Came here with a very large party(25+) sports team, with a mix of players on one check and assorted parents all on their own checks. Given the situation the servers and restaurant did a very good job with both the food and the checks. We were happy.

We had a really nice family lunch there yesterday. The service was a little slow, but friendly. We shared a grilled shrimp skewer appetizer — everyone loved it. My entrée sesame salad was fresh and tasty. They had coloring/activity books for my young nephews(who seemed very happy with their mac & cheese) and my in-laws all raved about their various plates(steak and lobster, burger, pork chop, ribeye)… I was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back.

This is hand’s down the BESTSTEAK chain restaurant on all of Jefferson Road! Outback always prides itself in making all of its ingredients FRESH daily. The cooks/prep team arrives to the restaurant super early to make sure everything is prepared for the upcoming dinner service. Speaking of service, Outback was home to the«golden age» of amazing servers, who most turned out to be major characters in the Rochester area. The owner of Outback Rob Lewis does a great job of making sure order in the restaurant is running smoothly. Rob is always checking tables on a routinely basis, with no stone left unturned. You can never go wrong with the Aussie Outback theme of the interior, giving you a real taste of what it could be like in the Outback. Granted sometimes the wait time to get a table is long, but worth it if you want food that is actually prepared fresh. Servers are very knowledgeable about the menu, and are held accountable if they aren’t. When it comes to steak in Henrietta, I do not hesitate to make Outback Steakhouse a number one recommendation to friends/co-workers. BARDRINKS: I have to start with the HUGE beer selection on tap– honestly getting a BIGBLOKE of Sam Adams Boston Lager really hits the spot with any steak. It comes in a wicked cool HUGE frozen beer glass. The Wallaby Darned is another good classic cocktail choice, which is made with Australian peach bellini. It can tickle your tongue with a frosty combination of peaches, La Marca Prosecco, Svedka Vodka and DeKuyper Peach-tree Schnapps. This cocktail can get you buzzed in a heartbeat. For martinis, I have to give it to the Gingerbread Martini, which you can only get around the holiday season. It literally tastes like a gingerbread cookie with vodka in it, I can have like 5 of them(well, sort of). APPETIZERS: The world famous Bloomin’ Onion of course! If you knew the amount of effort that goes behind making/peeling a Bloomin Onion, you would appreciate eating them more. It’s hand-carved, and fried to perfect perfection. The onion flakes off nicely from the«bloom» when dipping it in the Bloom Sauce. The bloom sauce is one of the best restaurant home-made sauces ever, with a spicy herb mayo taste to it. Seared Ahi Tuna, which is sashimi-styled tuna seared with fresh peppercorns in it. It comes on top of a bed of Asian slaw, but the Ahi tastes so fresh on its own. Served with a side of homemade ginger-soy sauce which is a great balance of fresh ginger/soy mixed together for a little bit of a kick. Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas– imagine a freshly grilled juicy chopped chicken breast, sauteed mushrooms, bacon, and melted cheeses. Now mix that all in there with there homemade honey mustard sauce, and get ready for a boomerang of flavor in your mouth. The Quesadillas always come out firm, never greasy. SALADS: Hand’s down some of the BEST salads in ANY restaurant. Not only are the bowls huge, but the variety of homemade dressings at the bottom taste amazing. There tangy tomato dressing is like a mix of sweet, fresh herb tomatoes all plucked right from your garden. Now i remember they had a Chopped Salad, which was a unique salad for its time. It included chopped romaine lettuce, pecans, and blue chess crumbles in a vinaigrette dressing. So many restaurants after this tried to duplicate this salad but failed, I have witnessed that trial and error personally. ENTREES: Of course I will have to start with my favorite Ribeye cut. All the steaks at Outback are Prime Cut USDA certified, not placed in a vacuum sealed bag like other restaurants I know. There ribeye is extremely well-marbled from the center out. I always feel that I am getting my money’s worth when eating a HUGE piece of steak from Outback. The steak is always naturally juicy with NO grease on my plate. Victoria’s Filet Mignon comes in a close second there for me, super tender to slice right through every-time. I like that you can get a choice of steak classically seasoned and seared on their hot-grill, or lightly seasoned over a wood fired grill. The steak temperatures always come out perfectly especially when I order it Med-Rare. Right from the first cut, I can see the warm red center. Add on a half order of baby back ribs to complete the whole experience. The ribs fall right off the bone because of there wood fire grill, brushed with ample amounts of sweet tangy homemade bbq sauce. The MUSTHAVE side is the Sweet Potato with Honey Butter and Brown Sugar. Imagine how tasty there bread is with the honey butter, now put that on a oven roasted sweet potato with a dash of cinnamon to ROCKYOURWORLD. DESSERT: The Chocolate Thunder from Down Under is a dessert I want to dive into every-time. A HUGE warm pecan brownie drizzled with chocolate sauce, with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate shavings. It really is an explosion of chocolate flavors. Overall: Amazing Service and Fresh Ingredients. Top Chain Steak Restaurant!!!

