We just had a really good experience at the HWY 12 Diner! We have 2 small boys and when our oldest decided he didn’t like strawberries anymore when his waffle came out, we ordered him a new one. Not only did they not charge us for the second waffle, they also took the extra charge off of the first one (for the whip cream and strawberries)! The service was great and the food was awesome! We will be back :)

Chicken fried steak breakfast is delicious. Our whole family enjoyed their breakfast. Staff is very friendly and food hit the spot. Bathrooms are clean.

This delightful place is a step back in time. It has a soda fountain atmosphere with black and white checkered floors complete with antique memorabilia. The food is as delicious as any mom & pop restaurant I’ve ever been to. I loved the sweet potato fries and the special daily soup.

This place has become a weekly adventure for us! The food is great and the service to boot! The bisquits n gravy is made from scratch! Sunday Morning server is great! Friendly and on top of our needs! Havent tried lunch time yet, my only regret is they aren’t open for dinner!

I have never given a one star review before. We sat down, then 10 minutes later two more tables had people sit down, we were finally noticed and our order taken, after the other two tables had placed theirs. There are only 7 tables, so hard to get confused as to who has placed an order and who has not.
I asked for scrambled ages, CRISP bacon and Crisp hash browns. When it arrived, the bacon was soggy and under cooked, the hash browns had barely a hint of brown also under cooked. The eggs were good, but I left the rest on my plate.
The coffee was bitter.
It appeared to us, if you were a regular, your order was taken immediately when you sat down.
So, pass this up, IMO.

It’s an-​ok place. Server attentive, constantly clearing tables, cleaning up, etc. Ordered veggie scramble, lacked seasoning. Garden burger was great as was the sweet potato fries & grilled cheese. Hash browns were crispy.
