I walked up to the silver lake location in Rochester, MN tonight First of all they had all exterior lights off, including the big sign. I walk in to the lobby, which is open until 10 it’s in between 9:20 and 9:30 and all the seats were up. Not very welcoming. I mention to the clerk, a kid wearing glasses the outside lights are off. His response was yeah we turn them off and people still come to the drive through, we’ll even turn the lobby lights off and people still come to the drive through. I was like you’re deterring customers? He said we don’t need the money. In other words he’s telling a customer right in front of him we have the lights off so we don’t have to serve customers. He made a reference to the effect that they turn the lights off early on a pretty regular basis. He’s saying this all with this childish smirk on his face and his coworker was over by the drive through just giggling and laughing the entire time like he thinks this guy is being funny. I asked if there was a manager available to talk to he said yeah but she’s my buddy and got this big grin on his face like haha I can do and say whatever I want to to a customer and get away with it. It’s truly appalling, and you as a company should be embarrassed that you have an employee that first of all does these things, says these things all the while thinking it’s funny. This kid with out a doubt should lose his job and that giggling coworker needs more training. Unless this child is fired I will never step foot in that BK again, I know lose one customer big deal.

Not sure why this says CLOSED, but I agree it should be, as should every Burger King. BK used to be a worthy alternate to the golden arches, but the last 3 – 4 times I’ve eaten at a BK(usually not my choice), I have been disappointed. Today I had a smoked cheddar XT or something like that, which looked great on TV and in the photo on the menu in the restaurant. Bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, a large patty, bulging with lettuce and tomato… or so the ads promised. In reality, the patty was indeed a good size, but that was all. The sauce was runny and bland. I saw no cheese or tomato, and the lettuce was a couple of square inches of thick white leaves. Nothing at all like the ads. BK was good years ago, but not now. Stay away.