Thank you so much to Natalie and the other managers and staff that were working on Friday September 12th who made my mom feel like the most special person in the world. The generosity, kindness and hospitality that exuded from the team at Outback that day were unbelievably classy and she was beyond grateful to have spent her night celebrating her battle against breast cancer at your establishment. It literally brought tears to her eyes, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness of the morning/afternoon manager(Im so sorry, I am blanking on his name) for wanting to ensure she was taken care of that day. Thank you so much!

What is the point of call ahead seating if you have to wait 45 minutes after you arrive to be seated AND they seat people that did not call ahead before you? We both ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp. Both steaks had to be sent back for proper cooking. Shrimp was good and steak was okay when they put it on to cook more. Our server was good and attentive. She was all over asking if we wanted more shrimp. Have eaten here a lot but the last few visits have been disappointing.

My family was seated quickly at dinner time on a Friday. We ordered a half price bloomin onion, which arrived cold. The server sent a manager over who apologized and gave us a free appetizer coupon. It’s nice to know that there is a plan to deal with customer dissatisfaction, but not sending cold food and having a process in place to inspect food before it leaves the kitchen seems to to be more efficient, cost effective and customer focused. My wife’s veggies were under cooked and she had a tiny portion of rice. My daughters Mac & cheese was cold and my chicken portion on the chicken & rib dinner was small as well. The fries were way over seasoned. The server(Drew) was non existent, only refilled our drinks once, except mine which he did not refill. Very poor service. Also, the meal cost us almost $ 70. My wife caught that we were going to be over charged for adult soda instead if a child’s drink on the bill. Not a very good value for the small food portions, poor slow service and overall experience. With so many options out there, we will not be going here again anytime soon.

My first time at outback, and it was pretty good. We were seated pretty quickly, and our server was really attentive. She was great, I really enjoy servers that actually have some personality and don’t just act like they’re going through the motions. Our appetizer came out super quick, though the bloomin onion was a little greasy for my liking. I also had steak(how could you not at a steakhouse) which turned out pretty good, a tiny bit tough but seasoned well. The manager(I’m assuming) even stopped by our table mid-meal and asked how everything was going. When our server brought the credit card slip back to be signed and our take out boxes, she greeted my friend by name and genuinely seemed to appreciate our business. Overall a good experience.

The quality of the food here is way down from what it should be and used to be. I ordered a medium rare steak and go a burnt hard tasteless steak. Thats it for me never going back there again. Texas Roadhouse is 500% better in my opinion!

We go to Outback quite a bit since we get gift cards to Carabbas(works for Outback). We have always had great service and good food at Outback, especially at the Jefferson location. Our server was also the bartender since we went during happy hour and he was excellent. We tried the shortrib nachos and they were great(appetizer). My husband had the pork porter house and he said it was the softest pork he ever had. Overall good experience as always! On Wednesday they have the 11.99 meal too, which is a prett good deal!

Love the new sesame salmon salad! It is so delicious! If you like cilantro you are going to love it. It is loaded! The sesame dressing is light yet snappy! I forgot to ask for it on the side but it came on it and it was just the right amount! The salmon is tender and grilled to perfection! Thumbs up Outback Steakhouse!

