Mine and my boyfriends favorite place to eat at UCR. Best word to describe it is YUM! I love Scotty’s, it’s about a 3 minute walk from my dorm, so convenient. My favorite has to be the sourdough melt, must try! It’s a burger with grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and bacon on sourdough bread. Serious best place on campus!

This place is pretty great. Didn’t really pay attention to it last year, but now that I’m living in the apartments right next to it, I’m sure I’ll be going there often. Yeah, it’s true: if you don’t have dining dollars, don’t spend your money buying the food from here. Unless you’re really starving. The ambience is pretty cool. The guys here are pretty chill, and they’re all students, so you feel more welcome. I got a Sourdough Melt from their grill options. They made some improvements this year, including adding burgers and Sourdough Melt to the menu, as well as extending their grill hours to 10pm. Sweet! The Sourdough Melt doesn’t come with lettuce or tomatoes, but I asked if he could add them and he did. Super chill. If you live on campus and need a convenience store, this is the place to go.

Five stars only compared to all of the other convenient stores on UCR residence halls. It’s the biggest one and it has the grill. Where they make delicious turkey club sandwiches on the grill. Yes it is a lot better than Logos in Lothian. They always have the freshly squeezed UCR orange juice. Even though its a rip off $ 3.30 its still better than Naked Juice.

5 stars for the grill NOT the convenience store now at the end of my second year at ucr i still have gone to the grill to get a turkey club or a roast beef, no shame pulling out and paying with my debit card versus dining dollars, obviously, my favorites are the turkey club and roast beef sandwiches, i’m not that much of a sweet tooth so the dessert sandwiches don’t really appeal to me but i heard that monkey’s uncle is hella good, Aside from the sandwiches, they have these things callled tornadoes which are like small taquito’s? I really like the cream cheese habanero ones, and the breakfast egg and sausage Spring of 10 they added breakfast and they had these bomb ass breakfast sandwiches, but i think they’re taking it away next year. sooo take advantage we have 2 weeks of school left!!!

This place has good sandwiches. Kinda expensive if you’re using a credit card and not dining dollars. They used to sell breakfast sandwiches which were very very good, but they stopped and it has made me sad): They have a lot of like chips and stuff– exactly the kind of foods that college kids eat which makes them gain the freshman 15. It has nice people working but very little selections on the sandwich front. But it’s right next to Pentland which is where I live at the moment so it’s close and has decent food.

Been here a lot during my freshman year. Made a lot of midnight snack trips. Highly convenient but only worth it if you have dining dollars. Have tried their sandwich I think is called a monkeys uncle which is peanut butter, nutella and sliced bananas sandwich between two toasted bread. Very delicious

If you don’t have UCR dining dollars don’t ever come here. The sandwiches are good but expensive.

When I lived in Pentland Hills I couldn’t stop eating the Turkey Club good heavens. Sandwiches are wonderful. I can’t really give this place 5 stars because they only make sandwiches(upgrade to making gourmet hotdogs and stuff like that and oh my god you’ll get the cash flowing even more heavily than it does now!)

Neat little convenience store between Pentland Hills and Glen Mor Apartments. They have a grill that not only serves regular deli sandwiches, but also different spins on the PB& J. I had the Monkey’s Uncle which was Nutella, peanut butter and banana on wheat bread and grilled to perfection! I wish this place existed when I was going to UCR.
