I cannot comment on the entire organization because I am sure the results depend on the technician/artist/illusionist. However, David in the Huntington Beach location is a true profession and illusionist/artist. He takes a great deal of pride in his work. I had the problem of a bad hair transplant, and was constantly having to style my hair just right, hoping the wind would not blow and expose the scars. David did an awesome job. He meticulously went over my scalp, effectively camouflaging all areas of concern. THISISNOT A «FAKEREVIEW.» If you call David I will gladly allow him to give my information as a reference.

I’d been wearing hair systems since 2001 and like most men, the maintenance had been growing tiresome. Even though it was better than the aternative of being bald, I never was totally comfortable with it. Dodging other people trying to run their fingers through it or avoiding pools altogether… It was no kind of life. While there is nothing wrong whatsoever with being bald, it’s just not a look that care for on myself. After doing some research I opted to give scalp aesthetics I try. I met with Mllla Rosen iin the Atlanta location and immediately felt connected with her. She is truly an artist… she actually didn’t know what I came in for at first since I still had my hair system on. I showed her a couple pics of what I «actually» look like and of what I «wanted» to look like. She told me she could help free me and THATSHEDID! I had the procedure 3 weeks later and just finished my touch up. I could not be more pleased! She is a perfectionist and has given me so much of my time back with not having to worry about making sure every hair is in place… not to mention the appointments every 2 – 4 weeks having to have the hair«serviced»…any non-surgical client will know what that means. Those who want to still like the look of having hair, do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I started balding at age 22 and it took such a toll on my personal and business life. I always would look for different answers places until I found a hair transplant doctor and decided at age 30 to get a hair transplant. I ended up getting 3 hair transplants and after about 5 years of going through all the operations– I was left with scars on the back of my head and still not the coverage I was promised. I went into a depressing slump. I still looked for other options and used temporary concealers but it was just a mess and hassle everyday. One day as I was online I came across SMP, i couldn’t believe what I saw. I went to several clinics and one popped out to me. Scalp Aesthetics. They just seemed like they cared about what they did and Frank Bonafide, my artist, did such an amazing job on my head. My mother couldn’t even tell it wasn’t hair and there were tears in her eyes when I showed her my new look. She knew how I was struggling even after my hair transplant. The scars took 4 procedures to camouflage and my head was only 3. I feel like a new person and it’s all thanks to this company. They have turned such a cool idea into a life changing procedure, I am happy to have found them!

The owners are now posting fake reviews how sad it that! Unilocal does nothing even if you tell them it is a fake. What company has to write their own reviews I will tell a crappy one. Stay far away from this place. Scalp Aesthetics main product is scalp micropigmentation treatment aka hair tattoos. Their website stresses that they are experts in covering up scars where hair will not grow. I went for that main purpose the scar I have is long and runs across my head from ear to ear. The scar is not deep or raised just hair does not grow there. A coordinator from Scalp Aesthetics contacted me after I submitted interest on the company’s website. The website and the coordinator both praised scalp micropigmentation treatment and Scalp Aesthetics ability to camouflage the bare scar area, that didn’t happen. The website gives false impression that they have branches across the country not true they rent rooms to do the procedures the main office is Rochester, NY in order not to pay an extra $ 1000 I had to drive 7 hours from Massachusetts even though the website claims there is a location in Boston. The first procedure was done by a former tattoo artist who spent more time creating a hairline in the front of my head then focusing on the scar in the back that I came to cover up. I expected them to tattoo all of the back of my head to blend it in and color add where no hair grows instead they just tattooed in the scar not matching my scalp color correctly. Took about 5 hours first day then next day another 2 hours done over a weekend. I complained the next Monday that it was blotchy and was not matching. $ 3000 procedure I expected more. I went back month later to have them correct what was done and to even it out the second technician did a much better job it was done in Bronxville, NY only about 4 hours away why they did not have me go there in the first place is odd(BTW this is the NY office they claim online at one point has a boardroom looking over NYC skyline LMAO). Problem is the first guy made parts of the scar too dark and once again they did not go over all of the back of my head to try and blend it in, most of the time was spent in trying to correct the blotchy mismatch job the first guy did on top and in front of my head. In the end it was costly and did not work well for scars as advertised.

I had the procedure done about 3 months ago and I am very happy with the results. I had(2) sessions, and will prob be going back for a final touch up. I can’t say enough about the procedure, it is expensive, about $ 3,000 dollars, but I’m fine with that. What I’m not fine with is how much they gouge you for the products the sell. $ 400 dollars for(4) tiny bottles of their«Anchor» product, which is nothing more than vitamin E and sunscreen. C’mon, really… then they try and sell you this teeny tiny«Rehab» after care wax for $ 50.00 bucks!!! I mean this thing is ridiculously small. Save your money on their overpriced products and get some Aquafor at CVS for $ 5 bucks to apply after the procedure. I use«Headblade» products for shaving and moisturizer, stuff works great and a year supply won’t come close to Scalp Aesthetics $ 400 dollar«Anchor» moisturizer/sunscreen. Again, love the results, just don’t fall for the overpriced products.
