Ollie’s is a great place to find bargain prices for everyday items that doesn’t make you feel bad like shopping at Walmart sometimes does. They have everything from boots and movies to spices and blenders and wiper blades and Swiffer Wet Jets. The prices are really good. You can buy a Dirt Devil upright vacuum cleaner there for $ 40, when most other places it’s more like $ 60. And even though it is a bargain store, they still have the usual 30-day return policy. One problem I have with Ollie’s is that the spaces between floor displays are very narrow; to the point where it just barely fits a shopping cart between two displays. If you’re in a wheelchair or have to use crutches, it might be a bit difficult to move through parts of the store, but it’s not impossible. All-in-all, I am a fan. I found some great comfort foam pillows here for a real steal, and I have been using them for months with no problems or loss in volume or comfort.

This place is really nice and one can see the difference of the prices too… I liked the spices and they were all at cheap rates along with beauty products

Sure it’s a bargain outlet and it’s a fairly large store, but the actual store begs to differ. Located near Lowes, it is easy to spot Ollie’s dated designed building barely even trying to blend into the rest of the stores. If that isn’t bad enough, when you walk inside, be prepared to be swarmed with the demonic face of Ollie… smiling at you everywhere you turn, look, and peek. For lack of a better term, it’s like I walked into a movie. I guess Ollie was also to cheap to buy his own shopping carts since they are clearly using old Wal-Mart and Home Depot ones. That’s just being a lazy bum, shame on you Ollie. When they mean bargains, they weren’t lying about that. I was able to get two ceramic plant pots for about $ 12.99 each, compared to $ 39.99 each which was at Lowes. So the deals were genuine at the least, but this is sadly where the good times come to a close. Ollie somehow doesn’t have time to clean, because the store is very cluttered with bargain items galore all poorly stacked with of course, the face of creepy Ollie on the front. Want a bargain and can’t find anyhwere else to get it? Well, then Ollie’s is alright for that one thing, but for anyone else? Try a local thrit store.