For a chain restaurant, Outback makes a decent steak. I was given a gift card to Outback so I decided to use it up and get the ribeye. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised when my steak came out. It cooked to a perfect medium rare and the seasoning on it tasted great(maybe a little less salt would have worked better). My girlfriend ordered the sirloin and while it wasn’t the same cut as the ribeye, it still was well cooked and tasted good. We started out with an order of chicken wings and they were decent, but no one goes to Outback for chicken wings(if you do, let me know and I’ll point you in the direction of some better choices). In hindsight, should have stuck to the classics and gone with the Bloomin Onion. Overall, the food was good. While our server did a nice job of taking care of us, I was pretty disappointed with the bar staff and some of the other serving staff. A few of them were having a petty squabble over some. personality clashes and between their lack of concern over who heard them, and some of the language they used, it didn’t make for the most comfortable dining experience. Show a little professionalism!

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Outback aka a Chain Restaurant. We got to the restaurant at 6:58pm — with the Friday happy hour ending at 7pm. Our server came over quickly and asked us if we wanted a half price appetizer, and went quickly to the computer to put it in so we got the sale price. What a nice girl! I ordered the signature sirloin steak with a baked potato. It was good, real good! I ordered it medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the spices that were rubbed on the steak — yummy. The steak and sides came to $ 15…I couldn’t finish the meal so I thought it was a great deal. I had paid $ 24 for a hanger steak earlier in the week, and thought this was much much better. I’m shocked that I’m recommending a chain restaurant… but for a low cost steak, you could do a lot worse.

This was our 2nd time here, and our last! My boyfriend ordered their new«double burger» with no onions, it came with onions, and he said it was one of the most flavorless burgers he’s ever had. My salad I ordered with NOCHEESE had pieces of cheese in it, so I could not eat it. My steak that I ordered«well done» came back charcoal black & completely burnt. When I hit it with my fork, it made a sound like I was hitting the table. They made me a new one, and gave me lots of excuses as to why it came out burnt: Because it was seared, not fire grilled. Umm, ok. Whatever, we aren’t going back! If I can figure out how to add a picture, I will show you a picture of my black steak. I can’t believe it was served to me like that!

Yep, I ate at a chain; I know, insane. Food was good and came out fast. Server was polite and checked back frequently. We came early afternoon on a Sunday, so it was slower. For a chain restaurant it was clean and friendly. I was not a huge fan that they put all customers in one section instead of using their space. Also the light for our booth hung just below my eye-level, so I had to slouch to talk across the table. I asked for a medium-rare steak that came more rare than it should be… Still tasty, just had a stronger heartbeat than I preferred. Good job Outback! — * —

Very few things went right here. First off the place was empty but they put us in a table that is RIGHT next to another family. So close that it was like they were at our table. Next they bring out dirty plates with the bread. The server seemed quick though. We get our steaks and both of them were burnt on the outside. I asked for med. It came out med rare. The wife asked for well. And it came out dry. Sweet potato was very yummy. My daughter got the Mac n cheese which we were happy to find out was not kraft. But when it came it was lacking the cheese. It was more of a dry Mac. After the meal the server came back with the check and then we waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. Took forever for him to come back. Years ago we had a bad experience here. We decided to try it again. Wish we hadn’t. We will NOT be back.

Our group had people with allergies in it. One has a severe nut allergy, which they were able to accommodate. The others(me included) needed the gluten-free menu. The manager even came out to explain a couple of things to us. He was very nice. I had Alice Springs Chicken with a baked potato, which was very good. The only down side was we had 11 people in our party, and had to split up into 3 booths instead of sitting together., which was a shame because we were all together for my father’s funeral.

Great atmosphere, wonderful waitress Sarah! However, the Blooming Onion is a little greasy than my taste, but the sauce is awesome so that kinda balanced it out. And they overcooked my Porterhouse steak, I asked for medium rare but the center of the cut is medium well and the sides are too rare. My date ordered Rib-eye which was cooked perfectly. On the upside, they switched out our drinks when they started to water down, which I found very thoughtful.
