Good not spectacular sushi. Appetizer was a beef dish thinly cut and wrapped around scallions. Great texture and flavor. For the entrée I went with the sushi platter. Salad was very plain with typical ginger dressing. Sushi platter had a lot of variety and the fish was very well done. A little surprised we were the only ones there at 6:45 on a weeknight but a more people filtered in during the meal. Nothing to complain about for a sushi restaurant in Trenton, NJ.

Best sashimi in the area. Always fresh and delicious. I always get assorted sashimi. My wife gets different entrees and never been disappointed. Highly recommended Yummy Sushi.

The first night we went the service was so slow but it was a Friday night. We went on a weekday during lunch and it was very prompt. The sushi is OK. The problem is the end pieces are for show and very large. My husband felt as if he was paying for a whole roll and should be able to eat the whole roll not two thirds of a roll. The tables were very small! There was hardly any room for our plates and the beverages are canned. If you want a refill you will definitely pay by the can. The rest of our food(Thai fried rice, pad thai) was good. My husband felt the pad thai noodles were a bit too thin and small for Pad Thai but the flavors were there.

Its ok. Very pricy. I live around the corner and delivery is always 45 minutes. The food is nothing special. Typical Asian cuisine. I usually only go out of convenience.

Worst sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. I ordered the crunchy spicy tuna roll, it not crunchy or spicy. It contained a pink mystery meat that tasted like absolutely nothing, it was like eating a sponge. I also ordered the black dragon roll that the menu stated it contained salmon with avocado and eel on top. This roll was equally horrible, contained the same pink mystery meat and tasted like nothing. Congratulations Yummy Sushi you took me for $ 35. The shrimp shumai was good. I explained this to the manager and she said next time ask for whole pieces of fish. If the menu states the sushi roll contains tuna and/or salmon you should be able to taste those individual fish.

I usually order Chinese from this place. In the few times I ordered I found a hair in my food, not one but THREE times already! Three different times. In such a nice place like Robbinsville Town Center I would expect the place to be at least clean.

I have nothing bad to say about this place, they just didn’t earn 5 stars in my opinion because of their sushi. Don’t get me wrong the food is great but I’m comparing it to places I’ve been before. While their presentation of some of their sushi is super cool, sometimes their sushi is up to par. I’ve been here a couple times before with my dad and sister and I’ve ordered more then just sushi. The chicken teriyaki was good and no one can really mess up a California roll. The coconut shrimp was awesome, came with some spicy dipping sauce we all enjoyed. The service is good and everyone is friendly, like I said the 3 stars is based just on the sushi, they have unique rolls and some you will see on other menus. This place is close to my dads house so when we want some decent sushi we come here. They also serve Japanese soda, it’s popular and delicious(I had some weird things floating around in my water last time I was here)

Food was good. But the portions are tiny ordered salmon tartare and it was tiny. Along with the salmon roll. It was small. For $ 17, I expect more for the angus black pepper steak. It was a small portion. They seemed a little disorganized too. Too many waitresses were coming up to ask our orders.

Best sushi in the Hamilton/Robbinsville area! Always fresh and delicious — especially love the tuna appetizers and the special rolls. The wait for food can be a bit long at times, but my family enjoys conversing and spending time together, so this isn’t an issue for us. Plus the rolls are always excellently constructed and presented, so any wait is well worth it. Also love that it is BYOB!

Came for dinner on a Thursday night. Most tables were full and it was lively. The décor is appealing, and the reviews and pictures on Unilocal seemed promising so I was excited. The menu is huge and there was so much to look at. The waitress approached three times before I could finally decide on what I wanted. Looking at the«special rolls» menu, I thought it was a little pricey, with each roll between $ 10-$ 14. I ended up ordering the Black Dragon roll off the special menu, and a spicy tuna roll off the regular menu. My date ordered the 3 roll combo special with spicy salmon, tuna,&shrimp. The rolls came out within the next 15mins or so but I was shocked when I saw the size of the rolls and the plating. My spicy tuna roll looked like a miniature roll & the Black Dragon Roll was NOT worth $ 10. Usually I provide a picture with my Unilocal reviews because I like to photograph what I’m about to eat but these looked so sad that I didn’t even bother. The coloring of the fish in all the rolls indicated that it wasn’t very fresh fish at all. The waitress was very pushy and kept asking if we were done when we were barely even half way done. There were plenty of empty tables and no one was waiting to be seated so why was she in such a rush to get us out? Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. It’s not horrible and if you’re craving sushi, it’ll hit the spot but you can get better fish/service/bang for your buck elsewhere.

AWFUL service, decent sushi, awful hibachi, No booze, basically don’t waste your time/money. We asked for simple requests which were not met(more ginger) never checked up on us, neglected one person in my parties meal

Arrived and ordered 20min before a party of four(who ordered enough sushi to feed a small village) and they got served and finished before we had our entrée. Excuse, didn’t have one, didn’t discount or comp anything. Brought it up to manager and magically got our food served. I should have done drive thru at Burger King. Sushi was ok, but NOT worth the wait. Avoid this place.

The gyoza is great, the miso soup is great, the salad with ginger dressing is great. The sushi is outstanding! BEST of all the service is unbelievably good – everyone is so friendly and attentive. Very nice, upscale and contemporary atmosphere. A MUST dine restaurant. Yummy sushi is my 15 year old daughter’s absolute favorite restaurant. They have Japanese soda and bubble tea.

Very serene ambiance. Even where there have been lots of people here, it’s never been too noisy. The service, while not overly speedy, has never been as horribly slow when I’ve been there as several of the reviews have suggested. The prices and portions are fair. Both dishes I’ve had have been good to very good, just a tad lacking in flavor. I’d give the place 3.5 stars if I could, but will round up to 4.

I spent $ 40 on takeout and was still very hungry after I ate. The portions were extremely small and the sushi wasn’t anything special. Disappointing would be the word I’d use to summarize my experience at «Yummy».

Favorite sushi place of all time. Been here numerous times. A little pricy but well worth the splurge. I highly recommend their tuna«sandwich, «spicy girl roll, fantasy roll, caterpillar roll, and yummy special roll. Although everything I have had here has been outstanding. Favorite place by far!

Excellent! My wife and I decided to try Yummy Sushi after passing by multiple times on Rt. 33. Wow. This place will certainly become our go-to spot for specialty roles in the area. It’s conveniently located in Hamilton Square near other shops, restaurants, and Maggie Moos ice cream. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. Yummy Sushi has the elegance and sophistication to merit a good date night spot, while maintaining the comfort for the whole family to enjoy. We tried the Spicy Girl, Caterpillar, Dragon and Angel rolls and have nothing but amazing things to say about all of them. I certainly liked the Spicy Girl the best, especially with crunch added on top. The Specially Rolls were served on an awesome wooden pirate ship, with one of the smaller rolls atop the mast. We loved the decoration and thought it was an extremely creative way to serve up rolls for a family to share. Yummy Sushi is BYOB, so make sure you pick up some good brews on the way. With an awesome atmosphere, welcoming and professional staff, and phenomenal specially rolls, we will most certainly be helping ourselves to another pirate ship of sushi again. Yummi Sushi definitely sets the standard for a 5-star sushi restaurant.
