One year later and Fye has gone through some changes, some good, some bad but overall nothing to terrible. I am only removing a star from my original review because some of the prices have gone up and the store has been rearranged. What do I mean by rearranged? When you walk in, you still see the typical«-% off DVD’s/Blu-Ray’s» and the $ 9.99 and under CD bins in addition to the newer merchandise in the front usually on display in an elaborate fashion. However, that’s where the similarities seem to end. It appears that a lot of their CD’s weren’t being sold so they ended up expanding the clearance CD area where the M to S Pop/Rock section was and they filled it up with merchandise that has been in the store for about one or two years. All of these CD’s are brand new, still sealed but they are 40% off from their original price. They combined CD’s of all genres and placed them under this category. However even with the clearance, they were still a bit pricey but it’s still hard to resist. The clearance also expands to the DVD’s which are significantly less then the CD’s but most of the one’s on clearance are the DVD’s nobody wants like movie rip-offs and miserable sequels, good luck finding anything useful in there. The used section is smaller but they have It divided up. One side is the typical used media which are $ 9.99 and under but the other side(at the moment). are 25 cent CD’s and DVD’s that were supposedly«last chance» used items that they were going to remove because of slow sales but they have been there for about a month now so I doubt they are leaving anytime soon. I did find a decent movie and two CD’s for a total of 75 cents so that was a big accomplishment for buying items in a retail store! Still, you can find other used items in their proper categories depending on music artist, dvd/Blu-ray title, or TV series. The prices have raised a bit on some of the used merchandise depending on popularity of the item but it’s still not to the point where It won’t break the bank. The back of the store is still the same with T-shirts on one side and posters on the other, perfect for anyone wanting to decorate their room or need a new graphic-tee. The vinyl prices near the left don’t come cheap and the lowest I’ve seen is a mere $ 9.99, I would pass unless you only listen to music on records. They did add a «new used arrival» section near the movie toys so most of the new items will be found there unless already put out otherwise. A Heavy Metal section was also introduced a while back, nothing to special for me but it may interest others who are into that music. I still love visiting Fye every time I go to Greece Ridge and it’s even become a habit of mine to stop no matter what the occasion. While it’s certainly not as fabulous as I thought it was, it’s still an excellent store to get DVD’s and CD’s at a fair price that I don’t regret. However, I hope this Fye stays around for another ten or so years, I would hate to see it suffer the same fate as the one in Eastview did.

I came in looking for a specific, older cd. Cashier Jesse knew exactly what I was talking about and where to find it. For less than $ 5, problem solved w/a used copy in like-new condition.
