Good place to buy books over the UCR bookstore. Prices usually 20 – 80 $ differences. The lines are horrible and moves dreadfully slow during prime book buying days. Other that close to campus and good prices.

This bookstore is an alternative to the on-​campus bookstore that UCR has. However, I find that their prices are still not comparable to many online sellers. The only way I find that the prices here are worth it are if you buy the used books which are a fairly good price. They do buy-​back but they claim that they give so much more than the UCR bookstore, but I don’t find that that’s the case. You’re better off selling it online or in person to another student. Some of the workers are very kind, but some of them are a little snotty and mean. They don’t allow you to bring bags of any kind into the store, so be weary of that before coming here! They do take credit cards but aside from the first week of the quarter, their sales are final sale. So, just be sure that you want to buy these books as they are fairly expensive!
