Queen Bee

I spent all day in search of the right accessories for a wedding. I was down to needing a wrap and had looked damn near everywhere when I remembered this place!
I stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. First I must say that Sarah and Liz were incredibly nice and helped me so much. I brought my dress in and they not only found me the most beautiful wrap but also jewelry that looked way better than what I had previously chosen. I also purchased a small clutch that I actually don’t really love after all but everything else was perfect. These ladies really seem to enjoy what they do and it shows.
The store itself offers a nice selection of accessories and the prices are decent. However, I have one small gripe that prevented me from giving 5 stars. They have an «all sales final» policy. I am not opposed to that policy but I am opposed to not informing customers of said policy. I only found out because it was on my receipt. I called to ask if I could return the clutch because it just didn’t match the way I had hoped but everything else was great! The no returns policy was not indicated anywhere in the store nor was I told at checkout. Most places with similar policies at least tell you when checking out so you 100% know you love what you’re getting. I was hoping that since it was the same day they’d make an exception but nope. This I’ll not prevent me from returning because I think these ladies are great and the selection was nice but next time I’ll be sure to 100% love what I get before checking out!

Nice lady that owns it, but nice is not enough when it comes to business. I was shopping for gifts, found some interesting things. Spend a couple hundred. Over all I was pleased until I noticed that the lanyard I purchased for gift had some stones missing. It was 50% off. Of the $ 15 regular price. That $ 7.50 lanyard that could be purchased any where for much less. I went to exchange and was told they would not take back the defect item or even give a store credit. I left the lanyard there, because defective and couldn’t be given as a gift. Now I’m just out the money I spent. I had intended use the credit and purchase something not defective.
Most of what I bought there could have been purchased for less at a number of stores. I wanted to support an independent shop owner. After refusing a simple exchange for something I can not give as gift because of the missing stones was short sighted and will never spend my money there again.
Be careful before you buy anything at Queen Bee.

My sister went to this location and received 15% of her bridal accessories and for herself. So for my wedding we went to visit and pick out bridesmaid jewelry for 10 bridesmaids, myself, my mother, and my mother in law. We asked the girl working about ordering the items and the additional 15% off and she said oh no we don’t do that, and explained an entirely too long excuse about what it takes for them to order things with their vendors and what it costs them to do so? She said my owner is sitting over there and she is against giving any kind of discounts. My sisters wedding was 2 months ago… Small business owners do not know how to run businesses and have incompetent employees letting $ 500-​$ 600 walk out the door straight to spoiled girl and glitz and ears over in Clinton township! (We called both locations and they ARE giving a discount so if you have a wedding or event go ahead and visit them)

This place is amazing! The lady who helped me was so helpful. I was looking for bridal jewelry. She looked at a picture of my dress and offered up great suggestions.
They have tons of absolutely beautiful stuff from jewelry to purses and their prices are really reasonable! I walked out of there with a necklace and bracelet for my wedding for $ 30. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Staff is wonderful and so is their merchandise! Run, don’t walk to this place!

Rebecca, the manager waited on me today, what a delight! It was my first time in the store and was drawn in by the eclectic styles of jewelry and accessories in the window. After I opened the door, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Square footage I couldn’t fathom full of jewelry, purses, headbands, barrettes, pins, etc. Some of the most BEAUTIFUL BRIDAL accessories I have EVER SEEN! Super reasonable prices, and they even do repairs! They have it ALL!!!
