even seen some of the customers hug a few of the employees when they arrive or leave. Overall, its a American-Style Chinese Buffet, but I’ve noticed that they change up the dishes that they serve. There has been 5 – 7 new dishes over the course of time that I’ve written these reviews. I enjoy their Penta-Flavor Shrimp/Chicken, Pineapple Pork, Dragon Rolls, Coconut Shrimp, and their many dishes with broccoli or mushrooms. One dish that can be hit or miss is their Lemon Chicken, if hot and fresh it’s amazing, but not so great if it sits too long. Their Crab Rangoons still beat any in town(I wish they would put more crab in them though, almost entirely cream cheese). I just have two complaints: 1) They never restock the crab legs. I’ve never even had the chance to try them. The container is there and it usually has one little, bitty leg in it, but I’ve never seen this item replaced and I’m usually there for minimum of 45minutes a visit. 2) I’ve never seen wonton soup. They have egg drop and hot and sour, I just prefer a good wonton soup. I’ve become a fan, keep serving some good food that’s really bad for my waistline!

This is the best Chinese I have ever had. I will be back. And the price is really not bad at all.

Average Minnesota Chinese buffet. Over cooked, over priced and under cleaned. That being said go there and get your msg fix, chicken cooked every possible way, and decent variety of greasy fried food.

Was there about 4pm, food was limited old and cold, when asked about the chance of getting it replaced I was told they were changing over for dinner and there was nothing they could do, do not eat here

I’m sorry but if you know anything at all about the meaning of life, you will love this place. It’s chinese, it’s American, it’s a buffet what more could you possibly want? This is without question the number one place to go to cure a hangover. The water itself is enough to cure an entire weekends worth of whiskey. It’s small, it’s tacky and it’s delicious. Go there, now. You’ll thank me later

It’s a chinese buffet, in MN, so the usual rules apply: It’s a buffet, filled with white folks. If you don’t want to be one with an expanding waistline, follow the following rule: One plate with no more than two fried items(four egg rolls do not count as one item) and you will be fine. Nothing too surprising about the food — not too flavorful as to be expected. Plusses: The hot and sour soup was both mildly spicy and had a bit of sour tang +++ Though they charge for hot tea the charge was only 69 cents. Vegetables(the main reason I would ever eat at a buffet was to avoid the deep fried food). If you are sensitive to MSG I would be sure to talk to the staff before hitting the buffet.

The food is anything but authentic. Anything but fresh. The Egg Drop Soup is orange.ORANGE. Often with a thick orange sludge while stirring. It is also always somewhat stale… Chicken is hard and dry with thick glazes of old tasting flavors. I don’t understand how it can get any positive reviews. Unless you are used to eating garbage on a regular basis.

Why do I love sketchy midwestern Chinese buffets? I’m not sure, but I do. Sky Dragon could have been cleaner, they didn’t keep my soda refilled very well, and the food selection wasn’t huge. That being said, the food was very good. I’d even say the food was better than the other Chinese buffet in town, but with the note that we went during the dinner rush so everything was very fresh, whereas we usually hit the other place after the rush is over. Try the Jalapeño chicken. Not exactly chinese, I know, but spicy and delicious.
